This Forum shall henceforth be the meeting place of all members of The Digital World to discuss treaties, policies of trade, and international incidents. All others are welcome to read, however we ask that participation in this forum be limited to members of The Digital World except by specific invite.

Individual nations can still send private telegrams to the other nations if there are issues they wish to discuss in secret, but for all statements of actions that it would be logical for all nations to know about, they must be posted on this forum.

The following website will be used to calculate a nations National Budget
http://members.fortunecity.com/thracetailteann/html/gnp.html

After calculating your budget, you must post your total National Budget, then you must allocate all of those funds in the following 10 categories:

1 ) Defence
2 ) Law & Order
3 ) Commerce
4 ) Social Welfare
5 ) Social Equality
6 ) Environment
7 ) Healthcare
8 ) Religion & Spirituality
9 ) Education
10 ) Public Transportation

Some of those categories will be listed on your country's description, and your allocation of those funds must make sense with that description and the general history of your country. And you must always have at least some funds going into each category.

 To the most honorable ******* ********, President of Nitrogenia:

First, I would like to respond to this specific incident that you addressed to me. As you may or may not know, the system of government in our nation relies on a series of rotating governmental offices among the representatives of each of our six member states. During this particular period of time in which the addressed issue arose, the post of diplomatic envoy to the UN was held by the Senator from File Island, a region whose economy would have stood to be greatly boosted by the passage of the proposed resolution. As an Alliance of states, the people of Tartaruga have learned to give full credit to the dutifully elected officials of other member states in the issue of working towards mutual good. However, at the same time, I would like to make clear that the government at large of Tartaruga does not support the construction of a space defense network.

Just as I, as the head of government of the Allied States of Tartaruga, can recognize the differences in opinions among the constituent states of my nation, I can also recognize the differences in opinion among all the sovereign states of the Digital World. Of course there is always room for disagreement among allies, and I doubt that there will be any long-standing resentment among our respective countries. However, in the future, I would greatly prefer if you would first express any disagreements through the proper political and diplomatic channels before making a decision as abrupt and rash as this. I do not believe that the proper way of conducting international relations is to simply denounce and cut lines of support to whomever you happen to have a disagreement on any particular issue. Let us instead participate in the give-and-take that I am sure both of our great nations share as their foundations.

With greatest respect,
Jonathan Altig, Consul of the Allied States of Tartaruga

To the most honorable nations of The Digital World,

The issue placed before the UN is to recognize those beings who have been cloned as being equal in status as those who are born under natural means. While we do not support the process of cloning, since we cannot keep other countries from doing so, then we support this bill giving clones equal rights, therefore prohibiting the creation of a "slave race" or other such detrimental consequence of mass cloning by other nations. I know there have been disputes over UN delegacy endorsements, and I pray that those issues shall be settled peacefully in due time, but I do ask that all nations support us in this decision by giving us their endorsement as UN delegate. The final vote for this issue is on Thursday, and we are more than willing to reconsider our position if enough evidence is presented. But if you are already in agreement with us on this issue, I ask that you would give your endorsement to our nation, at least for the time being, so that we may ensure the passing of this resolution.

With Humble Respect to All Members of the Digital World,
The President of the Democratic Republic of Nitrogenia
