In the last month, with your requests for my 3d modelling skills, I have managed to improve my skills greatly, and have even begun replacing everything on my storefront with 100% original material.

I even learned how to draw airplanes!

Heck, maybe I'll learn to draw mecha for my CC storefront!

Anyway, since 'Raysia' got deleted, I lost all your telegram requests. If you guys could please resend your requests, or post them here, I'll try to get to them this week!

Ahoy Raysia! Do you do request? I recieved a heads up from my friends thread The UIGC (hes a friend of mine who helps in drawing the ships, he made the Nation basically as an excuse to show people on the web his ship designs)

Anyways, I am not sure what I could give in compensation, other then about 10 other sketch ideas for ships you could use.. but if youd like to mess around with the designs here

We'd much appricate it :)

Is that his uber-big battleship? 1/4 mile long or something? Or was it half? It was huge. Unmanagable and godmodish.

3,000 foot battleship? Modern times impossible. If he was way future tech yeah but when we asked he said it was modern tech. Plus it had 30" main guns. Not anytime soon.

It's getting early. 0237 hell I'm off to bed soon myself. It should be impressive in the morning. I need to find myself a really good aircraft carrier picture. I'm not entirely satisfied with the one I am using now for my Enterprise class. Basically it looks like the Nimitz but has some improvements. It's the pride of the Imperial Layarteb Navy. That and the Layarteb-class battleship. Mmm Mmm good!

THIS is surprisingly hard, with all the weird curves:

If I could somehow put that image into lightwave, it'd work, but I don't know how :P

One great thing about studying Maritime Design is you do actually know whats possible and whats not :D That said, I sure as hell wouldnt have built it.

3,000 foot ship would be so heavy that it would take forever to get up to speed and once you did not only would it take miles and miles to stop or even slow down but turning, etc. would be next to impossible. Plus the many 30" guns would just tip the boat over. Not possible in this lifetime.

Layertab, it's been debated before. I know the cons, and I know the pros. I know what is possible with the Doujin and what isn't. Don't try telling people what they already -should- know. Now, if you want to go against it.. there are two - three threads for that.

Use it, mmk? No more of this here.

Raysia: I have NEVER said that my GDP was over a hundred trillion dollars. Get your head out of your f-in ass, mmk? I've been going by the various calculators.. even used Thrace pre-RPing as a Corporate-Run state, in which Pipian is the one that suites my RP purposes best. (BTW: All three calculators that I know of all list me as having a 25-6 trillion GDP)

*cough*

Yeah in total. You can't spend all of that. AT least 70% has to go to domestic things like infrastructure, etc. You've got about 30% to play with. 10% usually to the military, 20% to international sources or other things. Even the EOL doesn't have more then 5 or 6 T to spend when it comes time for military.

Hell I just search the internet for my pictures :).

Consequently I'm looking for a picture that I can use to make a new reconnaissance bird. I might just go with the Aurora but I can't find a decent picture. I know they're all artist impressions or fake but none suit my needs.

Now further off. Raysia about your pulse detonation. What's the deal with them and fuel efficiency and thrust?

Now further off. Raysia about your pulse detonation. What's the deal with them and fuel efficiency and thrust?PDE: More thrust per unit of fuel... that means a lot of things. That means it goes faster on the same ammount of fuel, and it can use less fuel to produce the same thrust as turbofans.

Pulse Detonation Tech? Very promising rigtht now, its largest advantage, aside from using for less fuel, is that it requires perhaps only 1/10 of the amount of moving parts a normal Jet engine requiers (sorry no source on that) But in concept it is far more simplfied. As such they would be easier to mass produce, and maintaine.
