AGM-113 Anti Radar Missile - Replace Your HARM's!

Kazakhstania and The Zoogie People have been working on a number of projects for some time now, so it comes as no surprise that we have started another project. This project is a project that may change the use of Airspace for quite some time, and may breath life into the Attack Fighter.

AGM-113 "Shiva"

http://home.ripway.com/2004-1/54396/agm113.jpg

This new missile was designed to be small and Compact and almost undetectable, yet still pack the punch and manoeuvrability to kill a radar site from a decent distance. It was based around the CARM concept. This is "Compact Anti Radiation Missile". It was designed around the "compact part."

For the most part, the body is just that. Sleek, smooth with folding fins, it allows for excellent manoeuvrability and speed. It s new "Hydrogen Nitrate" and Oxygen bleed engine allows for a smaller engine with a large speed, if slightly smaller range, at 20.56 nautical miles. This is at Mach 3.9, a colossal speed that allows for hard detection.

The seekers on the missile are high tech and very sophisticated. The small passive radar seeker is very 'quiet' and hard to detect. It has a detection range for the smallest of clamshell radars at 24nm on average. One launched, as the missile reaches 4nm to target, the radar is turned off and IR turned on, which means the missile is almost undetectable. But if the IR is jammed, the radar can still function, which is a bonus.

Using either seeker, the missile will plow into the target. If the target stops radiating, the small computer will still remember the position and guide the missile in, even if both guidance systems are jammed. It even selects which guidance system and flight path, using GPS ground maps to avoid terrain. This makes it a very, very smart missile.

It is compatible with all US, Russian, Kazakhstanian and Zoogian systems. It can also be made compatible with other systems with great ease. It works well with Kazakhstanian JTIDS, too. It is a fantastic system, with its own mind, brain and power.

The power is in twin warheads up front. These are both an HE warhead for target puncture, and HE-FRAG for 20 metres round about to be blown apart. This warhead it’s guaranteed to be lethal. As you can see, the missile combines many reliable fantastic systems to kill a target, all at 20 miles. Fantastic.

So, please enjoy!

Cool :P May you blow thy enemy's SAMs to tiny bits..
[subliminal bump]

IC:

Zoogiedom would like to greatly thank Kazakhstania for the work they put into the AGM-113...it has fared tremendously well in trials, and is more compact than an AIM-120! HARMs are now being used as toilet paper, and toilet paper as ... well. Thanks again.

Ahh, another excellent weapon from Kazakhstania and The Zoogie People.

How much would production rights for this system cost?
The Zoogie People

Hm...not sure for a missile...how much are you willing to offer?

This is just a rough guess, but I'd say no more than a billion, maybe slightly more.

Can these be fired from helicopters do you think?

We need something lighter for helicopter assaults since our EAW-10AR (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=135324&start=0) is too heavy for this role but it does have an immense range making it probably a better replacement for the AGM-88 and this missile a fit replacement for the AGM-122 Sidearm.

One Billion hmmm. We'll wait a while so the weapon isn't quite so new when production rights and plans are handed out.

UE, I dont know really. Your EA-26 Ka-50 lookalike might be able to, my Ka-58 surely can.
The Zoogie People

I don't see why not; it's considerably smaller than an AMRAAM and its weight certainly allies the wings to support it. May be a bit of a stretch for light helicopters, but yours ought to be fine.
Kazakhstania

Yup. Probably can.

Notice how unitions never sell well :(

Al-Sabir would like to order 900 of these missiles. These missiles will nicely complement our heavier anti-radiation missiles.

Total: 306 Million

Money will be wired upon confirmation

Can we please purchase an initial batch of 385 for our special ops helicopters squadrons. If these prove succesful we will place a much larger supplemental order.

We'll order 1000 of these missiles for our elite fighter squadrants.

Sorry, I have been away for a while.

All orders have been confirmed, and I must say it is quite nice to have such big names buying these fine weapons.

I thank you all.

As unsuccesful tests of creating anti-radar missile in Empire of Haukka we would like to place order of 224 for air force and 60 for the navy. So total 284.

We would like the production rights for this very useful missile. LRRMFs passive systems will definately have to improve.

We would love to make your order happen, but first we wish to say something.

If you wish, we could make, licence and help to produce an Anti Radar Missile for you. To be nice.
Kazakhstania

Oh, and you LRR.

The prod rights are cheap, only $1 Billion.

That would be pretty good.

Say, are you and Zoogie up for a light fighter program? The MiG-29KI needs replacing.

Zoogie hasn't been around for a while, but the F-41 needs replacing, so yeah.

Its better than the Eurofighter and the MiG-29 on the latest RL version, but upgrades are nice, and I love to work with others.

Ok, so Zoogie, me, and you design a new fighter? Is that good? You'll surely both have production rights.

The LRRAF will probably order around 1,000 of whatever comes out if it is up to scratch. The F-3 covers the heavy fighter department pretty well, but we are looking for something lighter to fill in the gaps.

The ASAF wishes to procure the production rights for this fine missile, which has proven very useful in a number of real conflicts Al-Sabir was involved in.

06-06-2004, 10:45
Combat testing eh?

Can you possibly send us some of the missile data, so we can study it for a better, more effective future missiles.

Meanwhile, $1 Billion for the production rights.
Al-Sabir
06-06-2004, 13:20
It was used in the Gabon conflict, which just ended. We'll send missile data and we can assure you it performed excellent, with a 85 percent hit ratio, though the short-range was definatly the main drawback of the weapon.

Also, for the production rights, 1 billion has been wired to your account.
Kazakhstania

Thankyou for that.

The plans, rights to build and several working copies have been sent.
