The government and people of Ad Astra regret to inform the international community that, in response to Hammering's blatant disregard for both international etiquette and human life, we have been forced to take military action.

In the interests of human rights, a small team of Hammeringian scientists, currently in Ad Astra on a expedition to analyse the habitats and habits of the Norwegian Ridgeback, will be offered sanctuary in the government quarters of Ad Astra City, where they will be offered every comfort and privilege afforded to Ad Astran citizens. To protect their safety, we regret that we are currently unable to make provisions to send them home.

We advise the United States of Hammering that military manoeuvres will commence shortly. Should they wish to prevent this action, we are open to negotiations.

there is no need for fighting, im sure we can come to some arrangement !

The Government and People of Ad Astra thank the United States of Hammering for their prompt response.

If there is no resolution in 48 hours, Isochronous will have no choice but to intervene.

OOC Whoa, Rotovia! Their two countries might take a month to work this out.....and unless they ask, they can do it on their own, and that wouldn't result in any casualties (probably)......Perhaps you should change your stance to "you will be monitoring the situation, and will intervene if talks break down"? Don't want to see any conflict that could have been averted....

Same goes for Isochronous....

The Governments of Ad Astra and the United States of Hammering would like to jointly issue the following statement:

'The current conflict between our nations is an entirely private matter. We will tolerate no unilateral intervention by any other nation in this matter and will take the strongest measures against any nation who sees fit to interfere in our affairs.

'We are currently in negotiations and request that these talks are not disturbed by those nations so trigger-happy as to intervene in the affairs of sovereign nations.'
