OVERVIEW: The 1st true 21st century nuclear submarine to be designed as a multi-purpose platform. She is designed as an escort for battle groups, an attack sub, a cruise missile launcher, a special ops sub, an intel platform and many other uses.

WEAPONS

Launched by 10 x 26.5 in torpedo tubes

She has 80 weapons spaces and can carry the following weapons:

Mk-48 ADCAP anti-sub/ship torpedo, takes up 1 space
Harpoon anti-ship missile, takes up 1.5 spaces
TLAM tommahawk land attack missile, cruise missile: 2 spaces, can be nuclear armed
TASM: tommahawk anti-ship missile, anti-ship cruise missile: 2 spaces, can be nuclear armed
SLMM: sea launched mobile mines: each can be launched and maneuvered to a set position: .5 spaces

SAMs: 4 VLS launched SA-11 missiles with a range of 20 miles: reloads are carried at a cost of .3333 space in the weapon racks

STEALTH measures:

This sub has AENOIC tiles along the hull to absorb active SONAR rays
The pump filters for the nuclear reactor produce 25% of the noise of the USS Seawolf. This makes detection virtually impossible.
The ships surfaces in the interior are mainly rubber coated to absorb sounds.

Special/Intel missions

This ship can comes with the option for a 32 man wet/dry compartment for SEALs or other special forces. This is attached to the top of the deck aft of the conning tower or sail. The pices is $75 million extra.

At the cost of 10 torpedo spaces, special intelligence gear for spy missions and surveillance can be added. Costs are based on what you spend on your own equipment and not charged here.
