Statement from CL Energy Department
Chairman Paradi

With recent conflicts with Grassroots, we within in the energy department fill a need to slow the usage of gas within Louisiana, and her Mongus parish. Gas has been set at 1.00 per gallon for the last 12 years. We have decided and have been granted permission to raise the price to 1.75 per gallon.

We hope that this will slow the usage of gas and make alltenative transportation more used. I would like to point out that we have NO gas shortage and their is no need for alarm. We just fill that inflation in our economy and conflicts with enimes may strain our oil supplies that are being traded to our allies. We are now beging to cancel all trade relations in the patroleum sectors of trade. We will still continue to trade just not with patroleum.

This price will be lowered once conflicts in Grassroots have ceased. We also believe to have found a rather large deposit of natural gas and patrolium fields in Communist Mongus. We will be doing further research and we will then find the best means to tap these natural resources.

*The Chairman is asked by a reporter "What do you hope the higher gas price will do for the economy Chairman?"

We hope with recent events that it will slow the usage of the gas so we can again fill our reserves to their max level. Any more questions reporters?

*THis is aimed towards new agencies. If your country has a news station which wishes to ask questions about the actions being tooken, then fill free to.*
