Turkestan besieged; Kaiser begins assault east.

OOC: This is my first RP on Nation-States, but I have lurked around for awhile and read most of the FAQs. I am willing to accept ANY criticism, be it destructive or constructive. Thanks.

The city of Yining came into view to the advancing forces of the conquering Asien Korps. The Kaiser had long waited for the moment when the fabled riches of Asia would come into his grasp. For centuries they had been underground in Turkestan, waiting, fomenting rebellion as the various factions in China fought themselves to a stand-still. Apparently south-east and north-east China was were the main focus of conflict centered. Perfect, the Kaiser had promised to his generals.
Finally, on June 2nd, the Reichswehr had struck. The Leopards of the Asien Korps struck without warning as the long-constructed air bases let out the L-78 (Jing version of the Alpha-Jet) planes. The assault was not limited to Yining. The cities of Urumqi, Hami, and Anxi all faced assaults from Asien Korps. The primitive Uighur nomads or left-over Chinese garrisons had no way of holding off the conquering Panzerarmees. The L-78 planes cruised southwards, and another, smaller force took control of the Tarim river as the 9th Army began the assaults of Aksu and Kashi. After these first conquets were achieved, the Kaiser prepared for the much larger prize of Xining.

The Leopard 2J tanks were ready and the might of the Osterreich assembled. Time would tell if it would be succesfull.

Hans sat in his tank, practically baking in the hot sun of Turkestan as the Asien Korps made its usual bombastic victory march through the streets of a conquered city. Turning to the man next to him, he whispered, "Don't know what all the fuss is, Urumqi barely warrants the term city, not to mention those other 'cities' we took."
"That may be true, man, but we have taken a pretty vast tract of land."
"So what? Nothing in it but nomads and steppes."
"Yes, but it will make an adequate base from which to launch an attack in the Chinese heartland.
"True. I just wish the Reichswehr would get on with it!"
"Patience is a virtue." Hans went back down into his Leopard, grumbling in an indiscernable voice.

The Asien Korps of the Reichswehr had just made its triumphal entry into Urumqi, the major city of Chinese Turkestan. The entire steppe and Tarim river was now under Imperial domination, without so much as a nod from the international community. The Kaiser assumed no one cared what happened in Asia anymore. In fact, he was counting on it.

ooc: a few comments about your attack:
1) how did your army get to china in the first place?
2) i don't know what direction your army is coming from, but you'd face one of two obstacles: the himalayas or the taklamakan desert, neither of which is conducive to armored units. advancing from the west would be slow, but chinese reinforcements from the east would arrive rapidly via railroads (mainly).
3) also, to attack where you're attacking would mean that your line of supply would be stretched rather long and thin.

Im in China. Its a German state INSIDE China. Thats just like asking a Kurdish nation uprising in Iraq how they got there. As for where, I am indeed attacking from the west, and I'm going by the fact that no one owns this land and the fact that the people who want China only want the south-east and north-east parts, ie Xiaguo, Taiwan, Sino...etc.
