"This is a transmission to any one that can help. The military has begun a civil war I repeat the military has begun a civil war. My god we need help they are attempting to sieze the weapon we ask for help I repeat we need help.

After Galactic condemnation of the temporal incursion weapon the government wished to destroy and cease all efforts of its production however the military did not agree.

Admiral Bosh took command of the fleet and began imposing military rule around the Empire. He met with heave resistance. As the military was no a part of the development of the weapon as such, Admiral Bosch looted and took hostage most high ranking employees of the empires leading corporation Dantek.

This corporation is constructing the weapon and has researched it under contract from the government. Admiral Bosch must be stopped he has taken the entire fleet and is heading for the weapons location. I tis locat

We are preparing to ortillerize the facility where the weapon was developed to destroy any records and request a few fleets from various nations start looking for the rogue fleet near the asteroid belt, as an asteroid was the intended target.

Upon the viewing screen was the Dantek installation, its shields were raised and its weapon systems had been activated.

"This is Admiral Bosch supreme commander of all military forces of the Empire lower your weapons and shields and allow us to come aboard. If you refuse you will all die."

The commander of the research installation opened hails. "We will not give you any of our research material Bosch. We would rather die than allow it to fall itno your hands."

"Admiral we are detecting a signal from the installation. They are attempting to contact the homeworld. It contains a data stream Admiral."

"Intercept it."

"Sir we have completed the interception it is the installations research notes. They are using current calssified 1 clearance codes."

"Just as well iam cleared for level 1. Well since this installation is so inept at communicatins and well everything else destroy it."

Five Hatak class motherships opened fire upon the installation. The rest of the fleet proceeded into hyperspace. The rest followed shortly, the installation was destroyed it had been assumed there was no survivors.

IC: Admiral, we are disgusted at the waste of an intellectual life and must ask you to desist. Further action upon your part will result in baaaaad things.

DGNT condems the Imperial Brits military and specificaly Admiral Bosh, and is sending a part of its Earth Defence Fleet to aide in the preservation of the rightful Imperial govornment.
The DNS Famine and Pestilence have been dispatched with their fleets.
A total of twenty ships has been dispatched, with the possibility of further reinforcements as needed.
DGNT requests information as to the last known layout of the Imperial Brits fleet, and the state of any fleets, army divisions, or other personel who have not defected.
DGNT also wishes to know if ground fighting is involved yet.

With all the commotion going on in the Imperial Brit empire, everything appeared to be calm, within reason, around the homeworld. All of a sudden twelve Indra Prime Battleships, six destroyers, and the most recently commissioned Phaeralon Class Vessel, the IPFS Borealis, dropped out of temporal hyperspace and edged into a geosynchronous orbit above the capital. A tightbeam transmission leapt from the flagship to the capital of the nation in disarray.

"This is General Michael Robinson of the Indra Prime eleventh fleet. We have been ordered to assist your nation in recapturing the temporal incursion weapon and to prevent it from falling into the wrong hands. We need to know the location of the weapon so we can set a course to keep it from falling into the military's hands. We have been ordered to destroy the facility and the research if we are unable to get a hold on the weapon. We need fleet strengths and types of armaments. We also require all knowledge of the enemy and their strongholds in this sector. Please advise."

You must understand the military is very paranoid about its secrecy only a very few people have the knowledge of the fleet and they are all with Bosch. The archives have been deleted there is no way in which weapon, only the senate can give that and I am afraid that they are all mostly loyalists to Admiral Bosches cause. The only way we could possibly get the information is if I am given emergency powers. My aides and my allies are working on it at present however the decision can not be made until tomorrow when the senate meets. The will of the people is behind me, as well as the backing of several senators when this is put forward I will have the authority to aide you in any way possible. However there is a problem. Admiral I can aid you with the specifications of the fleet, however I can give you the numbers. Admiral Bosch left our territory with fourteen Hatak class motherships, as well as two of our new capital ships the IBS Mortis and the IBS Set. We must warn all races that these capital ships are armed with a high energy…. “

Fifteen years ago I had a vision which I can only describe as a message from God, oh how wrong I was. In fact the message was from a race which exists outside this dimension they call themselves the Shivans. They asked me, demanded of me to help them. I asked them why, to this day I still have not received an answer but I have received instructions and information. I have witnessed their power their military might exceeds everything we can possibly comprehend. They conquer Galaxies upon galaxies, Dimensions upon Dimensions its only a matter of time before they are able to reach us. That is why I intend to help them, so that my people can survive the storm. It is our only defence, it is our only hope.

"Sir, orders. We are to make a microjump to Imperial Brits and defend the area against their own forces." The comms officer handed a sheet to Fleet Admiral Riley, who read through it briefly, then nodded.
"Helm, set new course, and give us a microjump set for Imperial Brits, I want four Justice Class ships to jump ahead of the main fleet by ten minutes, the remainder will stop about halfway and wait for a scouting report. MOVE!"
There was a flurry of activity, and four ships of the Justice class vanished in a blue glare.

As hyperspace whirled around him the captain of the Majestic wondered briefly WHY people killed each other. But then, he thought...who knows what evil lurks in some mens souls.
That would be me.
Or who knew what crazed desires rose in some peoples hearts.
Me again.
But, being a soldier, it was not his to question orders.
You cant hear me, can you? Oh well...it was worth a try.
A figure that nobody could see leaned against a wall and shouldered his scythe.
A short time later the Glory struck a mine left in hyperspace. Normaly this wouldnt have bothered the ship very much, there would have been some shaking and the female officers would have been thrown around a bit, the captain might have had his shirt torn and a few pipes would leak steam, but nothing really serious.
However, this was one of DGNTs own mines, and it was a mine designed to kill things in a very large area.
As it happened the equivalent of five pounds of antimatter was residing in the mine. Normaly the mines autodestruct would have kicked in a hundred and fifty years ago, but something had been jarred and in hyperspace nothing corroded or aged hardly at all.
In any case the Glory didnt stand a chance, an explosion that nobody on Earth saw or felt or even noticed unless they had a hyperspace scanner of some sort, tore the ship into small, small pieces.
I was beggining to think you would miss your appointment said Death.
"Ah..." The captain paused. Then reached down and touched the rail by his hand. It was gray, and slightly transparent. "Err...why?"
Have you ever heard of a ship being refered to as a living thing?
"Well...yes. But I thought it only applied to..well...ships."
It applies to most vessels where the crew believes. Death turned and began walking away.
"Wait! What are we supposed to do now!?"
Death shrugged. Nobody can really shrug like a seven foot tall skeleton.
I dont know. This is your ship
"Yes...but...where are we? What are the routs? Where are the planets?"
Find out for yourselfs.
Death faded.
"Well...what do we do now?" An officer walked up behind the captain.
"Err...I heard this myth the Easern tribes have...that when you die you go to this garden with these young women and..." He blushed as much as a dead person can.
"Well, its worth a try. Helm! Set course for...that way!" He gestured.
And so the ghost of a ship, sailing the stars for eternity, moved with silent grave toward nowhere.

Fighting still continues in the capital however with the admirals absence most troops have seen little point in the continuation with the war. Only small outposts and military bases on a few colonies are still loyal the the Bosch cause. Hopefully in a few days it may be safe for the emperor to return to the capital.



"Admiral we are coming out of hyperspace."

"This is Admiral Aken Bosch, to the commander of the imperial depot samlat, do you have my supplies commander?"

"This is commander Sargit we have been expecting your arrival for some time now this is the last shipment you will need to complete the weapon. Everything is located on ring platforms you may begin transport."

"Thank you commander."

"Sir the transport will take a little time."

"Hurry up and get it over and done with we must be on our way. I have recieved a communication from a friend in the Senate half the Galaxy is looking for us, we are outnumbered and outgunned however that will not be the case for long."

"I am retiring to my quaters if I do not want to be disturbed, when the supplies have been loaded you know what to do."

"Yes Admiral."

The loading of the supplies was completed and the fleet opened fire upon the depot.

"Commander we are under attack, Bosch has opened fire."

"Raise the shields hurry."

"Emitters are destroyed we have no shields."

"Sound the evacuation everyone to the escape pods"

The escape pods were launched however that did not help any of the survivors, the feet picked them off one by one untill there was no one left. However one pod remained floating amoungst the debree it's distress signal echoed into the darkness.

"Order the fleet to resume its present course."

The DGNT ships arrived in orbit a short while later, just above the IB capitol, each seeming to stretch forever in a few breif miliseconds during the exit from hyperspace when ships were going near enough to the speed of light as made no differnce.
The three 'scout' Jusice class ships made quick turns and entered the atmosphere to begin a support run for the IB troops, once inside Earths lower atmosphere they launched their fighters and began a slow sweep of the city, wiping out any groups of rebels they could positivly identify.

"IB ground forces, this is DGNT Fleet, please keep us informed as to your troop positions inside the capitol, those who do not identify themselves are at risk of being blasted into their component molocules. That is all." Admiral Riley switched the comm off. "Allright, tell the Justices that they are to try to minimize collateral damage, but dont hesitate to blow anything up if they have to. Once the city is reasonably secure we will bring in ground troops and establish a permimeter if the IB forces allow it."
The bridge erupted into activity as the first warning shots of the ships on the planets were fired, on the screen a few of the more heavily damaged structures in the city collapsed.

We ask all nations to stop and not concern themselves with the ground situation. Admiral Bosch is heading to the construction site of Imperial Brits new weapon the temporal incursion vessel. If he is not stopped he could do unknown ammounts of damage to the timeline. For all we know many nations could cease to exist if Bosch gains access to this weapon.

Admirals Log: The days grow longer as my anticipation increases, i am looking forward to aiding my Shivan brothers in there quest for domination of this dimension, soon when the weapon is reconfigured I will be able to bring them forth and aid them in their quest. My nation will rise as the dominant power of this galaxy protected and shielded by the great fleet of the Shivans nothing will stop me."

"We have just past the half way point Admiral four days to go until we reach the weapon."

"No sir sensors pick up nothing, as usual. Admiral I must tell you that the crew are a little anxious being here in the void they are wanting to return to the galaxy as soon as possible."

"Commander I know thatl eaving the Galaxy for the construction site is a chalenge and that the crew are nervous however reassure them that once the Shivans are brought forth we will have nothing to fear ever again."

After hearing of our ally Imperial Brits plea for help, The Empire is sending troops to aid the military co-de-taut.

"We will help you anyway we can IB, just tell us where and how much you want, the Empire will bring it entire Imperial Army to bear on this unprising.

The uprising is not our concern, it is Admiral Bosch he has a large proportion of the fleet and is heading towards the construction site of our newest weapon the temporal incursion ship you must stop him.

What exactly does this weapon do?

The weapon was originaly designed to erase certain thing from the timeline such as nasty little empires, etc etc. However it can be done but this is not what Bosch is going to with it. He is going to open a rift between dimensions with the weapon, tear a hole in our current dimension to the shivan realm. and when that happens this dimension will be invaded by a fleet with unimaginable power. All those who have played freespace one and two will understand.

However once the rift is created the only way to close it is to destroy the temporal ship and in theory the rift should close. but you have to get near it first.

Down the hall from the launch pad, three hundred men, clad in crimson and pitch black, walk in step towards the waiting transport ships. Each of the eleven ships has a crudely painted with the TAM flag.

"GO GO GO!" screams a man with a AK74SU strapped to his back. He points the men towards the spaceships as they check and clear their weapons. Finally, two T-80 tanks back into two of the ships.

Carefully, the ships are lifted onto a railgun launcher. One by one, they fly into space at almost the speed of light, defying Einstien's law of relativity (OOC: Was it the TOR?).

The two ships were Blockade class HyperSpace Nullifiers, each was basicaly creating a 'hole' in hyperspace, which when passed through would simply cause a ship to be dumped into realspace.
The armada waited.

OOC: Hey guys do you mind if I join in?

IC: Liquidus lay down on his luxury bed, asleep. He'd been very active lately, with the Sentinel System Crisis and a few other things. He shifted his posistion, and quietly moaned. A few minutes later a loud 'beep' emitted from somewhere, and Liquidus groaned, almost awake.

A View-screen came out of the wall to face Liquidus, then a Lt.'s face came up. "Sir, this is Lt. Draxon, are you sleeping sir?" he asked. Liquidus rose out of his bed, his chest showing. He rubbed his eyes and yawned. "No Lt. I'm up, what is it?" Liquidus asked.

Strangely enough, when Liquidus is waking, he's very mild tempered, unlike himself when he is awake, when he'd scowl at someone for handing in their duty roster two seconds late.

The Lt. shifted posistion. " We have detected Bosch's fleet. Strangely enough sir, they're going to pass through this system within the hour. Shall I deploy our gravity ?" the Lt. asked. Liquidus got out of bed and stretched, the only clothing on him was a pair of boxers. "Yes Lt., but will they work? I mean, we use a completely different system, a system we got from the future mind you." he stated.

The Lt. grinned, "They will work sir. Apparently Gravity are best used against ships using hyperdrives than Vortex Portals. When should we detonate them?" he asked. Liquidus thought for a moment and said, "Set them to detonate 10 seconds before the first of Boschs' ships go past, that will pull them out nice and easy." Liquidus said. He walked over to his wardrobe and started to put on his usual Armour and Black Cape. "I'll meet you on deck within half the hour." Liquidus said. The Lieutenant nodded, and the View-Screen went back into the wall.

Liquidus ran onto the Bridge half an hour later, with sirens blaring all around him. He ran to the Lt. "What in blazes is going on Lt.!" Liquidus shouted. The Lt. was dwarfed by Liquidus' massive size. "The erm...fleet sir, is here..." he said, covering. He pointed to the view-screen. On it, many, many ships appeared. Liquidus has brought most of his fleets here, and they just matched the size Bosch's was. Liquidus ran down a ramp and sat in his command chair. Using the Pad next to him, he killed the sirens.

Everyone else ran to their command posts, and Liquidus keyed in a few commands. A few seconds later the Pad bleeped, and every Comm. frequency transmitted these words: "Admiral Bosch, this is Lord Liquidus Snake, of the systems held in the name of Outer Heaven Mark II. We demand an explaination for your trechery against one of our allies and what your Mission is now. If you do not reply within twenty seconds I will be forced to open fire."

Liquidus sat up straight, and awaited Bosch's reply...

Just as the Outer Heaven fleet was getting ready to have a showdown with the rogue Imperial Brits fleet, the Indra Prime Task Force dropped out of Temporal Hyperspace just outside the plane of the planetary system. All eighteen vessels of the IP eleventh fleet began bracing for a battle by arming all weapons and moving in to behind the OHmk2 fleet. The flagship Borealisopened up a channel to the commander of the fleet that was getting ready to engage the enemy.

"Attention allied vessels. This is the Indra Prime FlagshipBorealis. I am General Michael Robinson of the Indra Prime Eleventh Fleet. We have superior firepower and can use it once the battle begins to take place but we will need your fleet to do as much damaga as they can quickyl and then get the hell of of Dodge. Any vessels in the immediate vicinity can and will be destroyed by our primary weapon. If your ships are caught in the crossfire there is nothing we can or will do about it. It is out ultimate goal to make sure Admiral Bosch does not get his hands on the Temporal Incursion Weapon. If He does, he will be able to completely wreck the events of the last hundred thousand millenia, possibly events even further back in time. Our Temporal-Based primary weapon will be able to punch through his shields and basically "push" him out of our space/time continuum and scramble his molecular signature so he will not be able to rerturn. Please acknowledge and return our communique so we can coordinate our attack. Borealis standing by."

Liquidus replied with these words: "Acknowledged. But only attack on my signal. I wish to know what Bosch's ultimate agenda is first."

Robinson replied over subspace," I can tell you exactly what his intentions are. He wants to frell everything in the space/time continuum up, not to mention eliminate all the countries that stood up against Imperial Brits and their development of this weapon. However, this is your system and we will attack in force immediately when you signal us. Once again, Borealis standing by."

Imperial Ships had collected at the IB weapon, they didn't agree with the weapon and it reason for being but they sure as hell didn't want this rogue getting it...

"Capitan, the fleet is in postion"

"Hold Here. That Rogue fleet will be here soon..."

Bosch proceeded to the shuttle bay, "Set cordinates for the Achtar 2"

"The cordinates are set Admiral, good luck."Bosches shuttle left the mothership and proceeded to the planets surface with no care for the well fare of his fleet.

"Computer time until we reach the stargate."

"35 seconds"

"Good, Bosch to commander hatam."

"Yes Admiral take the fleet out and head fopr the weapon in the void between the galaxies draw off the enemy fleet."

The computer sounded within the shuttle, "we are in transportation range"

Bosch proceeded to dial the stargate, a plume of sheer energy erupted and Bosch proceeded through the event horizon.

Loacation- Temporal Weapon

"commander we have an incoming wormhole"

"Excellent it will be Admiral Bosch"

"As soon as he is through charge the temporal core and get ready to activate the primary ignitors."

"Yes Sir."

Admiral Bosch arrived through the stargate located in the cargo bay smiling as always.

"Are we almost ready commander."

"Admiral we will be ready to create the rift in 18 minutes."

"Good we better get to the bridge them shouldnt we."

"Admiral we do have enemy fleets approaching this position however they will arrive a minute too late. but may i remind you admiral the rift can be closed if this ship is destroyed."

"Our Shivan brothers will protect us have no fears commander"

A nearby star flames and sparks as 200 men in rocket jumpsuits speed toward Admiral Bosch's flagship.

"30 seconds to latch, sir," said the splinter commander.
"Rodger," said Raaves, "come out shooting."
"Yes, sir. Alright people! Listen up! This is gunna be just like we practiced. Shit!" A laser beam nearly cliipped his head. "Where's those energy launchers?"
"Right behind you's, sir," said a soldier.
"Well what the fu*k are you waiting for, jackass? Blow the lasers!"
"Can't sir's. They got a shield," said the now nervous soldier.
"DID YOU GO TO TRAINING CAMP?! GET INSIDE THE DAMN SHIELD!!"

The splinter commander hears a large explosion. He smiles as he activates his magnetic boots and clamps onto the remains of a turret.

"Found one, men! Go, go, go!"

Liquidus raised an eyebrow. He turned to the Lt. beside him. "Lt., I believe Bosch was rather rude then. Have you managed to trace him yet?" he asked. The Lt. looked up, "Aye sir. I'm guessing you'll want to be portaled to his posistion." Liquidus ed his eyebrow, "Good guess Lt., Portal me when ready, and make sure you portal weapons with me..." He said. The Lt. nodded. Within a few seconds a blue streak appeared down Liquidus' body, and started to rip open, it absorbed him...

...and unabsorbed him right behind Bosch. Liquidus felt hsi weapons materialise under his cape, and grinned. "Bosch, tell me now, who are these Shivans!" he nearly shouted.

Suddenly, Liquidus heard a gunshot. Then two. Then the whole ship erupted in a firefight, lasers and lead. Overhead, a vent slowly opened. A grenade dropped into the room.

"HIT THE DECK!!" screamed Bosch. Five men wearing gas masks and holding AK74SUs and one with a gas mask and RPK dropped out of the vent, using their thrusters to break the fall. The grenade slowly emitted a greenish gas. Each man on the deck slowly dropped to the floor except Liquidus, for some reason. Instantly, the gattling turrets in the command room came alive. The steel core projectiles bounced off the mens' space armour. The trooper with the RPK fired his frag rounds into the turrets, screwing the circuts.

"Sir, you had better get outof here," said one of the troopers. "In about an hour, this place is gunna be space junk." A voice crackled over his helmet.

"Sir, we set the charges on the power core."

"Good. One hour."

"Yes sir. Over and out."

Liquidus just stood there breathing. While this was possible normally people lost consciousness. But Liquidus didn't, the nanites he had in him protected him from the gas. "Bosch..." Liquidus started to say, he turned, got out a Titan.AE 42-K6A Heavy Gattling Rifle, and turned, pointing it at everyone. "You're going to tell me what you know of the Shivans, and why you want to help them."

Bosch is already at the weapon sorry. he kinda left through a stargate.

"Commander status of the core."

"Power levels at 99% and stable sir."

"Good activate the emmitters, prepare to open the rift."

The temporal core hummed throughout the ship, Chronotom particles flooded through the emiiters and fired from each one hitting an exact point in space. The resulting implosion ripped a hole in subspace and the fabric of the dimensional wall.

"Sir we have established the rift"

"Send a communication through ask the Shivans to join us, And commander have conventional weapons on standby we may need them when a fleet of enemy ships appears."


"Sir look."

The admiral stared blankly at the view screen as the virst Shivan vessel came through the rift.

IC: Liquidus' jaw nearly dropped at the sight of the Shivan ship. "Holy Mother of God..." he uttered. He grabbed Bosch by the scruf and pulled him close to his face. "What have you done dammit!" he shouted.

With a sudden burst of multidimensional light, Three Indra Prime Battle Groups suddenly appeared out of Temporal Hyperspace around the location of the weapon and the newly formed interspatial rift that had just been formed. The Battle Fleet, numbering a total number of sixty three vessels including three [/i]Phaeralon[/i] Class flagships, targeted the newly arrived vessel that had apeeared out of the rift and also the weapon that had created this temprospatial rift. The vessels rearranged themselves to allow a claer shot from the three primary weapons ports that were sported by the Phaeralon Class vessels. As soon as the fleet was in position, a subspace channel was opened between the lead vessel of the Indra Prime Fleet and the vessel with Admiral Bosch.

" Attention Imperial Brits Admiral Bosch, this is General Steven Tellin of the Indra Prime Battle Group Ticonderoga. You are ordered to stand down the Temporal Incursion Weapon and to close the rift that has just been opened or we will be forced to not only close the rift for you, but to destroy any vessel that comes through the rift. You are further ordered to stand down and surrender yourself to our custody for violating the Temporal Accord. You have sixty seconds to comply with this demand or I will give the order to have your vessel and this new ship destroyed immediately. To prove my point...."

Suddenly the Iris like shield protecting the emitter of the Temporal Displacement Disruptor on the Phaeralon vessels slowly and majestically opened up revealing a glowing emitter that was producing a brillant cerulean blue light along with incredible amounts of temporal potential energies. The energy being emitted by the device began to grow at an exponential rate, so far that the total amount of energy could not be recorded on a device that was not properly tuned for this kind of energy output.

"The three vessels you are facing are more than enough to send your ship int othe nether region of the space/time continuum multiverse, but we will also instruct the rest of out fleet to open fire on your precious ally's vessel and also the weapon. You face certain destuction of you do not comply. The time for negotiating is over. You now have 60 seconds to comply. 59....58....57....."


As the countdown began is irresistable tick toward zero, all Indra Prime vessels armed their weapons in anticipation of the upcoming attack which seemed to be inevitable.

Liquidus dropped Bosch after hearing about why he was doing this. He ran over to the enarest console and opened up a Comm. Channel to the Indra Prime battle groups. he took a deep breath, and said:

"General Steven Tellin, this is Lord Liquidus Snake of Outer Heaven Mark II! Open fire IMMEDIATELY! An entire Galaxies worth of ships are about to come through! These Shivans have taken over countless Galaxies! FIRE UPON US NOW! I REPEAT, THERE IS NO TIME, OPEN FIRE IMMEDIATELY!" he nearly screamed down the Comm., he turned it off, and turned to Bosch. "You were a fool..." he said. With that, he got out two rifles, one in each hand, and started to fire at Bosch...

I'm afraid, (I'm not brits, but I know what he's on about.) that even if you destroy the ship, and the rift closes, it will not stop them. They don't need that rift. They make their own. They just needed to know that the rift in question would take them there. Bosches ship is now irrelevant. Should only be a few more seconds until the armada comes through.

As the first trigger was pulled the enemy officer was sure of the Admirals death, however the bridge suddenly filled with a red light seering at the eyes of all in the room Bosch was gone most likely taken onto the SJ Sathanas. We will never know for sure. The resulting sounds of weapons fire brought armed security personel into the bride via ring transport. The intrudor was subsequently dealt with.

Meanwhile on the battle bridge of the temporal incusion ship.

"Sir we are recieving fire."

"Fire all conventional weapons fire at will."

The commander of the ship looked blankly at the shivan capital ship explosions were ripping at its hull until the 42 beam cannons opened fire on the enemy ships.

Large pices of hull were scatering throughout the area the red weapons of the shivans could be seen against the black of space.

"Sir we have damage to the primary hull the core is safe. We are still in temporal flux so many weapons are just passing through us but we are still being hit. The shields are at 89% and holding but just."

"Order all nonessential presonel to leave through the stargate."

"Sir they cant, not while we are in a state of flux."

"Fine have every man at their battlestations, we only have enough power for 34 minutes of temporal flux. Lets hope the Shivans can push the enemy back."

Despite what information we've been able to obtain, Shivans still remain, on many levels, an enigma. Their origin and their destination remain unknown. While many have offered up possible explanations as to why the Shivans seem focused on the destruction of all other sentient species, we still do not know why they seem bent on total xenocide.

Shivans have multiple eyes, some of which seem to have the function of compound eyes, not unlike some varieties of insects. Shivans also have five legs, and can run equally well over a floor or over a ceiling. It has been hypothesized that Shivans may have spent their evolutionary process in a zero-gravity environment. Each Shivan leg ends in a very strong claw, capable of crushing even the sturdiest of known alloys. Parts of their thorax seem to act as compartments, such as ones that might be found on a space suit. It has been suggested that what we have actually seen have been either robots or organic creatures in some sort of exo-skeleton. However, we have, at present, no reason to support either hypothesis. Most likely, we will not learn anything more about the Shivan species until we have actually captured and studied a Shivan.

You may try to board the ship. A word of warning. Don't bother. The main guns you see there are integrated into your standard Shivan (smaller, admittedly.) They have repelled any boarding party ever sent to them.
And notice what is just around the sun.... There are a few of them.

"FUCK!" said the commander. "What the hell did you just do??!!" He screamed into his radio, "GET OUT OF HERE! NOW! GET OUT!"

He took his pistol out and leveled it at Liquidus. "I don't know how you got here, or who the hell these Shivians are... but my superiors have labeled you as a threat. If you had fallen unconscious, we would have taken you back to the US for questioning. But that is not the case. I'm afraid I must eliminate you now."

He cocked his pistol and fired. Every single man from TAM got off the ship and back into space.

But Luminous wasn't dead yet...

Liquidus dodged, found some cover and fired back. "I'm no threat!" Liquidus shouted, "Bosch is going to kill us all! He's abandoned you! The Shivans just saved him from me!", he reloaded his guns. "I will go peacefully! I know what's gonna happen damnit! I've seen what Bosch has seen!" he shouted. He waited for the Commanders response.

Admiral Bosch rematerialized inside only what can be described as a perspex cage. He peered outside of it but all he could see was a dark green atmosphere. He sat down on a wooden stool that had obviously been provided for him and waited to meet his masters. All of a sudden Bosch was overcome by the telepathy of the commanding Shivan.

"Bosch, you have done well. Soon this Galaxy and ultimately this dimension will fall to us. You will help us in our campaign you will assist us in tactics and ultimately the whole war as we are unfamiliar with the enemy races."

Bosch taken back by the strength and power of the Shivan's telepathy shook off his fear. "I am yours to command master."

The Shivan SJ Sathanas the first ship that the Ns universe had encountered powered up its engines, the enemy fire from the remaining fleets almost crippled the juggernaught but thankfully it managed to slip into subspace.

"What are we going to do" Bosch asked talking to no one in particular.

"We." The commanding Shivan responded "are going to eradicate all resisting life in this galaxy. Empires will join us or they will fall."

"But how you are only one ship, they have many."

"Now that we have the specific frequency of this dimension an alternate rift will be opened in the galactic core, the invasion fleet will come through that rift while most of the defending fleets are too busy blockading the rift in the void. They will be taken unawares and be destroyed."

"What do you mean you've seen what he's seen?" said the commander, rattling off a few rounds. "He's a traitor to an ally of ours! I think they're an ally at least! The up-and-up told me to kill you or capture you! I don't have a choice! Just come over here without a gun leveled at us! We won't shoot if you don't!" At that, he threw his AK-74SU into the air. It landed front of the comm panel behind which he was hiding.

Liquidus shouted one last thing: "The Shivans are telepaths god dammit!They contacted me through my dreams, like Bosch. They want ME as well! The Shivans will destroy every lifeform in this dimension! I've seen it! Dammit, secure me in the Brig...that way you'll be safer.", and with that, Liquidus threw his weapons down (keeping a handgun concealed in a hidden holster in case of trechery), and walked out from his cover.

We walked a few paces and stopped. "I sugest the moment I get taken away from the Brig you fly away from here as quickly as possible, a huge Armada will come within the hour..." he added.

Liqidus' words rang in Raaves' ears. F---. This can't be happening. His friends. His neighbors. His wife, Shannon. His daughter. No. No!
"Secure him," said Raaves. "And bring him to the ship. You got a jetpack? Here. Take mine. Jones! Hook me onto your pack."

Raaves secured Liquidus with the plasma cuffs (which sink into the skin of the persons wearing them to maximize security), and flew them back to the ship. Liquidus was escorted to a not-really-a-cell-but-kind-of-like-a-hotel-room-y holding area.

Interrogation...

The rift flickered nothing could be seen on the viewscreen.

"Science officer zoom in on the rift, I think I see a little movement magnify by fifty."

"Aye Aye commander."

The viewscreen flickered as the resolution was adjusted. "My god, look at them."

Thousands of Shivan fighters were pouring out of the rift heading for the remanants of the enemy fleet.
All on the bridge stood shocked until a vast explosion of light hit the screen, the rift just increased in size by twenty times the Shivan fleet had arrived. Destroyers Super capital ships thousands of fighters poured out of the rift. The commander looked at his subordinates in horror.

"My God what have we done."

IC: Liquidus sat in the Brig. Bosch had made it out, and for all he knew, the Galaxy was doomed.

A year ago, Liqudius dreamed of a huge battle fleet coming through a rift, one that will wipe out anything living. He saw people dying, thousands of ships swarming over cities, planets...

Liquidus had also seen Bosch in his dream, standing next to his Shivan masters. He'd seen the grinning on his face, the Shivans themselves, for christs sake! He then saw Earth blow up in a huge ball of flame and plasma, and all of his people slaughtered...

Then, without warning, the searing light appeared in the brig, blinding all those nearby. Liquidus was gone when the light had gone, taken to the SJ Sathanas. Liquidus didn't know it, but he had been chosen, like Bosch. They had WARNED him. But Why?

Liquidus appeared next to Bosch in the...Perspex Cage.

The door to Liquidus' former quarters opened.

"Hello, my name is- what the hell?"

Sargeant First Class Mika slammed his fist down on the alarm intercom button. "He's gone! The prisoner escaped!!"

Bosch looked at Luiqudis.

"You are most likely wondering why you are here? What is the purpose of you being in this very location well, i'll tell you. you are to provide us information on your home planets fleet tactical capabilities. A person from every civilisation has been chosen you will give them what they want or you will die."

A shivan entered the cage from a airlock peering into the skull of Luiqudis reading his mind.

"Just give in surrender to them they are your masters. It is the only way."

"Argh!" Liqudus grunted. He pushed away from the Shivan. "I will not give in unless they promise me something Bosch. I want my Empire to go on. Dammit, it's MINE! Why the hell have you done this!" he shouted. "Go on! Talk to them! And also Bosch, I've seen what you've seen. I'm here for similar reason you are!" he shouted. He stood in front of the Shivan. "GO on Bosch, tell them for me." he said.

"Ah, but that is where you are wrong Liqudus you recieved visions in order for the Shivans to track you down so they can gather information on the technical capabilities and military capabilites of your empire. However I will relay this to them."

Bosch spent a few moments with his eyes closed he then opened them.

"They have decided that if your empire joins the Shivan cause you will be allowed to survive, however they have 1 stipulation. Earth must be destroyed. They believe it will be the centre of all terran resistance, an example must be made and iam afraid i agree. However once Earth is destroyed the Shivans will welcome your Empire to our cause."

Bosch smirked and then proceeded to get into a suit to allow him to travel outside the box.

"You have one hour to considder the offer, I am very sorry but the Shivans have already decided on Earths destruction."

"Ah, but that is where you are wrong Liqudus you recieved visions in order for the Shivans to track you down so they can gather information on the technical capabilities and military capabilites of your empire. However I will relay this to them."

Bosch spent a few moments with his eyes closed he then opened them.

"They have decided that if your empire joins the Shivan cause you will be allowed to survive, however they have 1 stipulation. Earth must be destroyed. They believe it will be the centre of all terran resistance, an example must be made and iam afraid i agree. However once Earth is destroyed the Shivans will welcome your Empire to our cause."

Bosch smirked and then proceeded to get into a suit to allow him to travel outside the box.

With the recent turn of event already taking place, General Tellin decied there was only one course of action to take, so he took it. He turned to the communications officer.

"Lieutenant, open up secure Emergency Fleet Comm channel Alpha six three nine Omega."

"Comm Channel open and secure."

"Fleet Command, this is General Steven Tellin of the Battle Group Ticonderoga. Me Security clearance is Delta Delta Five Seven Three Omega Six Omega. Authorization Level 12. We are issuing a fleetwide combat alert status, condition black. There has been a temporal incursion into this dimensional fold by agressors of unknown origin. Agressors being assisted by rogue Imperial Brits Admiral Bosch. We are ordering all combat vessels back to spacedocks to rearm all vessels with Gravimetric Singularity Torpedoes and Quantum Matrix Torpedoes. All vessels are being ordered to rendevous in sector Rho 228, the location where the main Invasion Force is destined to pass through. Battle Group Ticonderoga will remain at this location until the initial enemy threat has been resolved or until the point where we have sustained moderate damage to the fleet and cannot sustain battle conditions. We are sending another message to the nations involved in this conflict to send vessels not involved now to sector 228 to help prepare to repel invaders. Fleet must be in place within twelve hours. Secure transmission ends now."

As soon as the secure communication channel was closed another opened up almost immediately. This one however, was directed to all the vessels allied in intent against the invading enemies.

"Attention this is General Steven Tellin of the Indra Prime Battle Group Ticonderoga. We are prepared to fight against the entire invasion force in Sector Rho 228 but we need as many vessels as possible to support us in that sector. Contact your governments and tell them to fully arm your other vessels and have them meet our battle fleets in that sector. We will engage the enemy here first and then wipe them from this plane of existance. Acknowledge our communique and attack the enemy here and now. Battle Group Ticonderoga out."

As soon as the Channel was closed, he gave the final order to the Battle Group. He said to himself,"God help us."

"All ships, open fire on the weapon and the enemy.I repeat, OPEN FIRE. Destroy them all."

Almost instantly every one of the Indra Prime Vessels opened fire on the enemy and began to demolish their fighting capacity. The three Phaeralon class warships charged their primary Temporal Displacement Disruptors and targeted the vessels of the enemy. The three vessels fired their primary weapons and almost instantly "pushed" the three vessels targeted out of our space/time continuum never to return again. The sixty other Indra Prime Vessels fired constantly, wildly, firing barrage after barrage into the enemy fleet. With all the vessels constantly targeting other vessels, it was still unsure whether they would be able to eliminate them completely.

"Holy mother of God, sir," said a AMBSDS technician, "look at this. Thousands of comms in IB territory. Thousands."

King Micheal stepped away from the tactical operations table to look at the technician's screen. "Her Highness Rachel Romalia..." he said. "a temporal rift. I knew it."

"What should we do, sir?" said General Hajj.

"I want every single nuclear missle in this damn country armed and aimed at that rift."

"Megaton setting, sir?"

"30."

"Yes sir," now the general was scared. Another galactic war.

Deep in the mountains of TBD, five hundred doors opened as they released their deadly cargo into space. The TBD flag was emblazoned on the side of each, along with random graffiti.

"And get me a line to Joseph Burns. Secure," said the King. "we have a lot to discuss."

The toughest ship in the Shivan fleet. With it's 4 front BFreds, it can easily decimate any ship in front of it in seconds. However, like the Ravana, it's weakness lies in the fact that all of it's beams are in the front. If a cap-ship jumps in behind it, the Sathanas will be a sitting duck.

The Shivan expeditionary force came under a hail of fire from the first volley two cain class cruisers sustained heave damage while a Rakasha class destroyer was destroyed. The second Sathanas through the rift targeted the Indra command vessel firing all of its beam cannons.
Beams of red light shone through the other side of the hull releasing oxygen and matter into the void of space.

Fighters and bombers dodged the weapons of the Capital Ships easily enough, launching their payload of weapons at the capital ships. Many fighters lost the struggle at the defences but plenty survived.

Bosch got up and proceeded to the lead commanding Shivan. “How is the battle going.”
“Well enough. Our losses are dire however that is only a diversion, the second rift will open any time soon and the worlds of the galactic core will tremble and die.”

“But I thought we were going to destroy earth.”

“We are but in time, first we must take out the real threats.”


Meanwhile at the battle the commander of the temporal incursion weapon could only stare in amazement.

A scout vessel just happened to patrol along the outer rim of the galaxy and detected the rift. It was travelling through B-space to avoid detection.

The Invasion fleet was preparing to move out while the pride of the Indra fleet was being destroyed the Shivans were preparing a full scale invasion of the inner core worlds.

On the screen on the wall an armada so large that all you could see was ships into the distance nothing but red ships going on and on and on.

As the scout neared the anomaly it detected the 2 warring fleets. It quickly identified one of the species as human but could not identify the other one.

Liquidus walked onto the Bridge. Seeing Bosch next to the viewscreen he went over. When Liquidus was right next to Bosch, he looked out of the viewscreen, near gobsmacked. He lent over to Bosch and whispered these words: "My god man, look what you've done!" he paused, "Do you not see what you have done? You've doomed every living inhabitant in this Galaxy! And only to save your own hide. Even I am not that evil. You have no honour, and I will slay you for this. Maybe if the Shivans win, maybe if me and my allies win, but Bosch hear me now, you will die!" he finished. He nodded to a Shivan, and walked back to his quarters.

Five million kilometers away from the raging battle, space and time distorted; a precurser lasting an incalculibly small fraction of an instant. And then it was there, the thirteen kilometer long bulk of the Tunguska-class Battleplate KHGV Jagged Razor of Methodical Dismemberment apearing an a blurred, unobservible half-moment; cataclysmic energies running through her powered shields and planet-rending weaponry as if leashed demons, restless and eager to feast upon the souls of mortal flesh. Shivan flesh.

Instantly, a wall of graviticly folded space-time - a mirror forged from reality itself - interposed itself along the facing 90 degree arc; FTL inhibitor fields rapidly blooseming outward to their fully extended 10 lightminute(180 million kilometer) radius at half the speed of light. No more of the enemy would be escaping into subspace.

5 million kilometers, however, was well beyond even a Kanuckistani vessel's effective energy weapons range - 5 ligtseconds or 1.5 million kilometers for the curious - Admiral Hayes deciding it best to test this new enemy at extended range befor risking a closer confrontation. Thus, two thirds of the fleet-killer's missile tubes opened up upon the enemy; 288 inertial launchers spewing intermediate range - for that was easily what Kanuckistan considered these distances - missiles in a sustained hail of C-fractional death.

You're getting a nice spread of payloads here; laser-heads(they'll detonate at 20'000km out and hit you with a bomb-pumped X-ray laser), and proximity warheads, ranging from 250 to 1000 megatons; prominity warheads will go after cap ships and groups of fighters. A tenth of the missiles will be carrying nothing but sensor-blinding ECM and drone launchers to cover their lethal brethern. And there'll be a few anti-formation warheads mixxed in for good measure, in the double-diget gigaton range.

All my warheads are direct matter-energy conversion bombs, if you're wondering, and missiles use my reactionless inertial direct-drive; they're disturbingly fast and maneuverible, but rather expensive.

OOC: A little about my ship. Its a sphere of 300m in diameter and completely grey without any markers. Scanning the entirior is useless due to radiation and the fact that it seems as if the structures within the ship are moving and changing all the time. It's shields are not on at the moment and they wont go up untill you attack.

The Shivan temporal node charged fluctuating time and space four red beams ripped out from its emitters triangulating on a point in their dimension. A sheer wall of light was produced, preventing all from observing the current process. A rift of pure energy and spce had appeared like a mirror however on the other side there could be seen the humans dimension. The rift began to expand almost instantaneously reaching a size of 8000km in radius. The Shivan fleet began to mobilize.

Battle in the Void.

The SJ sathanas was crippled Shields were down all but four beam turrets had been knocked out. Hull breeches had been ripped accross almost all of the outer hull decks. The order was given from the home dimension to die. The Sj sathanas detonated itself by overloading the power core in the heart of the ship, the resulting explosion radiated a wall of energy and shrapnel around the battle site. The remaining Cain class cruisers and fighters set a collision course for the enemy battleships, this skirmish had been lost.

A science officer monitering subspace jumped in shock. "Commander we have a major problem"

"It can be only one thing another rift, Sir its in the Galactic core there only a few light years from the home planet."

"Comm open a channel to the lead Indra vessel. This is the commanding officer of the IBS Temporal. captain iam afraid to tell you that my science officer has detected a huge temporal rift being opened in the galactic core I'am sure you must have detected something the energy spikes are huge. The Shivans are now near inhabited systems. Iam taking this vessel the my home system to rally a fleet we must stop them before they destroy all life in this galaxy."

Admirals Log; "This rodent Liquidus is starting to get on my nerves, i'a tempted to ask the Shivan commander to throw him out of an air lock but well he is the only human on board and the only person I can commnicate with I suppose i need him, for now."

The SJ Sathanas that held Bosch was proceeding in sub space until he felt a jolt. "Were out of subspace he said to himself." Bosch made his way to the command deck where the only view port was located. He saw what he dreamed of a fleet consisting of thousands of vessels swarming around the rift. "Soon it will be time to eradicate everything he smirked to himself, everything."

Actually, the SJ Sathanas is pretty much invincible, especially when there is more than one, to any type of missile. Simply because it shoots them down with Flak cannons, and launches intercept fighters to deal with them.

Liquidus paced about in his quarters, trying to get a grip. He'd surrendered his Empire, had the tactical information on his Empire sucked out of his skull, and Bosch. 'Man, Bosch is a selfish ...' he thought to himself. He then decided something: To talk to him and try and find out WHY he did this. So Liquidus set out to Bosch's quarters.

The firefight between the Indra Prime Vessels and the Shivans was not going well. With every vessel destroyed by the pride of Indra Prime's Fleet, the Phaeralon class vessels three more vessels poured through the rift. On the bridge of the command Phaeralon Vessel, Aurora things were in complete disarray. Virtually every system was damaged or destroyed. But despite the damage caused by the enemy the Aurora fought valiantly against incredible odds. General Steven Tellin pulled himself off the deck after a barrage of enemy fire rocked the vessel and threw him out of his command chair. With bulkheads collapsing all around the bridge and sparks flying from every console he called for a damage report.

"Report!"

Another barrage hit the vessel but this time Tellin managed to remain in his chair. The only senior officer left, Lieutenant Maxwell did what she could to answer his order.

"Sir, we have suffered heavy damage to both the primary and secondary hulls, multiphasic shields are at minimal sustainable strengh, sickbay reports more than half the crew is dead, all subsidiary fighters have depleted their weapons systems and using their craft as last resort kamikaze maneuvers. The temporal impellors have sustained damage and we cannot reenter hyperspace to retreat, life support is at minimal effeciency and the only thing really protecting us right now is our primary weapon and our Ablative Armor which are both almost gone."

General Tellin never thought that it would come to this; the pride of the Indra Prime Fleet nearly destroyed by an enemy. Never in 200 years had this happened, a flagship destroyed by an enemy. He wasnt about to change that record, at least not at the hands of the enemy. If the Aurora was to be destroyed, it would go out in style. With that decision made, he gave his final orders.

"Lieutenant, open an emergency channel to whats left of the Fleet."

Another barrage hit the vessel and there was an explosion at the rear upper console of the bridge. The shrapnel from the station flew through the air and sliced through the General's upper arm causing a substantial blood flow come from his body. He reached up and staunched what he could of the blood flow from his arm by placing his hand over the ghastly wound. He grunted through the pain to finish his tenure as ships commander.

"Attention All Vessels! This is Tellin on the Aurora. pull back from the temporal rift and the weapon. We are setting a course for the rift and we will destroy the rift and weapon as the final act of the Vessel Aurora. We are transmitting our logs and crew reports to all vessels so at least one copy of this battle will be on record for the Senior Directorate. Never stop fighting! Aurora signing off. God speed!"

Just after communications ended, the entire front bulkhead exploded. A severly injured Lieutenant Maxwell pulled herself painfully back up to her duty station to inform the General of the damage.

"Sir, we just lost our primary weapon, we cannot fire it again, the emitters have been destroyed."

With the dignity of a dying hero, General Steven Tellin sat is military posture in his command chair, ignoring the wounds he had recieved and gave his orders.

"Lieutenant, set a course for the rift. Once on the threshold, force a feedback loop into the Temporal Impellors and the MAMRAs. The resulting Temporal Explosion will destroy everything in a 1/10 lightyear radius."

"Aye Sir, setting course"

"Lieutenant it has been a pleasure serving with you."

"Yessir. It was a pleasure."

"Engage."


The once mighty flagship of Indra Prime began to majestically move with what strength remained within her. With her once pristine hull now covered in deep gouges and scorch marks so made her way with ever increasing speed into her final resting place. The remaining Phaeralon class vessels, who had fared better than the Aurora did fled the area with full knowledge that the enemy vessels would be destroyed along with themselves if they didn't get away fast enough. The remaining 27 Indra Prime vessels fled, because theis survival depended on speed right now. All sensors from every vessel in the area were trained on the Aurora and the sacrificial plunge she was taking to help protect the galaxy. Every vessel watched on, as she entered the temporal rift's very event horzion and a blinding blue white flash of the temporal explosion was recorded by every sensor before they were knowcked out by the extreme energy released by the overload of the Temporal core. The shockwave from the massive explosion destroyed every vessel in the 1/10 lightyear radius which included all the Shivan but the few Shivan Fighters that were outside the blast radius. When sensors came back online for the remaining vessels, they discovered that the Temporal Weapon and the Temporal Rift had both been destroyed along with the enemy vessels. Slowly, intership communication began to pick back up but with the extreme damage to the fabric of space/time in that sector long range communication was impossible.

Silence followed the aftermath of the Indra sacrafice. The Shivan expedition fleet stopped in its track, destroyed except for a few fighters. This was a glorious day for the NS galaxy the Shivans could be defeated but at what cost?

Galactic core.

The Shivan fleet swarmed around the rift, the ammount of capital ships present made them look like fighters. seventeen Rakasha class destroyers began to move out heading for a pre-warp system. The Vasudan system.

"Time until we exit subspace."

The crusiers exited subspace inside a smallgas cloud within the Vasudan system.

"I am detecting a small craft bearing aft of the ship, shall i destroy it."

If the commanding Shivan could look suprised he would have, no one in their right mind would follow a Shivan fleet in one vessel.

One beam cannon from the most aft ship fired eradicating the ship from existance.

THe Shivan fleet orbitted the planet each ship covering a continent. The blining lights of electricity indicating civilisation could be see from orbit, but could the Shivansbe seen from the ground. Once all the ships were in position the commander of the fleet issued an order.

"Fire at will."

The weapons of the fleet lept to life cutting deep into the core of the planet. Entire countries were destroyed within the first volley however the bombardment would last for some hours yet.

Emperor Tyranus of Imperial Brits addressing the Senate.

"My subjects, my people. Today we face a threat never before seen to our existance I must tell you now that what you are about to here will not please you. In fact it will disturb and worry youuntil this crisis is averted. Under the command of former Admiral Aken Bosch the imperial fleet opened a rift between dimensions allowing a new race to descend upon this galaxy. This was a brave but misguided act. Bosch believed that the Shivans would aid our empire against our enemies, bring us new technology, weapons and ships however this is not the case. As from 0800 hours this morning central time a second temporal rift was opened in the galactic core."

A giant roar of conversation and worry followed as the home system was located on the fringes of the core.

"Friends please allow me to finish there will be plenty of time to discuss this threat later. This second rift is at least two thousand times larger than the first one, all attempts at engaging the Shivans have met with defeat or crippling losses amoungst other empires. That is why to deal with this continuing threat I am assuming emergancy powers over the senate.
As my fist act I am ordering the fleet to leave the homesystem and join the build up of alliace vessels in system Rho 228 that is where the hammer stroke will fall. We believe that the Shivans are attempting to destroy the Sol system first and to reach it they must pass through that system. That is all."

The emperor left the pondium guarded by the imperial guard. All within the senate stood and bowed then when the emporer left a great wail of worry wrrupted from the senate.

"We have lost scout 45 but it was species 2866 that closed the gap."
"And the rift in the galactic core?"
"Stable and the area species 2867 controls is growing."
"The jump gate is ready, now we must decide were to send our fleet."
"Option 1: send it directly to the rift and then seal it."
"Option 2: send the fleet to system 2-87590, known to species 2866 as Rho 228, and assist them."
"Both hold danger. Alone our fleet may not be able to reach the rift. Enlisting the help of species 2866 means that they will learn about us. That would endanger our long term plan."
"Species 2867 is the larger threat, it must be eradicated. We will send our fleet to system 2-87590 and let species 2866 assist us."

The fleet comprised out of 150 war vessels and 300 scouts. It neared the jump gate that was positioned between the sun and the largest planet in the system. It would launch them to where they needed to go but getting back would take a long time. The gate activated with streaks of blue and green energy enveloping the gate. One by one the vessels entered the gate and where then accelerated to speeds they would not have been able to attain on their own. Within an hour the entire fleet had left the system.

"Ahh liqudus good good glad you came in, please sit down. Well I have a suprise for you, look man look at the screen. A lagre viewscreen descended from the roof of Bosches quaters on it the Shivan fleet appeared. Look at them, magnificent. Soon Shivan domination of this galaxy will be complete and then they will proceed on to the next galaxy and the next until we have complete domination. Ahh I see what your looking at your staring at the lucifer are you not."

The Shivan entered through the airlock his eye beam cannon charged and with that last message Bosch had Liqudus decintagrated.
Bosch turned towards the Shivan, "How long until the fleet is under way."
"One day."
"Good, have you chosen your target yet."

Bosch the Shivan representative for this galaxy looked at the incoming communication. "Arnt they the people who tried to nuke one of our fleets Liqudus." Bosch stared at the head now nicely situated on a pole. They had their chance for safety but they refused, It must be made clear either you surrender at the start or nothing at all. The admiral once again looked out the window at a most impressive site. Two SD Sathanas class warships passed by the window.

ooc Send a fleet to join Indra prime in sector Rho 228 thats where the huge battle is going to take place.

"No prob," said Kingsly, turning off the vmail. "I want a full escort force and our space carrier fleet. And start bugging them on the way there. EMP attacks on the cannons, disabling them, strafing runs, the works. And tell Burns to run some more kamikaze-whatevers into the ship. Near the engines."

"Sir, those warships are invincible."

Kingsly smiled. He remembered when he was a kid, he played an online roleplaying game called NationStates. "That's a godmod, man. A godmod," still smiling.

All pointing their sexy payloads directly into the SJ Sanathas' engines. I love destruction. If I am correct, the Death Star can destroy an entire planet. Three of them will disinigrate the Sun. So those plus the other couple million ships should blow the hell off of your ships.

Where are the mainland IB ships?

General Jonathan Trellan looked out the viewport at the multidimensional color that couldn't be adequately described on the observation deck of the Indra Prime Flagship Phaeralon. Since the Phaeralon was the first of her name, and also the most powerful vessel to date in the Indra Prime Fleet she was named the command and control center that would coordinate the upcoming conflict between them and the Shivans. He stared out into hyperspace contemplating what was about to happen and saw the other vessels of his Fleet keeping up with the Phaeralon, all streaking to the final conflict point, Sector Rho 228. Since the return of the Phaeralon and the fleet that was initiating first contact with another nation, Things were going as fast as they could to make sure that they were able to head off the enemy before reaching Earth. When he recieved word from Battle Group Ticonderoga about the destruction of 45 vessels in the initial conflict with this new enemy, He knew that the only way to stop this enemy would be to not only beat them back but defeat them in their own terrotory. If they were victorious this day in battle, they would go through the rift, the entire fleet and destroy the homeworld of which the attack originated. He was brought out of his reverie by a comm signal.

"General Trellan please come to the Bridge."

Jonathan Trellan responded immediately. "I'm on my way."


As the General stepped out onto the bridge of his command ship, he quickly took notice of all stations and their operating status. Satisfied, he walked down to the command chair and sat down and activated the main holographic viewscreen. The display immediately faded into view and showed the location of the Four Hundred and seventy three vessels in their immediate position in the Galaxy. They were almost there.

"Colonel Capshaw, send a message to the Fleet. we have arrived at Sector Rho 228. Disengage all Engines and prepare all vessels for attack."

Sector Rho 228


Everything seemed just about normal in this sector of space where nebular gasses and cometary debris floated on their paths that were set many eons ago. There were absolutely no signs of the fact that in a short time, there would be more than 2000 ships ready for battle in that tiny region of space. And tiny it was. for more than 10,000 lightyears in all directions a barrier consisting of a radioactive nebula and dangerous gravitational anomalies that would destroy any vessel that entered it. Sector Rho 228 made the perfect natural bottleneck to help prevent the enemy from getting through to Earth if it was well defended. Sector 228 itself, was merely six lightyears across but was the only passage through the nebular cloud that made that region impassible. Suddenly, a bright flash eminated from a small region of space and appeared to grow in size and intensity. One after another, Battle Groups from the civilization of Indra Prime dropped out of Hyperspace and began to set themselves up in positions that would be able to do the most damage to the enemy vessels while maintaining their own secure positions. The smaller vessels were the first to exit from Temporal Hyperspace such as the Fighters, Corvettes and Destroyers. As they kept coming through the vessels got larger. Soon the Battle Cruisers, Battle Carriers, and Dreadnaughts came though. And then Finally, the vessels that would do the most damage came through, the ones that were the pride and joy of the Indra Prime Fleet, The Phaeralon Class Warships. Fifteen flagships in all, including the Phaeralon herself, exited hyperspace and positioned themselves in the most lucrative positions that would be able to do the most damage to the enemy fleet when it arrived. Sentry vessels and Sensor platforms were deployed so the Fleet would be able to monitor the Space/Time Continuum and be able to monitor the status of the enemy fleet. In total, 473 vessels had been pulled from other duty assignments to help protect the homeworld of humanity. All had been rearmed in a short timeframe with the most advanced Temporal Weapons that had been developed at the Temporal Research Institute back on the homeworld. 473 commanders of vessels all, in good maritime tradition, walked their vessels talking with their crews, checking ship's systems, and verified that their vessel was ready for battle. As their crews were feeling tense and nervous about the approaching battle, the commanders did as well. They all waited for the Dawn.

IC: On the Bridge, a Shivan dedicated to Liquidus felt something. Bosch. It didn't like Bosch one bit, and it admired Liquidus' ingenuity. Then, it sensed Liquidus was in danger. As it felt the Shivan come into Boschs' Quarters and charge it's eye cannon, the Shivan teleported him to the bridge. Luckily, it looked like the Shivan had hit Liquidus. The Shivan went over to a nearby console. The crew obviously didn't like this. At the last second, Liquidus was teleported somewhere and the SHivan got hit...

...and came out of Teleportation right infront of Kingsly. As Liquidus got his bearings he was happier than ever to be with any human at all. Then the Martyrs weren't blinded any longer...

Rho 228, 12 million kilometers from the Indra fleet's rallying point; an imperceptibly breif sensor anomoly apears upon allied screens, befor an unprecidented weight in Kanuckistani warships was upon them. TWo battleplates, and all seven Superfortresses; no frigates were present, the aptly-nicknamed 'pocket-dreadnaughts' remaining behind to protect the homefront from 3rd party attacks, and a last line against anything that got through, along with a single Battleplate.

Admiral Hayes onboard the KHGV Jagged Razor of Methodical Dismemberment hailed the Indra fleet; politly inquioring on the known status of the enemy, and what there battle plans were.

I have FTL sensors, lightspeed energy weapons, and a very, very good computerised fire control system; this means that enemy fighters can not exist within 100'000 kilometers, unless the pilot is the God of all Jedi fighter pilots and is flying something that makes an A-wing look like a garbage scow; even then, he won't live for more than a few seconds. There are 16'500 guns in my point-defence tier, and they're capible of sustained-beam fire.

At this point, you shouldn't have to bother doing the math to figure out how usefull fighters would be against me.



Also, the anti- ratings on my guns are for one-shot kills against typical NSverse ships of that class. I stoped specifying megaton-yeilds a while ago after an argument with someone over what was reasonible.

Up to this point we have been monitoring all spatial and subspace activity in and around the newly formed rift in the Galactic Core. We estimate approximately 1000 large to medium sized enemy vessels with approximately 7000 fighters. To date our losses have been not so good. 45 Indra Prime Vessels have been lost, including one Phaeralon Class flagship. We intend to face off against this enemy and once we prevail, we will send our fleets back into the rift and destroy the enemy's homeworld where this dastardly attack originated. An enemy with our temporal signature cannot be allowed to exist."

That's still 3.6 lightdays. Heck, my ship, at 5 million km back, was only 16.6 lightseconds away.

People always seem to either massivly underestimate or overestimate how big space is; only to be expected when dealing with distances so far removed from every da experiance.

"Confirmed, Phaeralon; I've been reviewing sensor data from the Battle Beyond the Rim and I think we should have them out-gunned by a good margine. We'll position ourselves in formation aproximatly one MSK off your port flank, then deploy FTL inhibitors outwards to 30 lightminutes once the enemy shows out to keep them from withdrawing after their situation becomes aparent."

Even as he spoke, his armada began taking up position; weapons and shields and other things priming for battle.

Ok people, lets keep this a nice, orderly fleet battle. Remember to post ship counts, ranges, and positions with all the action, and maybe this won't degenerate into a nonsensical furball.

The fleet finally arrived at Rho 228. 149 battleships and 276 scouts had survived the journey and entered normal space 2 lightminutes behind the Indra fleet. When they discovered the fleets that were already present they send out a message to them. It was only an audio signal and the voice was clearly artificial.

After sending the message they took up position 4 lightseconds behind the Indra fleet. The scouts were placed in front of the battleships.

OOC: The specs of the ships have something in common with the Borg but they are not them and don't have much in common with them.

Comments: It has several FTL-propulsion systems and its sensors are the best that was available in their home galaxy.

Battleship
Dimensions: cube of 1km.
Power core: 1 quantum singularity and 4 anti-matter reactors.
Hull: Tritanium with neutronium plating
Armament:
- 20 plasma launchers
- 15 focused energybeam emitters
- 12 missile launchers for missiles with anti-matter warheads
Comments: The huge amount of power this vessel needs meant it could not operate on one singularity. First installing a second singularity was tried but this was never succesfull. Instead it was equipped with 4 anti-matter reactors and this proved to be a satisfactory solution to the problem. The neutronium hull plating doesn't cover the entire vessel because this would leave it defenseless and blind. Unlike the scout it cannot regenerate its hull but instead patches it with tritanium untill it can be repaired in a dock.

The reply from the Kanuckistani fleet came after mere seconds, Admiral Hayes' voice a flat, humorless monotone, "Identify yourselves and your intentions; and keep in mind that cryptic replys may be extreamly hazardout to your health."


The Kanuckistani fleet had arranged itself in a circular Wall of Battle a thousand kilometers across, with the pair of Battleplates in the middle and the seven Superfortresses arrayed around them; weapons charged to 'hot standby', standing barrier fields fully deployed; FTLi, and other inhibitors, encapsulating their formation out to 50'000 kilometers while powerful sensors flooded space with active scans and potent ECM generators hummed in idle anticipation.

The whole plan to take the Shivan homeworld = way off. They don't have one. They exist in subspace, which is why they can generally appear anywhere.

Two points.

First of all any civilization that is able to construct a fleet of this magnitude, must have some sort of Control base where vessels can be constructed and the armies to be controlled from. Whether it be a plaet or a station there is some form of control center. What it will be we will find out.

Secondly, we must destroy any civilization that has hostile intentions towards us, either that it beat them into submission.

Indra dimension the Shivans are coming out of does have Station etc etc however i would advise you to push them through the rift and hold them on the other side till you close it. You dont want to piss em off or they really will invade you. ie invading their territory.

Liquidus now looked around, "To anwser all three of your questions. First, I don't know about this place, I was just teleported off a Shivan Battle Cruiser to a random local. Second, I am Lord Liquidus Snake, Leader of the mighty Empire Outer Heaven Mark II. And the third..." he stopped, and looked round, "is because my teleportation blinded you all, therby no one can aim at me, and because I wish to help you all in the fight against the Shivans." he finished.

They received the reply and analyzed it.
"It appears they need more information before they understand why we are here."
"Then we shall explain it to them. We shall also give them our designation, but not our name."

A new transmission was sent. The same artificial voice was used.
*We are here to stop species 2867. We are 1.*

Admiral Bsch walked the length of the bridge, a feet not easily accomplished.

"Is the fleet ready to move out."

A random Shivan replied "Yes." Bosch still had not come to understand their command system.

"Begin."

The fleet began to jump into subspace they would arrive at sector Rho 228 in moments.

Sector Rho 228

Shivan vessels began jumping in to the system, whit flashes could be seen all around the edge of the system a tell tale sign of something coming out of Sub-space. The flagship was the first to arrive the SD Lucifer. Bosch opened a channel while the fleet was still jumping in.
"you will all surrender or be destroyed, this is your first and only warning. Raise the shield."

"Have the fleet charge weapons, they wont stand down."

OOC: What the..? Gus we can only have one nation controlling the Shivans or it'll become way too confusing. If US is IB then fine but I was under the impression that the invasion was not supposed to begin til this weekend?

Kingsly walked down the highly maintenaced, highly polished metal corridor. He knew perfecly well who Liquidus was, who the Shivians were, and what was happening. What he didn't know is how the heck do you teleport from halfway across the galaxy... or how you teleport at all.

"Mr.... uh... Snake. If we ever get out of this, we need to discuss military matters. The teleportation is way beyond us. And I saw the tricorder readings from Commander Raaves' helmet. You didn't fall uncouncious when we gassed the bridge on the ship. Are you... human?

"Anyways, we must speak about the coming battle in Rho 228."

Liquidus raised an eyebrow at Kingsly, "Human? Well, yes, and no. I am a God to my people, good sir. I am filled with implants and upgrades. I am immune to any type of Poisons, Gasses, hell, I can regenerate my fingers if they get cut off! I was born on Serpentius Prime. Serpentius was a fledging Colony left to waste by you other humans. I led them to salvation! I built them an Empire! I am a God Kingsly, and no man within this Galaxy can kill me. That is why the Shivans wanted me." he said, he paused for breath.

"Now, onto the matter at hand. I will order my Empire to help with the attack, and I'll show you our version of Teleportation. But I'll need the following to do so. I'll need a Subspace Field Generator, a Phase inverter, Two Trilithium Crystals, a Control Panel, 50 Meters of Titanium Wiring and two Phenomenon Containers. I have the other necessary things with me." he said simply.

Kinsly stared blankly at the list haded to him. He hoped the Bargin' Mart had this stuff.... He handed a small laptop with a flex-screen to Liquidus.

"These are the pages with our military. Hopefully, you remember the Intranet/Internet?"

"Bill it to The Burnsian Desert's account," said Kingsly. "And just make sure that that thing can put the 1st Space Raid Division and 1st Urban Combat Division on the Temporal Incursion Facility. I have an idea."

Our scientists have dicovered a way to send the Shivians back to their universe-thing. First, we must get to the other side of the rift. From there, we must destroy the event horizon command and control bridge with timed charges. After it is destroyed, the rift will close, sucking everyone who passed through the gate back. That means us... if we actually go through. We can use Liquidus' teleporter to send us over. Theoretically, we don't go through. We create our own rift. I hope to God this works.

One, a Portal about 6ft long (and circular) will appear, and another will at a location somewhere else, when you step through the portal, it is instant, you'll be at the other location, plus, it's two way. Second, it will create a portal line from your crotch to your skull, then it will open up and absorb your body inside out, then the reverse will happen at the point you want to come out. We have Sub-Space Portal Devices that can make a Portal big enough to encompass a planet, but these are quite big." Liquidus finished.

"When I'll demonstrate the device, your scientists can reporduce it to the sizes it needs to be." and with that, Liquidus walked off to a cargo storage room, and started creating the device...

"Liquidus. We don't have that kind of time. Can't you just make a big one that can fit a Bradley in it?"

Kingsly realized what he was doing, then thought about it.

ooc yeah US is my puppet. and may I remind Liqudis that the rift is still guarded by thousands of ships thisis only a task force the Shivans are sending you need to be a hell of alot more creative than simply sending a ship to the rift. The Sub space disturbances around the rift make any teleportation impossible within .01 of a light year from the rift that includes subspace, war or any kind of faster than light travel.

IC: The Shivan fleet continued to exit from Subspace, the bright flashes indicating a new ship arriving, all of a sudden the whole system went white. 62 Sathanas class warships had jumped in weapons charged and ready. The fleet began to reposition itself just outside the system forming a wall of red armour. At the lead the Shivans most powerfull warship the SD Sathanas began to accept telepathic minds of all the Shivan race.

OOC: the SD lucifer is acting as a command ship linking every Shivan mind together as though they were one large collective srta like the borg so its alot more secure than normal subspace communications etc etc. plus it allows reaction times and all of that kind of stuff to be sharpened as every Shivan is aware of the entire battlefield. It cant be intercepted or listened upon since you would need to understand the Shivan thought process, etc etc.

The Sathanas class warships assembled at the front of the line flanked by the Rakasha class and Cain class in betwenn fighters swarmed ready to release their payload of weapons.

Admiral Bosch on the bridge of the Shivan SD Lucifer began scanning the system. To get to earth we must get past this point, this is where all of the sub space disturbances cease I advise an attack on the left and right flanks by the Capital ships condensing the enemy fleet then an attack on the centre can be mounted by the Cains and Rakashas and the reinforcements. We will keep that in mind Bosch. The Shivan leader responded.

Even as the Shivan fleet began entering the system, heavily armoured hangar doors revealed themselves upon the Kanuckistani warships, swarms of Daemon's Bane-Class unmanned interceptors pouring out - 2500 from each Superfortress, 5000 from each Battleplate - 27'500 of the fleet 5 meter long vessels in all, they began rallying in a halo of glittering silver paralell to the Kanuckistani Wall of Battle. Even as FTL inhibitor fields bloosmed outwards at half the speed of light...


"This is Admiral Hayes of the Kanuckistani High Gaurd to Shivan forces." the broadcast began, eminating equally from each ship, "You are hearby ordered to withdraw your vessels from this universe; you are out numbered, out gunned, and stand only to gain your deaths by seeking conflict. This is your only warning."

And with that, the last hangar door sealed behind it's armoured sheath; shield strength redoubled to full power, while weapons began tracking distant targets; the entirity of the two Battleplates facing batteries, 1200 intermediate and 20 super-heavy cryo-atomic particle beam cannons targeting the obvious command ship, the Lucifer.

IC: After a few hours it was complete. A Small beeping box the size of cardboard box was Liquidus' Labour. Kingsly had gone outside when he discovered he knew jack about what Liquidus was making. So Liquidus decided to surprise him. After Calibrating the machine he set it to Portal Mode, and opened one in the Cargo Bay door, and jumped through into Kingsly's bedroom. "I think it works, don't you?" Liquidus said sardonically, "Now, I need to contact my fleet. They can help you guys make a bigger Portal Controller than this. But rather than having just one Huge one of a ship, put one on every ship. And before you ask, the Shivans are telepaths. They could read your men's minds and know where it is, and then focus their attack on that Vessel, destroying it, and cutting off your way home." he finished.

*Enemy detected. Begin evaluation of their potential.*

While they were busy with this they began to move forward to be closer to the Indran fleet. They also sent a message:
"You have a plan?"

On board the Indra Prime Flagship PhaeralonJonathan Trellan sat in his command chair eagerly awaiting the coming battle. Whenever he had been in conflict with some other nation, it always seemed to get his blood pumping and in the face of death, he developed a very defiant attitude towards the enemy as if he were unstoppable. He thought, its just like they say, Today is a good day to Die!. He stood up from his command chair and that move elicited a few glances from a few of the younger officers around the bridge. He stepped down towards the Holoscreen and raised his voice to the point where his communicatons officer would hear his orders.

"Major Theelke, open a broadband subspace comm channel to the Shivans and network the other vessels with it to increase the power of the transmission."

"Aye sir. Acquiring Network....network acquired. Channel opened sir."

"Attention enemy vessels. This is General Jonathan Trellan, commander of Indra Prime Task Force. You have heard the demands by the Kanuckistani Fleet, but we will not be so lenient. Turn your invasion fleet around or we will completely annihilate your fleet giving your crews no mercy and we will then cause more havoc to your precious realm than you could have ever done to ours. You have six hours to remove your forces or I will personally give the order for all the fleets present here to open fire and destroy your vessels. You faced a small task force of vessels the first time you came to our realm, and your ships were severely defeated. Now we have more than 20 times the number of vessels previously and you have not seen the full power of the Indra Prime Vessels. You do NOT want to experience that amount of force. Indra Prime Fleet Command out."

Fifteen minutes after the message was sent, Major Streithhold called the General over to her station.

"Sir, we have picked up a small temporal anomoly at coordinates 032-45-66."

"What do sensors show at that location?"

"Sir, sensors indicate a vessel at those coordinates, vessel hull configuration and design appear to be of the nation Outer Heaven MK II."

"What the hell are they doing with that kind of temporal signature?"

A few moments past as the Major ran up to date sensor readings.

"Sir I may have an answer. A temporal transporter, level six, has been detected in their cargo hold."

Trellan almost burst out laughing at that ephany. He leaned in closer to see it with his own eyes. A chuckle did manage to escape.

"A level six? You have got to be kidding me?"

"No sir."

"Ahhh. humor can be found in such strange places these days. Major, send out a polaric Subspace Pulse and that should eliminate their transporter. And Major, do it so they can see that we were responsible for knocking it out. They need to learn to not play with such technology until they get a little more experience under their belt."

"Yessir, sending pulse... now."


Faster than the speed of light, a specially tuned subspace pulse was sent from the Phaeralon and was directed directly at the MK II vessel. It was the equivalent of a snap of the fingers but in a temporal sense, so any vessel not prepared for it, would suffer minor damage to surrounding systems but would fry the systems specifically targeted.

Or so they thought...Liquidus had put two Trilithuim Crystals into the Temporal Device. Not only do they increase the Sub-Space Portals power, they also create a dampening field, so if such a pulse hit, it would only disable it for a short period...

Liquidus opened hailing frequencies, "Indra Prime Fleet, this is Liquidus Snake of the new GTVA! We are on your side, more of our Vasudan, American martyr, and my own ships will come out momentarily. Do nto attempt to disable their Sub-Space Portal Generators please. They are of my own design, and Outer Heaven have created these Portal Generators for years, you just did not know. We also offer you the chance to join the GTVA. Grand Admiral Liquidus Snake of the GTVA Cruiser Collosus out."

Moments after sending the pulse at the MK II vessel, the Communication officer hailed from the other side of the bridge.

"General, we are recieving a signal from a...a.. another species."

"Patch it through Major."

The message itself was short and simple as if spoken by a young being.You have a plan?. And with that the communication ended. The communications officer opened a channel to every allied ship in the region and even to those vessels that were still on the way, at a signal from the General.

" This is General Jonathan Trellan of the Indra Prime Command Ship Phaeralon. We do indeed have a plan of attack to engage and destroy the enemy. We are going to send vessels through onto the other side of the nebular barrier cloaked and draw the enemy in to the region with the remaining vessels. Once they get most of the way in, and bottlenecked, the vessels cloaked on the opposite side will decloak and close up the hole trapping the Enemy fleet in between two walls of attacking vessels. Once the bulk of the enemy fleet is destroyed we will cooridinate a massive attack through the rift into their realm and we will destroy them completely. We would need massive amount of cooperation from all nations involved and it will ensure our victory. We have the battleplan and the temporal weaponry that appeared to do the most damage to the enemy the last time so, we will take the lead in this war effort. Let us know that you intend to assist us with this attack. Phaeralon Standing by."

A few moments later, the rest of the GTVA fleet came out of Sub-Space...

IC: "Grand Admiral, please do not attempt to use your generators during this conflict. We sent a low level pulse just to get your attention to show you that we monitor all temporal activity in this region of the galaxy and we have even more intense focus on an area where a battle is about to take place. Our vessel is capable of generating a pulse at least 100 times more powerful which would most definitely critically damage your vessels. Using these devices when dealing with this enemy could distract us from our target goals. Plus from our scans of the underlying technology shows that they cannot be nearly powerful enough to close the rift that has been opened. Our vessels are the only ones capable of closing that rift, well that and fourteen supernovae shockwaves intersecting at the rift simultaneously. I repeat. Do not use the generators. Please Acknowledge. Phaeralon standing by."

OOC: the GTVA is the Galactic Terran-Vasudan Alliance. If you play Freespace, you'll know what it is.

"I must apologise, we will use the Generators, but only if we need to. Also, the Colossus Cargo bay's Generator is a backup, meet the Mark 10 Generator..."

And with that, a huge Portal the size of a sun opened infront of the Colossus, and every ship in the GTVA entered the Portal, and another opened just infront of the Indra Prime Vessels.

"I believe this should be adequate Phaeleron to close the rift. Now, transmit your plans to us. We have Two Seperate Species in one fleet. We are bigger than you Indra prime, so we can take the brunt of the attack. Liquidus Standing By..."

OOC: I need fleet sizes when you bring a fleet to the battleground. Also OHMK, no offense but even if you have 10,000 vessels its kinda doubtful that your vessels would have more combined firepower than mine. Also a word of warning, any temproal incursion within a close distance to my fleet will most likely result in an all out attack on the vessels be them friend or foe.

"GTVA, battle plans were transmitted to every vessel at the same time. Arrangements for fleet positions will have to be done shortly. Also a portal wont do much good in closing a temporal rift. A temporal resurgance pulse at least will be needed to deal it and your nation is not capable of one."

OOC: My nation is the foremost expert on Temporal Technology so thus has the most advanced temporal tech. And I need some sleep before I pass out on my keyboard.

OOC: This is probally a good time to mention that my ships have active ASPEW fields, which effectivly shield them from phionics, magick, temporal FUBAR, etc. Tho the fields barely extend beyond the range of their shields.

EDIT: Also, I'd wager that my fleet's the most powerful currently in the field.

The fleet got the message from the Indra Prime fleet and they debated their response.
"It appears they are still not certain that we are here to stop species 2867 even after we communicated our intentions."

"Sensors indicate 2 temporal incursions near our position, standbye. A fleet of ships is coming out of them. They appear to be enemies of species 2867, one new species has been detected on board those vessels."
"Send that message to species 2866-Indra and also send a message to system 2-1 informing them of our status and the knowledge we have gained here so far."
Message to Indra Prime, the voice is emotionless and artificial:

*We agree to your plan, we will hold species 2867 in place. Our vessels can take more damage then your ships can. As to your plan to go through the rift. We have our own orders concerning the rift.*

"Alright folks! It's done. Get everyone into Cargo Hold 6, starting with the Bradleys! Go! GO!" Kingsly was excited. To say the least. He donned his battle armor and ran to the portal. He stopped just short.

"Liquidus. You don't have to come. You're a god to your people, so go back to them. OH! Right. You're invincible. Get in there," he added, smiling.

Kingsly jumped into the portal behind the fourth Bradley. He felt like he had a stomachache. But when he came to the facility, he was ready. Kingsly moved behind one of the Bradleys for cover.

Whoa, whoa. OH. Since you know freespace, then you know that the amount of ships the shivans have, along with the firepower of them, that taking out a fleet will be impossible. Particularly since you are using a colossus, and you know that they are equivalent to slightly worse than a Sathanas. Remember that a couple of hundred of them take out stars.
This alteration of the Shivans has untold millions of them. Given their dimensional conquering of everywhere, it is unlikely that you can beat them with conventional tactics. I doubt sending in a bradley would work, considering the shivans have beam cannons capable of tearing the Bradley apart.
(Still not Sith or Brits, but he's been informing me of the sit'.)

We're not just gunna send a Bradlley out into space...

The Bradleys and the other hundred people are destroying the Temporal Incursion Facility, whereby destroying the gate, whereby sucking everyone who came through it, back. That DOES NOT include us, as we are making our own gate. We have about 2 hours before the gate destabilizes.

The Bradleys have been outfitted with Level 2 shields, provided by Outer Heaven MK II.

IC: Kingsly let off a few rounds. The flak cannons in the halls were exploding with hit after hit from the Bradleys' TOW missile launchers. Behind the cover of the Bradley, Kinsly kept low, running down the hall. A large sign said, "COMMAND BRIDGE --->". As Kingsly looked around the corner, his head was split in half by a stray round of flak from the Bradley's airburst round cannon. Time stood still.

Liquidus jumped thorugh the Portal leading to the Facility. Leaving a capable Commander in charge Liquidus donned his armour, loaded all of Outer Heavens most powerful weapons into the holsters on the armour, and let loose...

*Sigh, look here is the deal. there is a link i posted earlier in the forums that give all the stats you need to know about the Shivan vessels. OH two things the temporal incusion weapon was destroyed. the first rift has been closed and destroying the second which is vast will require alot more than that. 3) destroying the rift will not suck all vessels back into it they have to be within a certain proximity and the second rift well the Shivans created themselves. They are in a wall formation with the Sathanas class warships at the sides and the rest of the fleet in the centre.

Admiral Bosch sat staring into a screen. "It seems they have alot more ships than we anticipated. What do you want to do"

"We continue with the attack, what else."

The fist attack wave of fighters left the front lines attacking Species one (Who as I understand it is seperated from the rest of the fleet.) If not he is still being attacked. the first wave of Mara fighters moved in for the kill launcing a payload of Titan missiles at the Shield emitters of the lead vessels. The SD lUcier activated its huge engines and began to proceed to the battle its primary beamcannons charged and ready to fire.

"What are you doing, are you mad Bosch screamed at the lead Shivan."

"Do not be foolish this ship can take anything that band of scrap can throw at us."

The Lucifer came into range at an angle to the enemy fleet preventing the fighters from being attacked by the rest of the enemy fleet.the Lucifer fired its first shots at the Shield emitters of the point enemy vessel with intent on destroying it in one hit."

OOC: why does every nation think their vessels can take more of a beating than mine can? Just becuase I post losses in the initial attack means they are weaker? Don't forget we bore the brunt of the attack last time. Bah!

Six Hours Prior to Shivan offensive

General Trellan leaned over the strategy table in the Situation room, adjacent to the bridge. Around the room were the 65 commmanders of the vessels that would be the cloaked force to close the trap on the Shivan Fleet. Immediately around the table were the Fourteen other Fleet Commanders, all commanders of the Phaeralon Class vessels but still lower in rank than Trellan himself.

"Commanders, you all know your assignments and the very real risk that is involved in the maneuver. You all know that if we fail, the entire galaxy will be overrun by these enemies. We must stop them completely here and now. Generals Burtch, Uhlig, Deemer and Grossen. Your Fleets are to take up position three lightyears above sector Rho 328, the sector just before entering this system. Generals Laberge, Vos, Sinn and Mckinny. Your Fleets are to be taken to 2 light years below Rho 328. The rest of you will conduct your fleets accordingly in this sector to be the other end of the net. As soon as the enemy vessels get in this sector, the eight of you will bring your fleets hard about and fire at will. You have full authority to use the entire aresnal in your vessels just be sure to not incur friendly casualties. Vessels MUST maintain their lines and keep their posisitons to not inhibit the line of fire from the other nations. General Burtch, you will lead Battle Group Beta. General Laberge, you will lead Battle Group Charlie. I will lead Battle Group Alpha from the Phaeralon. Kanuckistani Forces will be designated Delta, Outer Heaven will be Echo, and the rest, Foxtrot. Once the enemy fleet has been destroyed, the Indra Prime Command Ships will lead the advance into the alternate realm to eliminate the enemy positions and make sure they can never do this again. There can be no missteps people. Maintain vigilance and most of all blow the bastards to the next realm. Fleet officers dismissed."

In a flurry of action, the 80 people in the room ran to the transporter rooms and then transported over to their vessels. Less than five minutes passed then 160 vessels almost instantaneously cloaked simultaneously and left the system to prepare what, with luck, would be the final battle with the Shivans in this realm.

If you had paid attention to fleet deployments, you'd have known Species 1 was deployed 4 lightseconds(1'200'000 kilometers) behind Indra, and that I was located 1 million kilometers off Indra's port flank(his left side).


Oh, and Species 1 might be interested to learn that there are well over a hundred thousand sentient species in my nation; typicly, however, this never exceeds a hundred on any given supercapital ship.


EDIT: Species 1 has sense 'moved closer' to the Indra fleet by an unspecifyed distance.

OOC: I did not want to imply that your ships are frail, only that mine ships just can take more of a beating. I lost several vessels in the voyage to this sector because of the mode of travel that had to be used. In all 149 battleships and 276 scouts had survived the journey.

Formation- (keep in mind this is my first serious space rp)
30 SD sathanas are on the left and right hand flanks each spaced 100 km away from the other the rest of the fleet the Cains and Rakashas are in the centre with 2 Sd sathanas class for comfort. Minimum distance between the centre ships is 15km.


The Shivan fleet maintained position waiting for the right moment. I thad happened Species 1 had begun breaking the order of heir formation if only for an instance. All ships powered up their weapons. Preparing for the incurring battle after all this was a training exercise for the Shivan fleet.

"I advise we begin attack on the Indra vessels and attempt to turn their flanks then when we have their line in some confusion we can jump in the reinforcements."

"We will not ask for assistance unless necassary Bosch, only the Lucifer needs to pass through this blockade and it could do it by itself but command in their infinite wisdom has decided we must take out the enemy fleets."

"What is the Lucifer to do in this engagement."

"It is only to run he blockade and reach the sol system, there it will transmit the temporal cordinates so we can open a rift and deal with the humans."

Begin the attack. 32 SD sathanas class warships began to advance towards the Indra lines, each flanked by two Cain cruisers and 3 fighter wings and 2 bomber wings. The rest of the fleet held position insuring that the rest of the allied fleet could not help the Indra and Species 1 lines without being themselves destroyed.

Beam cannon range is about 10km.

The vessels of Species 1 now launched their drones which would be used to take out the Shivan fighters. All in all 11480 drones where launched. They were only 4 meters long and consisted out of nothing more then an engine, some sensors, a weak energy beam weapon on the tip of the craft and some shielding.

The vessels also began to spin slowly while their shields went to full power and their weapons charged.

OOC: if you think it's too much, you should know that every vessel carried some. The scouts carried 20 each and the warvessels 40 which is rather modest given the size of one drone. The range of their weapon is 750m.

I will also give the range of the other weapons my fleet carries.
Scout ship
- 20 plasma launchers with a range of 10 km
- 5 focused energybeam emitters with a range of 6 km
- 1 Spacial distortion emitter (simply a modification to one of its FTL-propulsion systems but very effective against anything that comes within 2 km of it)

Battleship
- 20 plasma launchers with a range of 12 km
- 15 focused energybeam emitters with a range of 8 km
- 12 missile launchers for missiles with anti-matter warheads with a range of 10 km.

Liquidus shot out of his portal, along with Kingsly and the rest of his men. The Temporal Incursion Vessel was destroyed, so there weren't any valid co-ords. As Liquidus got up red lights started and over the dim a voice boomed "RED ALERT! THE SHIVANS ARE ABOUT TO ATTACK!". Liquidus swiped his forehead.

"Damn, okay Kingsly, tapping into our sensors, the Lucifer is about to push through our Blockade. At the rate their going, a boarding party would be . Instead, at the right moment, I will open a portal into the ship. And then..." Liquidus pulled out one of the Phenomenon Container, which contained a little blue sea of swirls, a dampening Crystal, and some wiring, "I can make these things I have just pulled out into a Sub-Space . This is when Sub-Space collapses on itself and explodes. The Explosion isn't that big, only 0.1 Light Years, but the Sub-Space Shockwave can reach up to 1 Lightyear.

The Shockwave is a reality shreader, It'll stretch you, Implode you, bend you without breaking, rip you open, explode you..." he paused, "Basically, if you get hit by the shockwave, you have no chance of survival. If your ship touches it, just a minor bump, it'll rip off whatever that place on the ship might be, and the rest of you ship would surely follow. That's why, I'm going to plant it near the Lucifer's engines.

When the is supposed to detonate, reality will...flux. That will change the shape of the engines, the output, etc., so the Lucifer will fly around like a crazed bee for about a minute, most likely towards their fleet, so that should give us a minute to escape. But, the moment the goes off, after the reality Flux, it explodes, no Portals can be created. Simply because a huge Sub-Space explosion has happend. When the goes off, there won't BE a Sub-Space to Portal into.

So those ships that didn't portal out in time, will have to race the Shockwave. I'll need a few minutes. So God Speed to you all." Liquidus finished, and with that, he ran to the aligning cargo bay, looking for a panel to use with the ...

As the Shivian force closed with the Indra and Species 1 fleets, the Kanuckistani ships reoriented their Wall of Battle to present their frontal batteries to the enemy, concentrating their combined fire fire upon 5 of the enemy Sathanas vessels as they entered weapons range.

My effective energy weapons range is 5 lightseconds, or 1.5 million kilometers; I'm only 1 million kilometers away from Indra, so you'll be entering my own range to attack him. Unfortunatly, the lightspeed-delay means I can't hit fighters at this distance, as it would take weapons fire more than 3 seconds to reach Indra's position.

And no; my ranges are rather large for spacetech, true, but hardly godmod. Freespace also has rediculosly short ranges; Star Trek's somewhere between 100'000-300'000km for max phaser range, iirc.

Firepower those 5 ships are about to eat is as follows:

12000 guns from the combined light tiers; each can one-shot-kill fighters and most corvettes(shouldn't make much difference, but I can't hit your fighters at this range anyway)

4700 guns from the combined intermediate tiers; each can one-shot-kill most destroyers and cruisers

140 guns from the Superfortresses heavy tiers; they can puch a rather large hole through a planet in a fist full of seconds.

20 guns from the Battleplate's SuperHeavy tiers; one of these can frag a planet in the time it takes the above weapons to drill through.

So, basicly, you're looking at some very nasty overkill focused on only 5 ships, but killing your fleet too quickly would be rather anti-climatic. :wink:

I thought the ranges were rather small. Nevertheless I will keep them like this for this rp. But I will change them for future use.

The Shivan Ships were being decimated the 32 sathans call warships that had advanced were heavily damaged pices of hull were torn claws spinning off from the ship.

Bosch loooked at the screen calm and collected he said. "it seems they are alot more advanced than anticipated I will relay a signal to the fleet command detailing them of the weapons."

"Agreed."

The remaining 30 SD Sathanas class warships took point at the head of the fleet all pointed at the mosta dvanced and therefore dangerous Kanuckistan fleet.

The claws at the front of the Sathanas class warships began to close forming a point. The power core of each ship charged intent on a massive energy outburst. once the power coreas had reach critical the energy was discharged in a form a a level 32 subspace pulse. The semi circle shock wave rippled out from the point of its creation heading towards the enemy fleet faster than the speed of light. The Shivan vessles that were already heavily damaged were instantly vaporised.

ooc This energy wave is capable of destabilizing stars. The shivan fleet actualy blew one up just for the hell of it.

Liquidus met up with Kingsly a few minutes later, and held out a crude box with a Control Panel, lots of Wiring, Magnetic Clamps, and Three Trylithium Crystals centred around a Phenomenom Container, which, also had a Swirling blue Portal inside. "This Kingsly, is our Sub-Space . I only know how to operate it, so I'll keep it with me. Now Kingsly, this is off the record. Indra Prime is keeping us away like babies, we'll show 'em who's boss!" he said strongly, "Now, when I give the word, you press the big red button on this," he said, he gave Kingsly a small Sub-Space Generator, "It's all set up, when you press the button, the Portal to the Lucifer should open. We will all jump through, and you will keep the Generator with you. You need to cover me while I make it to one of their engine rooms, I'll plant the B0MB, and we'll then have 5 Minutes to escape. After that, Reality will Flux, so the Generator will either:

a) Not work
or
B) Send us to a completely different location.

The Generator is set us as a two way system. When I set the B0mb, I'll run back to you and let you know. Press the Red Button, and the Generator will trace it's previous Portal back to this Cargo Bay, we'll jump through the Portal, I'll shut it down, then our fleet will kick the hell outta here. You understand?" Liquidus finished.

liquidus what are you attempting to do. Iam just wondering plus if you close the rift the Shivans will just open another one its not that hard. as well as the subspace disturbances around the rift prevent cloaking, faster than light travel any kind of temporal disturbances as wellas i dont think you have gathered this is not a tear in sub-space this isw a tear in the dimensional wall.

OOC: What I'm attempting to do is to defeat your Fleet Brits. Because fo your weaponry we can't do a standard boarding, so what we're going to do is open up a sub-space portal and jump inot your ship. Then, I will (remembering the Lucifer's layout) head to the nearest engine room, with Kingsly's men covering me, and plant the Sub-Space . We will then arrive where we jumped into the Lucifer, and then open a Portal back into the Colossus. The is timed for 5 Minutes. When that time is up, the magnetics will start to suck power out of the Shivan ship. This will 'agitate' the little Vortex/Portal in the Phenomenom Container, which will make it Flux. This should do all sorts of weird things to the ship, but most importantly, bend the engines and change the power outputs so the Lucifer will go around at a HUGE speed back (most likely) in the direction it came. When the Portal/Vortex is 'agitated' enough, it will collapse on itself, and the energy will collide with the energy being given off by the Crystals. Basically: BOOM!

The ship will be engulfed by a Light Second Diameter Explosion (and any near ships), and then a 20 lightsecond Sub-Space Shockwave will come out, and will shred up anything in it's path by doing all sorts of weird things. No Portals can be made, so I'll signal the retreat while the Lucifer is whizzing about. When the shockwave subsides, the area caught in it, be it sub-space or real space, will no longer exist. Seeing as there won't be a 20 lightsecond diameter of sub-space missing, no Portals can go there, simply because there isn't any sub-space around.

ooc: you were never on board the lucifer you were on board the SD Sathanas. plus iam sorry to say the Lucifer has shields that nothing can penatrate unless its inside sub-space.

Now that the Shivan fleet seem to concentrate on the Kanuckistani fleet Species 1 came into action. It had positioned themselves on the right of the Indran fleet and now moved forward and to the left to attack the Shivan fleet in the flank.

Bosch monitered the enemy vessels attempting to attack the left flank. 10 out of 30 sathanas class warships still operational began to engage. Each warship realeased its payload of hornet missiles and fired each of its beam cannon turrets slicing accross the hull of the enemy vessels. The remaining 18 cain class cruisers set an interception course they powered up their engines almost to critical heading straight for the enemy vessels.The first Cruisers hit the outer shield bubble while matching frequencys with the Species 1 shields allowing them to pass through. Continuing their course they slammed into the hull of the enemy warships. The protruding spike of the warships penatrated into the vessels infastructure. Hatches were opened by the Shivans and they began to board the vessels.

OOC: Still wthat's what I'm gonna do, we'll activate a SUB-SPACE PORTAL into the Lucifer.

He didn't explain it very well. The Lucifer shields are impregnable, unless the Lucifer is in subspace, which it isn't.
Also, this is a fully crewed Shivan flagship. There is no feasible way for you to get to the engine room without being torn to bits. If you have played freespace 1, you will have seen what happens when you try that. If you haven't, I'll tell you. This giant 12 foot tall insect comes crashing down a corridor. You shoot it, and the bullets bounce off. It then pummels you into the floor, where it beam cannons your face. Infiltration actions like this work on the borg. Not the Shivans.

OOC: There's very little in space to disrupt/diffise/absorb/etc focused weapons fire, and my weapons are very keenly focused to minimise disipation. The fact that I use a low density coherent particle beam as the basis for my energy weapons(they're kinetic, BTW) further serves to reduce inherent disipation. Power comes from Hawking Reactors, which convert matter directly into energy(matter stored as a neutronium superfluid to reduce volume), and Celestial Incurser Lenses, which are kinda like white hole cores or hyperspace taps, but not. The weapons and power plants mentioned above are my own creations, BTW, and overall fairly realistic to boot :D

I'll wait for the others to respond, but in the mean time note that you're probally about to see a keystone to my ship's defences in action.

I also hope that you don't plan on having the Lucifers shields as impregnable; tough as hell, maybe, but we're packing a hell of alot more firepower than anything she's faced in Freespace.

Oh, and there's an FTL inhibitor field expanding outward from my ships at half the speed of light, reaching it's max 30 lightminute radius after 1 IC hour; normally this would have incidently served to cut realspace and subspace off from each other, but subspace seems to be rather intigral to the varrious plots, so I'll ignore that aspect for now. Just don't jump ships around FTL within it's radius, ok?

BTW, Outter Heaven MKII, why board when you can just send a nuke? A really, really big nuke? Open portal, wheel timed nuke through, close portal; boom. Big enough and it don't matter where it goes off. :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:

Lucifer shields don't even flicker when Fired upon.
Believe us when we say it is impregnable. It has never been removed from 100% operational. I'm not sure, but I think that it has something to do with the Lucifer shields just being a one way subspace portal all around the ship, meaning when it is fired upon, the blast just ends up in subspace. That way, no matter what you do, nothing will get through. It would also explain why they don't work in subspace.

Well, I supose I could always try an SLDS missile; it's an inertialess drive system of mine that allows travel without technicly even being in motion, so it should be able to get through the shield without being shunted into subspace, as it'd never actually pass through the shield-portal thing. Too late to get into the physics.

I supose I can respond in retrospect, seeing as you've extrapolated my attack pattern when I only actually fired at 5 ships; this is the kinda furball I was hoping to avoid, but it seems too late, and hey, I'm winning. But maybe you can try to be a little more organised and orderly?

Kanuckistani fire continued to rake the Shivian fleet as the first return fire came towards their assembled fleet; a sudden distortion apearing befor each ship as gravity visibly warped space, bending reality back on itself to interpose a mirror-like barrier, an impenitrible barrier covering a 90 degree arc and facing the incoming barrage of subspace pulses. Quickly, the cloud of fighters scrambled into cover, even as FTL sensors tracked the shockfront, but not so rapidly as to avoid casualties; 2500 of the fragile craft rendt asunder, but no matter; ten times their number remained.

...And those shields of warped reality have reflected the barrage of shockwaves back upon the would-be attackers :twisted:

The Gravitic Spatial Inversion Induction Effectors shown in action above can only generate a 90 degree arc of coverage around each ship(tho it's steerible), but it's impeneritrible to almost anything; not a godmod, it just forces you to employ tactics, and is an all-around pain in the ass when I do things like bounce your own fire back at you. :twisted: :P :wink:

Liquidus met up with Kingsly a few minutes later, and held out a crude box with a Control Panel, lots of Wiring, Magnetic Clamps, and Three Trylithium Crystals centred around a Phenomenom Container, which, also had a Swirling blue Portal inside. "This Kingsly, is our Sub-Space . I only know how to operate it, so I'll keep it with me. Now Kingsly, this is off the record. Indra Prime is keeping us away like babies, we'll show 'em who's boss!" he said strongly, "Now, when I give the word, you press the big red button on this," he said, he gave Kingsly a small Sub-Space Generator, "It's all set up, when you press the button, the Portal to the Lucifer should open. We will all jump through, and you will keep the Generator with you. You need to cover me while I make it to one of their engine rooms, I'll plant the B0MB, and we'll then have 5 Minutes to escape. After that, Reality will Flux, so the Generator will either:

B) Send us to a completely different location.

The Generator is set us as a two way system. When I set the B0mb, I'll run back to you and let you know. You reffering to me? Presently 2.845 billion, and the only way anyone's walking away with a bit of my ships is if they're all slaged; salvaging Kanuckistani military hardware without permission is considered an act of war.

As for Gridfire, well, I had a ship with something kinda like that, but with lightspeed propigation; the 50km long Emberwind-class FleetReaver, KHGV Emberwind. Too powerful, tho; shelved it nearly a year ago and relabled it 'Plot-Device Class' :wink:

Liquidus grinned, "You will eventually. Now, stock up on weaponry, there are gonna be a hell of alot of Shivans on that ship. Every one has a dis-intergrating eye-cannon, so watch out for that. They also has this insectoid type monster that runs rampage around corridors when an intruder gets in. It'll stample over you, and has beam cannons on it's underside as well. But that's it weakness. If that monster comes down the corridor, let me know, and I'll take it down." he finished. He went over to a container, and using his hands, pulled the lid off. Considering it was magnetically sealed, it was some feat.

Out Liqidus pulled out what looked like a heavy-machine gun, only with ALOT of packs connected all over it. He threw it over to Kingsly, "Wraith MK IV, Heavy Plasma Cannon. This is very similar to old age Heavy Machine guns, so your men should be able to operate it. But, it runs on these Plasma Packs connected everywhere, so don't worry about reloading. There's alot of juice in that gun, but if you use it all up, that's it. There aren't any spare packs for us to take for the gun, so conserve the ammo. Feel free to get your own weapons. But keep that one, it's Standard for all Space Marines in the GTVA." he finished.

Bosch monitered the enemy vessels attempting to attack the left flank. 10 out of 30 sathanas class warships still operational began to engage. Each warship realeased its payload of hornet missiles and fired each of its beam cannon turrets slicing accross the hull of the enemy vessels. The remaining 18 cain class cruisers set an interception course they powered up their engines almost to critical heading straight for the enemy vessels.The first Cruisers hit the outer shield bubble while matching frequencys with the Species 1 shields allowing them to pass through. Continuing their course they slammed into the hull of the enemy warships. The protruding spike of the warships penatrated into the vessels infastructure. Hatches were opened by the Shivans and they began to board the vessels.
OOC: IB shouldn't I have had the oppertunity to respond before you finish your attack? I will let this one pass though but try to do it right next time.

IC: the first 5 Cruisers managed to ram into scouts and penetrated the hull. The other vessels were however warned and quickly modified their shield configuration to prevent this from happening. The entire fleet concentrated their fire on these 13 ships and the drones were sent out to continue the attack on the left flank of the Shivans. 10 other scouts had been badly damaged by the attack of the Sathanas but the debry that had been spewed out by the explosion was quickly gathered by cables and tentacels that came out of the gaps in the hull. They placed the debry back onto the hull and this formed a new hull together with material brought up from within the ship.

Meanwhile the Shivans had begun to board the 5 vessels they had managed to board. They could see low corridors in all directions and they quickly followed them. But then a 10cm thick door of duratanium lowered in front of the Shivans that had entered the corridors and behind them as well. The Shivans had not realized that a vessel of Species 1 doesn't have corridors because it doesn't have a crew. Metal tentacles now shot out of the walls, seelings, floors and the hull to grasp the Shivan and their ship. Cables too came out of the walls to hold the Shivan and the ship in place while the tentacles did what they where supposed to: Disassembling a ship and this meant that tearing up a Shivan was relatively easy. Now that the corridors weren't needed anymore the ship returned to its normal state and the walls, seelings and floors of the corridors began to approach each other.

ooc: I made a grevious error on the beam cannon range guys. well i actualy pplayed freespace 2 again and it seems they have a range of 18 to 22km. I learned this the hard way as I was actualy destroyed by a beam 22km away from the Sathans as it was ripping the GTVA collossus to shreds.

Bosch looked at the schematics along the command deck. "It seems we have lost this battle." He said to no one in particular. 50% of the fleet was engaged or destroyed fighters were strewn all over space either fighting for their survival or as space junk. "Signal the retreat to the core."

The remaining Shivan ships began to turn away at their maximum possible speed. all other vessels that were engaged began a dive for self destruct preparing to ram as many of the enemy vessels as possible.

"This Admiral Aken Bosch to the allied fleet, mark my words you have just invited unspeakable horrors upon this galaxy."

Location Galactic core: The Shivan assault fleet arrived back tending its wounds. This was an embarrising defeat for the Shivans. Conquerers of entire dimensions and they were defeated. No matter They will continue the attack.

Bosch looked at the lead Shivan. "I sugest you send for reinforcements.

The cruisers and Shivans that had entered the scouts were studied closely and much knowledge was gained from them. Strengths and weaknesses were being discovered. Some Shivans were thrown out into open space to see how their bodies would react. The computer core of the cruisers was one of the primary goals and as soon as one was reached they were accessed to find out more about the technical capabalities of the Shivans.

The other cruisers were now attacked with modified missiles armed with anti-matter warheads designed to punch through the shielding of the Shivan ships before detonating.

OOC: Well this battle was a bit of an anticlimax. :o

There was one thing Admiral Bosch did not count on. While the confrontation was occuring between the two sides and the Shivans beat a hasty retreat after getting torn asunder by the Kanuckistani, Species 1, and Outer Heaven Fleets, the bulk of the Indran Fleet pulled their vessels out of the fray and cloaked a few at a time until a single battle group was left combatting against the Shivans. With the Shivans apparently oblivious to the sudden, yet subtle removal of vessels by Indra Prime, they were able to move freely and they took full advantage of this suprise move. Battle group Alpha met up with Battle Groups Beta and Charlie on the other side of Sector Rho 228 and set a course for the temporal rift. The 30 vessels that remained in conflict with the Shivans kept a constant hyperrelay signal open to the rest of the fleet so they could monitor the enemy positions and the status of the conflict. The Indran Vessels running for the rift, arrived at a point that was about half a light year away from the event horizon of the rift. Sensors aboard every single vessel took in the immediate surroundings and also the few vessels that were guarding the rift. Sensor readings did not show that the enemy had detected their arrival and were still at low alert condition. The Shivans were an arrogant race, thinking that they would win this battle and they would be able to destroy the Human Race. Oh how they were wrong. Just as the primary Shivan Fleet was demolished, The Dark Star, Talon, Phantom Nebula, and the Menace, Four Phaeralon class vessels decloaked with their Temporal Displacement disruptors fully charged and fired at the enemy vessels, completely erasing from this reality. With the rift unguarded they were free to enter the rift and eliminate the enemy vessels on the other side. As soon as the battle group that had remained behind to fight the initial Shivan Invasion, Five Hundred Indra Prime ships of the line entered the rift to face the enemy and defeat them on their own ground.

A phalanx of 60 Battle Cruisers entered the rift first in diamond attack formation. Clearly the enemy on the other side of the rift would not expect to have an enemy fleet arrive though their very own rift rather than their own vessels. But when the initial shock of enemy vessels penetrating their realm they would fight without mercy. The Battle Cruisers were the advanced attack to draw whatever fire would come frim the enemy fleet. 30 second after the Battle Cruisers entered the fleet the full flight of Phaeralon class flagships entered the rift closely guarded by thirty six fighter formations consisting of twelve fighters apiece. the fighters were apart of the Katrar warships that followed immediately after the Phaeralon flagships. As soon as the flagships exited from the temporal rift, fourteen bright cerulean blue beams of Temporal Energy lashed out and stuck fourteen enemy vessels just getting ready to engage the invading fleet. Wave after wave of Indra Prime Vessels poured through the temporal rift to engage and destroy the vessels that remained in the immediate sector and any type of sensor relay platform that would inform the base of the Shivans that there was an enemy in their territory and were wreaking havoc. Due to the suprise of the initial attack the few Shivan vessels in the region didn't stand a chance against the Indra Prime Vessels. All enemy vessels were completely obliterated by the ferocious attack led by the Indra Prime flagships. As the final vessels poured out of the temporal rift they contacted the lead vessel of the attack, the IPFS Dark Star to inform them of the status of the battle going on in their own realm.

"Dark Star, this is the Battle Cruiser Ticonderoga. We report that the enemy has suffered a major defeat against the Kanuckistani and allied fleets and have beaten a hasty retreat back to the Rift. We entered the rift just as the vessels entered our sensor range, so they did not know that we entered the rift. If they notice the rift guard was eliminated they will probably come through to find them. Our allied fleets are starting on repairs and report they are prepared to be thrown back in the deep end again. They are eager to eliminate the enemy. Report ends 0325 Zulu. Ticonderoga out."

With the final confirmed report finished, the Dark Star began to command the fleet to secure the system and the rift. If anyone or anything decided to interfere, they would be ready.

The Kanuckistani armada arrived near the rift shortly after the battered and retreating Shivan fleet, having disparched the remaining straglers befor following on SLDS drives.

Now, two million kilometers away from the Shivan fleet, they perpared the reengage the enemy; a relentless, unstopible foe, they would once more descend upon the invader's ranks like towering daemons upon the mortal armies of old.

Admiral Hayes did not know if his enemy knew fear, or if they were about to learn fear; what he knew for certain, however, was that they were about to become very, very familiar with their own mortality. Again.

A signal came through Hyperspace from the Phaeralon who had remained back at the intial battlesite in Sector Rho 228 and was directed at the lead Kanuckistani BattlePlate.

"Attention Kanuckistani fleet. This is the Indra Prime Flagship Phaeralon. We have a fleet on the other side of the temporal rift waiting to interecept any enemy message or ship that comes through the rift. If you can force the enemy back through the rift, they will be able to eliminate the vessels with the full strength of the fleet. Once the invasion fleet is destroyed, we would be free to invade their territory and eliminate them from existance.Phaeralon standing by."

The fleet of Species 1 had also followed the Shivan fleet to the rift and where now preparing to end this once and for all.

ooc May i remind you guys that there is alot more ships the what is sent to secor rho 228 at the rift.


Admiral Bosch stared at his sensor readings looking for a flaw searching for a way. "We are being followed to the rift."

"We know."

"Is the fleet prepared for them? We must not fail in this battle."

The remaining battle squadron dropped out of sub-space to the rift the took up point positions ordering the fleet to do the same things. This pathetic systen that the rift was located in had only 1 star and a few stellar bodies of no consequence or desire to the Shivans their inhabitants had been wiped out from the intense radiation from the rift.

The Shivan fleet had numbers on their side, they always had numbers on their side. The fleet took position around the rift while the current standing force 346 SD sathanas warships took positions around the sun. While the rest of the fleet sourrounded the rift.

Fleet stats around the rift 45000 fighters. 6000 Cain class Light cruisers. 1003 Rakasha destroyers 567 Ravana Heavy capital ships. (this is new to you guys) 10 Lucifer class destroyers.

Bosch was pleased with himself the alliance would attack and it would be crushed. although this is the only battle fleet within a years ttime distance from their current victory defeat would mean one of two things. The alliance would either push into Shivan space unhindered for a time. or they would die.

"Gold leader, this is Home Plate. Commence Operation Redeeming Grace. I say again, Commence Op RG!"

"This is Gold Leader. Wilco. Repeat, wilco."

Two million ships, of every description, dropped out of subspace warp. They flew behind each Shivian warship, armed with Cyclops anti-cruiser bombs, and aimed for the engines...

They were always there! Remember? I'm still a bit behind them, not close enough to fire, but about 20 lightminutes away. (My ships aren't light speed)

Then a huge whole was rippeed in the subspace continium. From it belched the entire Metallinauts fleet. They had emptied everything they had in to this. Then a most amazing sight hapened, the Metallinauts crown jewel, the U.S.S. Redemption, a Planet Killer class Ultra Heavy Batleship flew out of the Warp. The fleet contained:

OOC: Well, for some reason the shivan fleet guarding the rift(that you say was there) left and only a few vessels remained behind so we were able to destroy them and enter the rift. The Shivan Fleet should not have any knowledge of the Indran Fleet's entry into their realm.

Admiral Hayes had seen it befor; recently enough to understand the implications inherent in the Shivian fleet deployment.

'What is it about about forginers and blowing up stars?' he silently mused to himself.

"Phaeralon," an encoded reply to the Indran fleet began, "Large enemy fleet rallying on this side of the portal; count four-five-kilo fighters and aproximatly seven thousand vessels of varrious classes. Allied forces can handle them, but assistance would be apreciated," a tactical plot outlining the varrious fleets was transmitted, the Sathanas' around the sun highlighted, "Belive enemy intend to nova system primary; highlighted ships will be engaged and destroyed first by our detachment."

Another message was transmitted to all allied ships, "Belive enemy squadron around sun plan to induce nova; we will destroy them A-SAP. Recomend you engage portal gaurd until we can assist."

And with that, the Kanuckistani Wall of Battle redeployed fighters and steamed full-bore towards the SD Sathanas warships gathered around the sun.

Now the fleet of Species 1 had entered the system. They received the communication from Kanuckistan and after some thought send the following message:
*Your plan is acceptable. We will destroy the riftguard.*

They had studied the captured ships and Shivans well and had made some alternations to their vessels accordingly. The Shivans would be in for a suprise.

ooc: hmmm I like the way this is going. Ill let you destroy the fleet guarding the rift however you must remember i sent all the Sathanas class warships to sourround the sun in the system the rift is located 273. This quite far away from the rift however :twisted: you are now in a trap.

IC Bosch looked at his command console the Indra fleet was devastating the small coverte fleet ignoring the Sathanas fleet sourrounding the sun.
"Activate the cloaked inhibitors." Bosch announced
Immediantly after his order 2000 inhibitor bhoys were activated throughout the system. All SD Sathanas warships closed the front claws into a point creating a subspace shockwave. This shockwave effectively destabilized the star inducing a super Nova. It would consume the system in minutes.

"This is Admiral Aken Bosch to all ships return through the rift I repeat return through the rift."

The SD Sathanas fleet jumped out (Its outside of the inhibator field which prevents all and any from of faster than light travel.) to safety leaving the pursuing enemy fleet to hit a wall of fire.

The rift guard set up a wall of ships attempting to put up a stand to the Indravessels however suprise was on their side. Hails for assistance were being emitted from the warships and they were answered. Out of the rift like a torrant of rage came the 10 lucifer class destroyers out of the rift. its primary beam canons charged (The lucifer beamcannons are more powerful than the entire sathanas itself.) and opened fire on the Indra vessels suprise was on their side now. The fighters knowing the Sathanas plan imediantly retreated through the rift while the Lucifer fleet engaged the Indra capital ships. The Sathanas fleet on the otherhand with 1 Lucifer destroyer. Jumped back to sector Rho 228 flanking the allied fleet they were now on their way to Earth with no one to stop them. :twisted:

OOC: Lol, did I say the GTVA Fleet went in?

"Sir, the Shivans are coming back out of the Rift, heading for Earth." the lieutenant stated. "Hmm, I thought they'd have spotted that we were missing, very well." he said. He opened up Comm. Channels to every other GTVA ship, "All GTVA ships, this is GA Snake. Commence attack now!" he ordered. He shut down the Comm. Channel, and the Colossus, along with the GTVA Fleet, came around the Rift (they'd been hiding behind the Rift) and opened fire on the Shivan Cruisers.

With most of their Beam Turrets on the Front of their ships the Shivans were easy targets for the GTVA Fleet. Soon the Shivan Fleet broke up, and Liquidus, giving the order, sent the ship at full Speed towards the Lucifer, and opened fire on it's un-defended behind...

Aboard the U.S.S. Redemption...
"Captain! There is energy being discharged all over the place in the Sol sector!"
"Damn it!!!! Open a channel to all ships in the fleet!"

"This is Captain Maxwell, the Shivans have breeched the Sol sector, Repeat the Shivans have breeched the Sol sector! All vessels enter the warp and get there as fast as possible."

With in minutes th Metallinauts reached their destination...
Subspace tore open as the entire Metallinauts flee came hence forth.
"Captain, there are other vessels attacking the Shivan fleet, they have taken quite a beating"
"Well it's not like me to stand and watch a fight."
Then the whol metallinauts fleet cut right through the waves of Shivan vessels only loosing 20 King Class Escorts and 1 Soverign Class. Then came a shocking blow to the Shivans.
The Planet Killer Class Ultra Heavy Battle Ship U.S.S Redemption came out of the Warp right in fron of an unfortunate Lucifer Class.
"All Weapons, Fire!"shouted Captain Maxwell
Then the Planet Killer unleashed a devistating 18 Ravager Cannons, 10 Sprial Wave Disruptors, 200 Heavy Lance Cannons, and 10,000,000 Heavy Plasma Injected Triblocat Missiles.
This comlete obliterated the Lucifer and 250 surronding Shivan Vessels (OOC: the others are yours, I figure taking down a Lucifer in Swoop is a big enough dent)

OOC: sorry but rping the destruction of my ships isnt the way things are done anyway. The system you guys are all in where the rift is located is going super nova or are my posts just ignored :? Well look i have subspace inhibitors (Cloaked destabilizing subspace which prevents any form of warp hyperspace well anything within a range of 25 million km of the rift and i believe all you guys have entered that range. So as i see it you have 1 choice be destroyed by the shock wave that will hit in less than 20 seconds or get the hell through that rift. Plus the Lucifer class destroyer is well more powerfull than a Sathanas so one attack aint going to take it out. Well i have that sorted out i will continue with Admiral Bosch, my favourite right hand man. :D

IC the Sathans fleet cleared the Rho system unhinderd by any enemy fleets the Sol system was only 22 minutes away.

Final entry Admiral Aken Bosch: It has been almost a lifetime since i had my first vision of the destroyers. I thought that i could ally with them. Become their masters, oh how wrong was I. In my bid to save humanity by proving our worth to them i foolishly allowed them to become our masters. Will history judge me to be a tyrant bent on destruction or will it hail me as a hero a martyr who did everything in his power to aid humanity? Only time will tell.

My lifes work, my legacy will most likely be known in fear and infamy. It is too late to stop. It is to late too change. i am theirs now.............

OOC This has been transmitted on all frequencys. including the location of the Shivan prep base. destroy that and the Shivans will take years to be able to make a credible assault again. Be warned the Prep base is massive and heavily defended. beware.

IC The Shivan fleet exited hyperspace within the Sol system. The course of the 273 Sathanas warships and the 1 lucifer class destroyer. Behind the fleet the warships are deploying subspace inhibitors to prevent a close jump in behind the Shivan fleet.

Bosch stared out of his window looking in horror as he watched Pluto pass by his viewport. The Sol system the origin of humanity, "What have I done." The weapons were being charged to destroy the defence systems.

OOC: IB, youre gonna need to read my posts that I put up here. Virtually my entire fleet already had breached the rift and were holding stationkeeping positions where the rift is in the realm where the shivans are from. Ther are more than 500 vessels guarding the rift from vessels entering or exiting the rift. But for the sake of the RP we'll have to let this go but it changes everything.

OOC: My ships were quite far away from the Rift at the start, and now, they are chasing you IB. I'm just coming out of that...

And so the Colossus and all the ships engaged Emergency After Burners, rocketing at the same speed as the Shockwave...

"Sir! We can engage...", Liquidus cut him off, "Well tell all ships to Engage their Sub-Space drives! Heading..." Liquidus paused, he was Outcasted, along with his people, from Earth Nearly 100 Years ago, so he had a pristine of Earth. But, there were people on the Colossus, and in the fleet that wanted to see Earth in pristine condition..."Heading...the Solar System." he finished. IC: "Sir! The shockwave is closing!" the Lieutenant shouted over the din of the Bridge. Liquidus looked up, "Tell all ships to engage Emergency Afterburners, lets try and outrun this...

And so the Colossus and all the ships engaged Emergency After Burners, rocketing at the same speed as the Shockwave...

"Sir! We can engage...", Liquidus cut him off, "Well tell all ships to Engage their Sub-Space drives! Heading..." Liquidus paused, he was Outcasted, along with his people, from Earth Nearly 100 Years ago, so he had a pristine of Earth. But, there were people on the Colossus, and in the fleet that wanted to see Earth in pristine condition..."Heading...the Solar System." he finished. Final entry Admiral Aken Bosch: It has been almost a lifetime since i had my first vision of the destroyers. I thought that i could ally with them. Become their masters, oh how wrong was I. And Liquidus watched as the set of co-ords came up. First Earth, then we'll blow away these 's Prep Base! he thought. "All ships this is GA Snake, fire at will..."

Species 1 too had not anticipated this turn of events. But they responded quickly. Realizing that not all of the vessels would reach the rift in time they devised an alternative strategy.

The FTL-inhibitors did indeed prevent normal FTL-flight but the scouts still had an alternative mode of transportation and now they used it. They phased out of normal space to avoid the blast. Unfortunatly the warvessels did not possess this capability due to their size but for them too there was a solution.

The warvessels quickly moved towards each other and joined together. They formed one massive cube with an outer hull that consisted completely out of neutronium. That was accomplished by shifting the plating on the outer vessels. They also linked their energy systems together so that the shield strenght of this big cube was also increased by a large factor. But 5 of the vessels were left out of this manoeuvre, instead they made way to the rift and quickly entered it.

Then came the shockwave and it hit the cube with full force. The shields did not last long and when they collapsed a bright stream of energy engulfed the cube blocking the view. When the shockwave had past the cube became visible once more. It had almost completely gone through the neutronium armour and radiation together with power overloads had damaged all systems on the vessels. But they were still there although they would have to stay linked together until they could remove the armour plating that had fused together under the extreme temperatures. Within an hour they would be ready for combat once more but in the mean time the scouts phased into normal space again and took defensive positions around the warvessels.

ooc: Guys come on. Outer heaven the collossus does not have emergancy afterburners. and how did you get out of the system? I had prevented all and any subspace traffic with inhibators. I would let this pass but iam just being ignored please dont ignore my posts, as well you cant out monouvere the shockwave with the collossus as it can only travel at 500km per second at sub light speed. and Species one how powerfull do you think a supernova is, they shatter planets. PLANETS how on earth do you think any of your vessels could survive if they stay in the sector?? (if the ships that are soon to be operational are in the rift then please accept my appologys as I did not find it very clear). Outer heaven just to let you know the GTVA only has one Collossus and one sathanas can easily destroy it. :P


IC: The shckwave and blast of matter and energy hurtled through the system. The level twenty two shock wave hit the dimensional rift collapsing it entirely. The Shivans would have to find a new way through.
The Lucifer fleet followed the Species 1 vessels through the rift firing at them as they moved. The forward beam cannons of the 10 lucifer ships opened a concentrated pattern of fire upon the species 1 joint cube.

SOL SYSTEM: The Sathans fleet entered range of Earth destroying all automated defenses they were unstopable. The fleet now highly charged with the thirst for destruction targetted the blue pearl, aiming for the major civic centres and highest populated areas. New York, London, Hong Kong, Bejing were the first to be targetted. The Sathanas fleet opened fire.

Just as the Shivan Fleet began to discharge their weapons at the homeworld of mankind, something strange occurred. every single one of the beams from the enemy vessels bent and ricocheted around a single point in space. Sensors from every vessel recorded a massive gravitywave surge eminating from that point in space, and it continued to grow larger exponentially as time went on. Within thirty seconds it had grown to be a massive source of gravitational forces. The "point" had grown in size to about the physical size of Luna but maintained a gravitational potential similar to the Earth itself. once reaching that size, the "point" inverted itself and became a temporal hyperspace corridor that disrupted the shivans ability to lock onto Earth. The temporal inversion that was now orbiting the earth was pulling energy from the space/time continuum of multiple realms to allow the connection between the realm of Humanity and the realm of the Shivans. Within fifteen seconds of the formation of the newest temporal rift, the five hundred plus vessels of Indra Prime that were stuck on the other side of the dimensional barrier came through with weapons blazing. This rift differed from the one that was formed in the Galactc Core as it allowed travel of the hyperspatial corridor only if a certian signal was transmitted and plus the fact that this one was only one way. So the Shivans were not going home and they were not going to be recieving assistance or reinforcements from their home base. This was to be the final battle in the realm of the Humans. The fleets of Indra Prime vessels were in the formation of an impenetrable wall between the Shivan Fleet and the Earth. They unleashed unholy hell into the swarm of enemy vessels taking them out left and right with the temporal weapons that the fleet had been armed with shortly before entering the conflict. Quantum matrix torpedoes and Gravimetric Singularity warheads flew into the fleet, hundreds at a time giving the enemy fleet no chance to withstand such a barrage of weapons fire. Explosion after explosion rocked the enemy vessels preventing them from causing too much damage to the Indran Fleet. From the surface of the Earth, it appeared that there was an unusual lightshow occuring between the Earth and the moon with no obvoius explanation for it. Small singularities began to form amidst the enemy vessels caused by the gravimetric singularity torpedoes. These micro blackholes caused major damage amongst the tightly packed enemy fleet along with the fifteem Temporal Displacement disruptors on board the Phaeralon class vessels that were wreaking havoc on with the superships that were the mosst dangerous of the Shivan Vessels.

The Shivan armada stunned but not beaten turned to manual firing control damage was reported on all decks however the Indra fleet had made one mistake it had jumped in in front of the Shivan warships the forward Beam cannon arrays opened fire tearing holes through the indra vessels while the Shivan vessels themselves were suffering heavy damage.

The Sd lucifer the only ship still targetting earth whil;e the fleet was being engaged switched to manual fireing control realeasing its seering beams of red plama down to what appeared to be one of the Earths largest cities New york. The beams drilled into the city tearing through the sky scrapers as if they were not there. to follow up this attack all capital ships launched their fighters attempt to salvage this engagement.

Heavy bombers dodged the intense weapons of the capital ships one fighter classified S 234 dodged between the claws of one of the sathans class warships however it was to no avail the warship was subsequently destroyed by the weapons of the Indra flagship. The resulting shockwave emmitted from the ships destruction destroyed all fighters within a 2km radius while enflicting heavy damage onto all nearby capital ships. one of the most heavily damaged ships sent a decent course to crash onto the city of Hong Kong there would be no stopping it.

Then from out behind Mars, tore a vast hole in subspace. The entire Metallinauts fleet porued out Lead by the U.S.S. Redemption.

Then the Redemption reared it's true potential the energy ommited from her was of all the sensors in every surrounding fleet. She moved in with the fleet in tail. Then she unleashed everything she had at an unfortunate Lucifer Class. The Lucifer was bombarded by 18 Ravager Cannons, 10 Spiral Wave Disprutptor Cannons, 400 Heavy Lance Cannons, and 100,000,000 Plasma Injected Triblocat Heavy Missiles. This sent a powerful explosion wiping out 50 other Shivan Ships. This attack was not with out retribution, The Shivan fleet dispatched all their fighters and 10 Cruisers at the Redemption. The fighters tried to ding the Redemption with no success. The Cruisers tried and were able to bring her shields to 85% strength. The Redemption powered up to unleash another barrage at the other Lucifers, when she blacked out. Her Power Cores were over loaded she was a sitting duckthe Entire Fleet formed a defensive perimeter around her powerless hulk.

The Shivan Vessel was in the atmosphere of Earth it did seem there was no stopping it. But in a heroic effort a Stiker Class Cruiser rammed it out of the atmoshpere. This was bought with the high price of the ship's destruction with all hands on board.

As the enemy fleet reeled and atempted to fight back against the Indran Forces the Lucifer targeted the lead city on Earth and laid it to ruins. Infuriated the Indra Prime Fleet increased the offensive attacks to a point where it appeared to be impossible to increase it any further. There were seven Phaeralon class vessels all ranging with minor to moderate damage, six of them arranged themselves into a starburst formation with the seventh forming the pinnacle of a hemisphere. Battlecruisers were sprinting in and out of the Phaeralon formation protecting them while they prepare. The six command ships that were positioned radially outwards all fired their Temporal Displacement Disruptors at a point equidistant from each of the six vessels for preparation to fire a single massive shot at the SD Lucifer. Once the star of temporal energy was formed in the center of the circle the seventh Phaeralon class vessel added its TDD to the others. This maneuver had been done only once before in a combat situation and the result was incredible. It completely demolished a planet the size of the first planet of this solar system. However the planet did not have shields so the effect would probably be diminished but would still be potent. The beam that shot out from the reaction point and leashed out at the SD Lucifer. Other Shivan vessels crossed the path of the Temporal Beam and were completely annihilated including one of the capital ships of the enemy. The intensity of the beam was not even phased as it pushed those vessels out of our space/time continuum. The beam struck the lead vessel of the enemy with such force that the ship would become critically damaged if not destroyed by the ferocity of the attack.

Then the U.S.S. Redemption powered up again. She charged the SD Lucifer with 8 Apacolypse and 10 Anger Class Battleships in tail the 18 smaller ship attacked th Lucifer, 16 were outright destroyed 2 were critically damaged. The Lucifer came about. They Redemption and the Lucifer were face to face. Then the Lucifer poured into the redemption. Her sheilds were knocked down and she took quite a beating. She was heavily damaged the Lucifer turned around for the Redemption was no longer a threat. Yet the Redemption used her psychic conduits and opened a hole large enough for her and the Lucifer to enter. The Lucifer was now sealed into the warp for ever. fortunately the crew escaped through escape pods and exited the warp. They rejoined the battle. Cpt. Maxwell now was inchharge of the U.S.S. Dire, a Soverign Class Super Heavy Battle Ship.

I'm too busy to check in for a single night, and look what happens; this RP has degenerated into an utter mess. There's also the fact that IB forgot to account for the fact that some of us might have forces in the Sol system; I know I certaintly had an entire Battleplate sitting in orbit, for just this eventuality. My nation's terrestrial motherland is also sitting under a planetary umbrella shield, in case you were wondering.

Also, just an FYI, but while you guys may have no problem declaring losses for each other, it is in fact a major GodMod that I know I certaintly would never tollerate, nor would it be tollerated in most RPing circles.

The KHGV Slayer of Unwary Gods, the very flagship of the Dominion, had been on the other side of the planet when the Shivans arrived at Earth, in orbit over the Kanuckistani mainland; both on full tactical alert....

Not long befor that, the bulk of the Kanuckistani fleet had been seen charging headlong into the wall of fire as the Shivans destroyed the distant sun....

Now.... Now, the Slayer came about the planet, a quarter trillion pre-launched anti-capital ship missiles in her wake; with the fury of a wrathfull god, the great ship tore into the Shivan fleet with beam and missile, her gravy guns sweeping areas of gravitic sheer a thousand times higher than an event horizon through the enemy fleet as the horde of missiles swarmed past her...

And then, in a burst of fire, like the pheeonix reborn, the entire Kanuckistani battlegroup joined the battle; apearing ten thousand kilometers befind the Shivan line in a burst of solar plasma carried in their jump's wake, seemingly unharmed, their weapons lanced forth at the attackers, seeking shivan blood.

Missiles were delivered from missile batteries around planets in the Home Cluster by superfreighter and slaved to the Slayer's tactical control systems via zero-point datacomms.

My armada ran at the nova shielded by their spatial inversion shields, then jumped shortly after the rift collapsed; enough solar plasma was carried along to make a nifty light show, but that's it.

Ok shivans are defeated. This was my first space rp and really the only two decent players are Indra and Kanuckistan. I would very much like to rp with you again however the rest of you just god mode to musch i sugest the you go and read the stickies on rping. Well hopefully we can rp again Indra and Kanuckistan.

OOC: I would have to agree with the post of Kanuckistan and IB. There was no order to these battles and things that occurred were just blatantly ignored. Perhaps we can do this again when some people decide to actually know what they are doing. And IB, not a bad first attempt. If you think about it, that ain't so much for fleets that take out several universes.

OOC: When you're talking about whole universes, you've got a metric buttload of space to cover with your fleet; strategicly, there was little reason for them to assign any more ships than deemed necessary - logisticly, there was every reason to minimise fleet deployment.

Besides, a GM going Uber N00b will only get said GM ignored; a plot device like the Shivans gives you a bit more latitude than RPing a normal nation, but you can only go so far.

But no reason to keep it secure. After all, there were no alien survivors. So they could mobilise the entire fleet. Shivans originate from subspace, so I don't believe they require sustainance, at least not in the traditional sense.
(I don't actually go uber n00b. But I would have been tempted. Also, the shivans would have likely planned the incursion for some time Logistics would be in hand. )
