Element 119 discovered!

Top scientists at Possessedâ„¢ Labs have found a method for making Element 119 or Possessium. Our methods only make a small amount at a time but once it has been produced, it remains stable if stored in the right conditions.
It has very interesting properties much unlike it was predicted to have. Possessium reacts slightly with air but when put in water, violently reacts giving of the green gas Possessium Dioxide. This gas temporarily paralyzes anyone who breathes it in. The effect of paralysis will last for around 2 weeks.
We have bottled this gas and are willing to sell:
Bottles of Possessium Dioxide for $500 each.
Samples of Possessium for $500 a milligram.
Information on how to produce Possessium and Possessium Dioxide - Pleases Telegram me to discuss a deal.
Bottles will be sent via Possessedâ„¢ Couriers.
Samples will be delivered in an armored jeep.

it would half a half life of under 30 seconds i believe

Is this the same stuff your scientists discovered after a disaster a while ago?

When first experimenting with it, we assumed that it would only last for milliseconds before decomposing into other elements. This however was not the case as I have already explained. Thank you for you input anyway.

"The Ministry of Science has agreed to fund the pruchase of nine kilograms of Possessium for the purposes of research and investigation. Pending the acknowledgement of the shipment a cash money transfer will be routed through our holdings in the Swiss National Bank"

Underwater Assylum. No, that was a different substance a diferent group of reasearchers were working on. Sadly, we have no more information on how that was produced although there are some reasearch teams working on it.

Hasn't element 119 already been discovered?

10 grams of Possesium. We'll send a heavily armed warp bot to pick it up. It will have the credits.

OOC: I agree with CF. I'm not sure what element it is though

Rotovia, your order is confirmed coming to a total of $4.5 billion. At the present time, we have 5kg in stock. This will be delivered to you immediatly. Our teams will be producing another batch later today and the remaining 4kg will be dilvered early tomorrow.

I hate to burts your bubble but youd have to defy the laws of physics but ill shut up now anyway

Before this discovery, there was no Element 119.

OOC: At least it isn't a element with an atomic number of 288 (I've seen it claimed once) but it's no worries... you seem to have the basics figured out...

But i belive that 114 or 118 has a half live of 30 seconds so this one would be tiny they have only ever detected francium as a wave length and thats what? 80 something

OOC: Your probably right... I remember it being something like that. But I'm too tired to be bothered right now... I'd need to read about it all again. Anyways, he's not claiming bombs with it yet, so it's not something I'm going to argue about.

It has been theorized that somewhere in the high (114-122) element range that there are several "islands of stability" where a particular element won't decompose as rapidly as its peers. I use Xenium, a home grown isotope of Unnilpentium (I probably didn't spell that one right. :)), and that is element 115.

I would say that possessium would have to have a half-life of less than 10 seconds; because the increases in atomic number coincide with decreases in half-lifespan.

Oh and Unnilpentium was element number 105, not 115, which is ununpentium.
