With the fall of the Extra Solar Union of Systems, the future looked bleak for all who followed under the banner of the once widespread Alliance of Planets. The systems in question fell into what appeared to be a dark age in innerstellar travel for all nations even remotely involved in the alliance. That is until the Sovreign Nation of Indra Prime stepped up and took the reigns of the Extra Solar Union of Systems. Bolstered with temporal technology the ESUS grew once again into the Allied Body that it once was. The Restored ESUS began to make its way back into the public viewpoint of the rest of the Galaxy. All nations are welcome to apply for membership with the ESUS.

Our Aim
We wish to establish an interstellar trading network, benefiting the economies of all our members. Trade of technology and resources, and mutual defence agreements shall allow us to grow and expand, while maintaining our original intentions: to allow members to prosper in a stable environment.

Section I - Basic Agreements



Member nations agree to abide by ESUS alliance laws and mandates, on punishment of ejection and trade sanctions.

All member states agree never to infringe upon the sovereignty of other ESUS alliance members, nor shall the ESUS alliance impose upon the sovereignty of member nations.

Forced use of member nation space without prior consent of the owner will result in a warning, and if further violations take place, ejection from ESUS.

Forced use of ESUS member space by non-alliance members will result in a state of war being declared.


Section II - Laws



In the occurrence of a conflict between member nation sovereign laws and ESUS alliance laws, negotiations shall be opened within a neutral party's space, and compromises reached.

All member nations shall enact laws if voted upon and passed by a minimum of 80% majority.

All member nations may use the stellar space of other member nations for trade and/or peaceful operations, if doing so does not affect local business.

Use of member space for military use by alliance members, not directed at other alliance members, is permitted so long as action is sanctioned by ESUS vote.

Use of non-ESUS member space for military purposes is at the discretion of the owner.

Use of ESUS space for military activities not related to ESUS is at the discretion of the owner.


Section III - Military Action



Upon military action against a member state by foreign aggressors, all member nations must donate aid in the form of either food, financial aid or military aid.

There is no set limit for the amount of aid given, but aid must be given or face ejection from ESUS.

If military action against a member state is considered to be unfair and/or a godmod, the entire ESUS alliance will enact a state of ignore on the said godmodders.

In line with the ESUS alliance not interfering with individual nation's sovereignty, the alliance constitution does not prohibit declarations of war by any member state, so long as it is not against another member.

If such a war takes place, then other ESUS members are exempt from Section III, section A. Aid may still be given, but at the discretion of individual members.

No member of the ESUS alliance may declare war upon another member unless said action has been passed by a majority vote.


Section IV - Trade



All trade barriers between member worlds shall be eliminated, bringing greater profit and greater quantities of goods.

ESUS is declared as being economically neutral. This is neither a Communist nor Socialist alliance, no more than a Capitalist alliance. The laws of ESUS trade are to ease relations, as well as benefit the economies of all member nations.

Trade of technology is encouraged between member nations. This will allow greater seamless integration of troops during times of war.

Resources are encouraged to be shared. This will in turn promote trade and ease relations.



Section V - Member State Rights



Any member may propose a change to the constitution, where it will be voted upon by member states, and if passed, added.

Notice to all member and future prospective member nations:

When applying for membership in the ESUS alliance, we will need a detailed record of all spatial holdings controlled by your nation and her subsidiaries for record keeping by the Alliance.

Positions of leadership will need to be fulfilled before the signing of the final Treaty between our respective worlds. Any requests for positions will need to backed up by reason of explanation and a clear and concise statement why your nation should be chosen as a leader in this alliance.

We extend an invitation to all members of the old ExtraSolar Union of Systems to rejoin this alliance and make it supercede the glory it once held.

To keep the members actively aware of the current activities of the leadership of the ESUS, we are currently in heavy negotiation with the Galactic Defence Alliance for a mutual non aggression pact as well as a substantial trade agreement between our two alliances. Any suggestions as to the contents of the treaties need to be made ASAP.

I'd wondered what happened to the ESUS after their BBS went down(tho I'd hardly call it a dark age :P). I'd be willing to sign up again, tho like last time, 'removal of trade barriers' cannot include my rather draconian customs policies around the Home Cluster.

Kanuckistan, we are glad to have you back with us once again. Customs policies of each individual nation will be assessed for possible renegotiation, however, as a previous member of the ESUS, and with our foreknowledge of your "draconian" customs policies, we accept you back into the Restored Extra-Solar Union of Systems. Welcome back!

We will need a list of the delegates that will be sent by each nation to the groundbreaking treaty signing that will take place at a place and time to be determined. Once the treaty has been ratified by all member nations we will be able to restart operations.

Moontian will be sending four diplomats, but it is unknown who they are as yet.

The place and time have been decided for the groundbreaking treaty signing. The Restored Extra-Solar Union of Systems will officially be reintroduced to Galactic Civilization two days hence, on the Famous Pleasure Planet Rhetalia, owned and operated by the nation of Indra Prime. The planet in question has a policy of no tolerance for weapons of any kind to be allowed on the surface. Every nation who will be at the signing will need to indentify who will be coming to the ceremony and who will be signing for their country. Nations also in attendance must agree to possess no weapons on the planet as it will disturb the local inhabitants. All nations are requested to be at the signing.

The Metallinauts will be there our delegates have changed. We will be sending Cpt. Maxwell our brightest Navy Captain and leader of the Navy, Farseer Eldrad Ulthwe who is the Emporer of a lesser race who first told us of the ESUS and is part of our solar system, and General McManus head of our army. We will come in an unarmed transport craft, though we will be escorted by the 3rd fleet, we can't too trusting at this time, the universe is an unsafe place

Metallinauts, your diplomats and military officers are welcome, but be forewarned, that your fleet will be halted at the edge of the planetary system by the Indra Prime 2nd Fleet. They are stationed in that system to protect the high class clientelle that owns property in that system. All vessels requesting landing procedures will be scanned for weaponry and if detected, will face an armed squadron within a matter of seconds.

Emperor Black and two members of The Black Guard will attend this ceremony. We agree to not bring any weaponry into the system this conference is being held on, however the 3rd Iron Navy will be standing by out of the system should need for it arise.

Random Fact: Admiral David McKenzie was also the commanding officer of the attack on the CorpSac homeworld, in which said planet was destroyed in retaliation for CorpSac's destruction of an NPC world via novabomb.

Regarding: Application for Wormian membership in ESUS

In light of recent interstellar cooperation between the two respective nations, the Temporal Research Commission of Indra Prime and the Federated Stellar Republics of Wormia, the latter, has, on the majority, consented within reason to apply for membership in the Restored Extra Solar Union of Systems.

Wormia is in a bit of economic struggle at the moment, but is capable of maintaining and supporting fielded military units and feeding our people at the same time.

So far, only three of our systems are known. Normandeicht (gee, I wonder why), A system that Feazanthia or someone pulled from a cruiser's computer core, and a system that Industrial Experiment stumbled upon. Juumanistra is one of two nations that know where Atheos Prime is.

The Most Serene Republic of DemonLordEnigma wishes entrance into this alliance, feeling it is beneficial to myself and those I am allied with.

At current, all of my territory amounts to the region of space above my nation and a small, uninhabited planet I discovered quite by accident which shows no sign of claiming. I have called it Soretas for the time being.

In addition, I am helping the security of the nations in the region of the Allied Nations of Furcadia by sending my ships on regular patrols through their space, which has my fleet spread quite thin at the moment.

Despite being a young nation, I feel my people can at least attempt to offer something to this alliance.
