Portugal Today Headline-Portugal Novo Declares Independance

12-04-2004, 07:04
After years of distraught from a corrupt dictator, terrorist attacks by the terrorist group, PLAGUE, and a famine which led to the deadly Black Apple disease, Portuguese citizens were fed up, and needed change, fast. Civil War broke out, but dictator John Philip Souza stayed in power, and his army left a death toll of 986,451.
Wild Seven, a notorious anti-government guerilla group came to rescue, and began bringing peace to the countryside, and the city of Lisbon declared its independance as the government had no control of the country. The rest of the country became Portugal, while the city became Lisboa. The people in Portugal became poor and malnourished, while the food supply in Lisboa was dry. Wild Seven soon gathered forces, and sacked Lisboa.
Dictator Souza fled the country, while Tony Saca, founder of Wild Seven, became King and united Portugal. The new country became Portugal Novo, Portuguese for New Portugal, and the countrys people began looking into the future.

The Confederacy of Alderande congratulates the new King Tony Saca. We hope that Portugal Novo will grow in peace and will find John Philip Souza to keep him in prison.

We'd enjoy to keep contact with your nation.

Welcome to the world. Perhaps an exchange of embassys and ambassaders in in store.

God bless
