This model 747-400ER is brand new right off the production lines with all of the stops. EMP-shielding, self-defense systems, communications, etc. It makes the current US AF One look like nothing.
The Emperor plans to fly to an allie with this plane within weeks of the fall of Dnalkrad.

Naturally in an RP the following facts would be ignored since these are classified. I am declaring them just to do so. In the future they will not be able to be contested.
This new aircraft features EMP shielding against both direct-strike weapons and against nuclear weapons. Self-defense is provided through advanced jamming systems, chaff bundles, and flares. Electronic jamming is highly effective against all threats air and ground jamming all known bands of radar wave. IR suppression systems in effect reduce the IR signature of the aircraft significantly. The carriage of AIM-9, AIM-120, and AIM-179 missiles is possible. A ventral bay, usually empty can be fitted with up to 6,000 lb. of ordinance correlating to four AIM-9 and eight AIM-120 or four AIM-9 and eight AIM-179. These are usually not carried as the aircraft flies with escorts all the time. Contrail eliminating systems are also employed.
Satellite uplink and advanced communication systems are done in such ways that they cannot be jammed or intercepted. Secure lines allow for direct connections anywhere in the globe and at that allow untainted lines as well.
The aircraft is capable of mid-air refueling and crew quarters are arranged so that the crew can rotate shifts, thereby maintaining a constant in-flight pattern. Developments into in-flight resupplying are underway but have thus proved unsuccessful.
The aircraft is equiped with an escape pod that descends to the ground via parachutes deployed at low altitudes. There are a total of ten escape pods throughout the aircraft.
A strengthened hull allows the aircraft, in the event of an attack, to withstand larger explosions then previous versions. Warheads with any less than fifty-pounds of explosives will only damage the aircraft.
Small arms on the aircraft itself help prevent mid-air takeover. Identification is required throughout the plane through the use of both fingerprint and retnal scans. Voice-prints are used in addition as well as full hand analaysis in the most secure places on board the aircraft.
