This is to be an OOC only post. These are my air force and naval inventory plans for when I reach a population of 1 billion...I am seeking your reviews to see if I've been keeping it realistic, and would like some suggestions on the army part. If I'm missing any sections, please remind me...in parenthesis are relative comparisons in capability to RL material.

His Defense spending is 6% of his GDP and that is approx of 11% of Zoogies budget

9968 planes total. It's a little small for someone of that size, so realistic in that it isn't too big, although, saying that, your navy seems rather large to compensate. Oh well. That's my comment, make of it what you will.

Nope. you are an isle after all, so a navy should be no1 priority, with airforce no2. Why have the army been ignored completely? It gives something to work with if we know basic numbers

Well, actually, air force is right up there with navy...the Army has been ignored completely because I'm completely clueless.

But you just said yourself small airforce too big navy, how are they equal now. Are we talking funding, and there is a mistake in the numbers, or you believe the airforce equal to the navy because all the planes are expensive killers (they might be, I dunno.)
Army isn't my strongpoint either. I try to become a coalition with other, land based powers. I provide the airforce and navy, they provide troops.
My airforce is very big, I just bought it from Clan Smoke Jaguar, cost 2trillion. 14,000+ planes, and I am 413million, so you should be able to at least double that.

Priority wise, my air force is roughly equal priority to the navy (my OOC strong point would be in air force)...so I'm probably going to adjust numbers a bit.

14,000 + Planes? Either CSJ made you too purchase happy (wholly possible) or that's a huge air force :P

I made me too purchase happy. I said, "I want an airforce." He said, "how much of military budget?" I said, "all of it. For 5 years." Now I have the big airforce. :D That is the saga of the Jordaxian airforce.

If you include my huge JXN force, it actually clocks in at about 39,000 aircraft.

Actually, it's not that huge.
The US currently has about 7000 combat, support, and transport aircraft (excluding helicopters, test aircraft, UAVs, and trainers) in all branches, and that's after a decade of major downsizing. At the height of the cold war, they easily had twice that.
As for actual combat aircraft, the US currently has about 4300, excluding helicopters and UAVs.
When you factor in relative size and spending, it's really not all that excessive.
