Which way should I render my pics? [Pics]

Some of you may have noticed I recently went through my storefront and re-rendered everything.
I gotta ask now... should I continue on with Cell Shading and make things look like they're from a Video Game? Or should I dump an hour of effort into things and go for a realistic movie-quality pic?
For example, here is the Kryptonite Mk III:

Realisticish:

[edit: pic changed]
While I do like the Realistic one for obvious reasons, I still like the whole Homeworld look.
Well, YOU decide which looks cooler!

cell shaded just plain looks betterI agree... If I can't obtain absolute realistic photo quality, then just go for what looks coolest.

I think realistic without a fancy background or firing guns would look best, but you might want to save the time and go with cell-shaded.

Um, I think if you add a bump map (or hype up your current one) to the realistic one, it'll look better. Otherwise, the cell shaded one does look good.
Do you render with the default lighting?

Actually, I like the realistic better. The use of shading in it gives it more depth than the "cell-shaded", which I know is kind of the point, but it sounds better than me saying "I like it because I like it." :P

I WAS using the bump maps, these pics are just too small to tell.
Should I simplify the hull texture and get rid of the green things?
Yeh, I wasn't sure.
Did you use the diffuse color texture as a bump map?

Hold on, i'm going to try it with a less complex texture, see if it works better
Well... you can either increase bump strength... (at least I think you can, I dunno with Lightwave) or you can make the texture black and white, instead of shades of grey.

*drools* :DOther than the horrible compression artifacts, does that look pretty good?
That pic is unphotoshopped :)
I'm experimenting around with stuff to give it a little less contrasting or dramatic colors...
