“The Dead Walk” reads headlines in newspapers across the nation of Slayn. Millions of citizens in Slayn are scared and concerned as sightings of undead increase. Scientists are looking into a possible Solanum outbreak as fringe mad-scientists have been reportedly testing with new viral strains. The heads of the Wizards School are also looking into the dealings of the Black Mages, as their magical theories have on more than one occasion been linked to the macabre. The Head Advisor of the School, and nation founder, has advised citizens to be alert, and stay clear of any suspected undead. “If they have been revived through magical means, then they may have a deeper agenda. If viral, we don’t know the seriousness of the outbreak.” Members of the school of White Magic have been dispatched in an attempt to control and destroy any of the undead they come across.

Castillovanian News reports that zombies have been sighted in the forests of Castillovania. At this point in time 5 people have gone missing in Castillovania, and the nation’s leader Count Luv has made a formal announcement. Military forces are looking into containing, and destroying the zombies. General of the Castillovanian Free Army Wesley “The Black Bomber” Barker said of the situation, “It’s a terrible night for a curse.”

'Sir!' A lieutenant entered hysterically into the presidents office with a newspaper in hand, the president woke up quickly and quickdrawed a Colt 1911A1.
"Huh!? What!? Viva la nacion!!!" He began to open fire until the weapon was empty, the lieutenant was lucky enough to survive the shooting.
'Gracias el niño verde'
"Lieutenant? What do you want I'm.... uhhh.... busy with the nation, or whatever I'm suppoused to be doing"
'Sir, look at this' The lieutenant gave Vico the newspaper.
"The dead walk! Holy mother of jesus second cousin half-brother!"
'Should we do something sir?'
"Yes, raise the national army to red level"
'But... we are alredy at red level sir, remember, the border?'
"Ohhh? Ohhhh yeah... raise it to black level"
'What's that?'
"The hell if I know, just make a whole new level and place troops in bigger alert, that's all"
'Whatever you say sir' The lieutenant saluted the president and left the room.

As news of zombies spread across the region of Lodoss, Boersma-La officials have made subsequent moves to contain specimens and test them. It is uncertain as to what Boersma-La is using collected zombies for, but since the erection of the wall surrounding their nation, everything within has become secret. Spies within the terrorist based nation have leaked information to the Press involving the highly developed cloning program and robotics industry used in Boersma-La, and a product called the Fighting Engine Zombies, or F.E.Z.’s. It is yet to be determined what a device like this could be used for.
