OOC: The Aerial assault didn't work out so well, we lost the plot and decided outside of NS to restart. Admin duties first. Closed RP, Lapse, Nymar, and SR only. Ally involvement is negiocable.

The small party arrived on the little island, halfway between SR and Lapse. It wasn't owned by anyone, but tonight it waas SR's little piece of terrain. Troopers began putting up radiation warning signs and guarding their shipment of radioactive weapons, now to be decomissioned. The insurgents from a nation deep inside Bristle, Nymar, had sold out to SR. The small nation wasn't quite yet developed enough to have a strong coastguard. Lapse couldn't be everywhere at once, though he tried. The people had to fight to get out here, especially since normal SR patrols didn't know about this operation. This was the highest secrecy mission SR had. SR had to strike back against Lapse. Of course, their contact didn't look like he was from SR, and he took the caution to stay away from SR patrols. If they saw him, they'd open fire, but they were all loaded with blank bullets so nobody would be killed. The troopers didn't know about the operation either. Only SR's top brass and this guy knew. There wasn't going to be any connection to SR at all...

"Bitter cold night it is... so I'll make this quick. In these canisters is Anthrax, the airborne variety, and Ebola. We're not expecting much with the Ebola, but the Anthrax we have a chance. Here are your orders. You're heading back to Nymar, and from there to Lapse. Three of you will shove your Anthrax into a small McLapse burger box, and leave it near an air conditioning duct in three major shopping centres. The fourth member is going to try to get this Ebola into the water supply. If you do, good on you, but your main job is to distract Lapse to a different area. Fake intelligence is currently floating ashore to Lapse that a terrorist group known as Shadow Guard is going to be hitting a Lapse water supply on the north side of the island. That is where the Ebola will go.

Now, if you're caught for some reason, swallow the pill. I can't tell you what's in it, but it'll ensure they can't extract information from you. Once the deed is done, report back to here for your, uh, reward. Also, ensure that SR doesn't find out about this. If they do, there's a good chance they'll find and kill you before this mission is finished. Good luck."

The SR commander in disguise walked off and hid in the bushes, before changing into a SR Standard Trooper uniform. The terrorists slipped away in the boat.

The next morning
A small boat approached the island from last night, only to find it swarming with SR nuclear troopers checking radiation levels. The whole place was a nuke zone, and off limits. The island was screwed; the wildlife wern't going to live, but SR were trying to cover over their old nukes as much as possible.

The five contacts from last night were now being inspected by Lapse boarder patrol. Their canisters were false bottomed; above was fine Lapse beer and wine, below, the canister of doom.

The plan was now entering phase one....

tag... im just going to read up on ebola and anthrax before i start.

The Bristilian gunboat pulled up beside the old rusting ship. It had been saeen on radar moving in a way taht demonstated either they were in trouble or they were causing troubled. When hailed though they had no worries pulling up next to the gunboat.
"Good day captain" said the commander on the gunboat, Leiuteneant Lerchant.
"uh...hi" said the captain of the cargo ship, "Whaddayawant?"
"Just a cursory inspection to make sure you havent been getting into any trouble" said Lerchant with a chuckle
"Me!!" exclaimed the captain jokingly
"Oh well, we may as well get on with the show. So, first off, what is your destination?" Asked Lerchant
"Citrana, your capitol" replyed the Merchant captain
Lerchant scribbled down a note on his pad "And you came from?"
"Nymar" he said with little hesitation. almost too little hesitation.
"And your cargo?" Asked Lerchant
"Fine Lapse beer and wine Sir" replied the merchant.
"Oh, really. could i inspect this fine Lapse beer and wine" said the Leiutenant suspiciously
"Yes sir, its below decks." The skipper led the leutenant below decks to look at the crates. When the leiuteneant looked at the labels he saw 'Mount Bendigo Chiraz. 1997 vintage' on the label.
"So skipper, any particular reason why you are shipping Lapse wines from Nymar to lapse?" The Leiutenant said with a glimmer in his eyes. He called up to his seond in command. "Search this boat completely, i smell a rat."

"They're on recall sir. Apparently there's something wrong with them. But I don't find anything wrong with them... look!"
The captain took a glass and drank some.
"Horrible stuff, but still nothing wrong with it. I was orederd to bring it back."
The crew started milling around, watching the Lapse forces as they searched. Thankfully, the false bottoms were welded on almost seamlessly; someone would have to be specifically looking for it to be found. Even then, it matched with the contour of the bottle; unless they emptied the entire bottle into the sea (probably a bad option) they wouldn't see the bottom of the bottle. Even then, they'd be hard pressed to find a reason to open it up...

The captain composed himself. He was starting to get a little worried. But no, he was better now. He was worried before; SR patrols on that little island almost found him and his leader, Orillion, of The Order. If they had, it'd be all over for them... with execution.

"on recall you say, strange, it appears as if no crate shave been opened." the Leiutenant said.
"Im just the delivery man sir." said the skipper
"Yes, i know. anyway, lets see your papers. for your transportation of this material." replied the Leiutenant

OOC: Please dont make the insurgents give an answer to a question that affects the outcome of the RP, for example, the creates. They've been repacked, but the insurgent didn't get a chance to respond. I'm posting it now.

The skipper watched as the leiutenant walked around and looked at the creates.
"Repacked sir, by oreder of deliery. No create, as far as I'm aware, is allowed to be open during transit.. it's unsanatary sir."

OOC: SR's Leuitenants are called "leuitents" pronounced like ther german version of Leuitenant.

Back at SR
Commander Soldant looked at the trooper infront of him. He held documents and papers detailing what he saw. "Well leuitnent... what do you have to say?"
"Commandant Soldant SIR! I have seen these people with Orilian of The Order! They are transfering something, sir!"
"Yes leuitent, I can see this."
"Sir... sir they're..."
"I know what they're doing leuitnet!"
"But sir-"
"Yours is not to reason why, your's but-"
"-to do and die, sir."
"Then I want you to forget whatever you saw out there, understand?"
"Sir yes sir!"
"Leuitent! Dismissed!""

OOC": yeah, sorry, although if he was just the delivery man he has a better excuse, the delivery person doesnt usually know much about what happened before the journey.

"anyway, produce your papers skipper" said the leiutenant

OOC: Just tell me how many days ago you left Nymar, what your cargo was according to nymar officials

"Here sir! I departed Nymar 5 days ago, but I was dispatched to a small island 1/3 of the way to assist stranded men. After picking them up, I returned here. My cargo is fine Lapsian beer, foodstuffs, consumer goods, H-Fuel and oxygen tanks"

"So where are these stranded men now?" inquired the leuiteneant

One of the men had a smile on his face as a bad smell entered the cargo bay.
"There, sir... Feel free to take them."

"Take these men up to the ship, I want to question them. And you," he said motioning towards the captain, will come as well."

The Leiutenant led the men to the Bristilian gunboat. He questioned each of the 'stranded' men individually, looking for a contradiction. After that h took the Captain below decks.
"Captain, what would you do if i were to say that you are doing somthing illegal or the like?" the leiutenant said looking for any reaction.

The men had held well, bar one. He'd slipped up... he was a regular crew member, he was just bussled along with the rest of them... he was sure he'd seen SR troopers... or did he?

"I would request a reason why you have done such a thing, consult with my government, union, employeer, lawyer, and fight your judgement to the death unless you have a valid reason. My orders are, as far as I know, legal. If you have a problem with them, take it up with the company. I'm just the grunt who does thw work."

The captain shot a dirty look at the Leiutenant.

"Captain, we will take these men back to nymar. We would also like to take you into Lapse and reward you for your actions which saved these mens lives." Said the Leuitenant. "Just hold out and we will get a ship to come and take these stranded people off your hands. then we will escort you to your final location and you will recieve your reward."

The captain was worried. This was extremely unexpected. But this was how it had to be...

He would let them reward him, then carry out his job by himself. It would be possible... difficult, but possible. The probability of him being caught was extremely high, and they wouldn't infect as many, but it would work.

"Thank you sir!"

OOC:Catfish Gunboat comes, takes 'stranded' back to nymar, Bristilian gunboat escorts captain and cargo ship to lapse.
Any objections , or if you wanted to play another hand with the 'stranded' or somthing...
otherwise lets just jump to the port....

When the two ships came into harbour at Lapse a reception was waiting at the docks. There were several high class politicians waiting froim both Lapse and Nymar.
"Captain [whatever the captains name is], we would like to present you with this medal for rescuing the stranded people. along with this you get a free MCLapse burger next time you are in town" said a lapse Politician
"err... thanks" said teh captain.
"But even better" continues the politician "we would like to offer you an assignment shiping Lapse Rum to other areas around the world. The pay is almost triple what we would pay a regular cargo freighter, but you must start within the hour. Would you like this job captain. any sane freighter would take it."

The captain looked at the McLapse burger, the symbol of everything that had come this far. "Eat me! No wait... infect me!" screamed the burger. The captain looked. "I don't think I'm up to Lapse run shipments just yet... thank you for the offer, but no thanks."

the politician sighed. "okay, arrest him guards" the guards came and arrested the captain. "sir, you have been found suspicious of attempting to harm Lapse or allies. we are taking you in for questioning and we will searcxh your boat. you have the right to a lawyer, write a book, and go on today tonight. You may contact your country of origin under supervision of guards." the politician breathed. "we have also detained your 'stranded' friends in Nymar, they will be transported here shortly for your trial. Your actions will be recorded. If you resist arrest it will be held as a charge against you."
"Dont under estimate BIO captain" said the leiutenant

The reporter rushed into the SR properganda department. A man sat ripping off an old SR-Bristle Missile Crisis poster and updating it for now. "Sir! Check THIS out!"
The man looked at the paper. It read that Lapse arrested a man who was supposed to have something to do with harming Lapse citizens. What Lapse HADN'T said to his people, is that it was due to a stranded person reportedly seeing an SR Trooper on the island they were wrecked on. Suspected. Hmm.

The man ran and got their top media people. Within days, it was released:

"LAPSE DETAINS MAN OVER SUSPECTED VISION OF 3RD PARTY!"
Approved by the SR Censorship Office.

It was a scandal all throughout SR, and later SRC. It was only a matter of time before the story drifted over to Lapse. The only question was, would the Lapse government allow it?

At a public Lapse press conference:
Supreme overlord Time lapse: "Some of you may have heard rumors of us detaining a suspected SR agent. This is true. We are detaining this person because he has being affiliated with SR troops, on an island we are monitoring around halfway between here and SR. It is confirmed there are SR troopers there. It is this island where he supposedly picked up the stranded person. This person, has mentioned teh SR troopers there. We are going to hold this person until we trial him. we will search the ship he was on, even if it means stripping it. We believe that we must check this man, for the safety of everyone in this nation. Some of you may not approve of this practice, but we believe that if we do not do this, then we are all in danger. If the man is found innocent, he will be givn compensation for the trouble, and be flown back home, and there be issued with a larger ship."

The SR forces started to move weapons onto the small island to defend themselves. It was a toxic waste dump, but if Lapse was watching SR was going to teach them to leave well alone.

Back at home Commander Soldant hosted his own press confrence, although a little more interesting than Lapse's

"His remarks are bullshit! Why the hell would we send a guy into Lapse? No man deserves to go there unless he's going there to tear it down after we've NUKED IT!"

"But Commander! Mr Commander!"

OOC: Cut short. Family emergency.

Sorry for the break in posting, but something really serious happened that demanded my attention. I'll finish my turn now.

"Look, all of you can just back off. SR isn't doing anything about the stupid idiot stuck over there, and Lapse can sure as hell go to hell if he's going to start flinging accusations around! I'd watch my tone of voice Mr Lapse before you decide to start accusing SR!"

Back at the SR Confrence Room
"Shit... Commander Soldant yanked our funding. It's all over."
The Officers were walking around, talking about the recent problem.
"Well... let's just ignore the whole thing... if he does it, he does it. If not, then we just burn the files and nobody knows nothing."
"Yes but... hmm. I don't know. This was an excellent opportunity... it's not yet over!"
"Look, all of you. The Commandant has pulled our funding! That means we'd be going against the orders of The Commandant and the SR government! Do you know what that would mean?"

They all knew very well. The last Officer who was suspected of trading information to Lapse was lead into a cell, in freezing weather, and then executed publically by firing squad.

"Hmm. I don't want to get caught by the Commandant."
"It's Commander..."
"It's Commandant! See? It rhymes: Commandant Soldant!"
"LISTEN TO YOURSELVES! You're squabbling over how to pronounce the title of your Commandant! And it doesn't matter! Within SR it's Commandant, outside it's Commander, so people understand! Alright? Now all of you shut up. We're not going to go against the Commandant, and that's that!"

They all looked at the map and news headlines laid out on the table.

"Fine... if he does it, he does it, and we won't say a damn word. Burn all the files."

Troopers walked into the room, took the filing cabinet, opened up a small room with a blast proof door, wired up the cabinet with explosives, closed the door, punched in a number on the keypad, sealed the door then stood on either side. For a while, nothing happened. Then a small "boom" sounded, and the troopers pushed another button, and re-opened the doors. The filing cabinet was gone.

"It's done."

In a large shed, the boat sat, whilst a group of Lapse specialists investigated it. they tore it to shreads.they investigated the motor, the oil, and even every bottle of wine was tested to come up negative. n earing the end of the fourth day, a discovery was made. Miniscule traces of fresh gunpowder were found on the floor. they sent this information onto supremem overlord time lapse, who ordered someone to question the captain about.

ooc: what did the man say to teh questioning

The captain looked at them.
"Gunpowder?"
This was news... his ship was an ex-munitions ship, but that had been a long time ago. Where the hell did gun powder come from?

"I can't explain where the gunpowder came from... I don't have any weapons. The ship was a munitions ship a long time ago... I honestly don't know."

"hmm," continued the person questioning the captain, "this appears to have being very recent, only from several days before we found you. would have any of your crew members had any of the gun powder on them. would have anyone come aboard since you left Nymar who had gunpowder with them, or in their clothes?"

"No sir. We have no weapons of any kind. I do not know where gunpowder came from*

OOC: This is the truth, I have no idea where the hell you managed to get gunpowder from.

"ok, let nme put this in more easy to understand terms. This gunpowder traces are fresh. did you have any contact prior to us meeting you with people who had weapons?"
