OOC: This is a follow-up of the Three Kingdoms RP, basically a war between Corpsac and Veredia and a mini-civil war in Veredia. This peace conference is supposed to be to setup new free trade alliances, and hopefully a military alliance with Corpsac, since the imperial government of Veredia has more or less fled and the new one wants to have the best relations possible with Corpsac.

IC:

Duke Tasini walked through his palace at Tasin, where work crews were busy with some redecoration and other work to welcome the officials from varying nations. Tasini had in his hands a loose outline of a new alliance he wanted to propose to Corpsac, Gronde, Arenumberg, The Fedral Union, and The Horned Rat. Though he doubted Gronde would go along with it, they seemed more interested in free trade alliances and other economic benefits that go along with such alliances, which was fine for Tasini, it would certainly help the industries of Veredia by opening up new markets.

He walked outside of his family's immense, and ancient, palace to look at the small fleet of luxury hovercars that would bring the representatives to the palace. Each vehicle was sleek palace, somewhat sporty, but primarily stylish. Leather interiors, perfect enviromental controls for the most comfortable atmosphere, tinted windows, gold trim, mini-fridges with the most expensive drinks in all of Veredia, along with simple bottled water, if the representatives preferred that, along with a slew of other goodies Tasini had never bothered to learn of.

With a signal from the Duke, the vehicles pulled out and sped off to the starport, where Baron Donegal and Lord Ulrik would welcome them and bring them back to the palace. Duke Tasini turned around and walked back into the palace to await the coming dignitaries.

OOC: Would other nations be allowed to sit in on these talks?

OOC: Sure, any nation's welcome, I'll do a general message for everyone, probably should have done that in the first post, only Dacilandia's not welcome, because Veredia as whole is supposed to be very bitter towards them right now.

We are holding a peace conference for all nations to come, we are planning on creating new free trade agreements and military alliances, or any other sort of agreement anyone wishes to make.

OOC: Is this set before or after CorpSac's fleet control AI goes renegade(as is currently occurring in the Last Stand of Freedom thread)? As, given that all of the CorpSac empire is being eaten alive by this rogue AI and several other nations are going to have their forces fragged in the process, any post-Shinzu peace conference would quickly degenerate into a "who gets CorpSac's head on a platter for unleashing Shinzu" contest.

IC:After reveiwng the message the new cruiser flagship named ChitterBoil after the old one was dispatched for peace negotiations regardless of the ever present threat of Shinzu, the ChitterBoil is commaneded by the same captain Snikkit. In an amazing foresight the captain realized the severity of an explosin so didn't push the engines as hard as usual. Before ariving in the area Snikkit sent a message to the meeting area.

This is Snikkit, captain of the ChitterBoil, is requesting permission to dock at your space port. Awaiting your response

The Republic of Kiyama-Kyoto will dispatch a representative to the conference, although we regret that our head of state, prime minister Davin Shiryu, will not be in attendance as he is currently engaged with the Shinzu problem. We will also be informing our fellow members in Titan Fleet Omega, the Republic of Eulerians, of the conference.

OOC: It's going on as the Shinzu situation is going on, so more or less at the same time. I'm going to propose using Veredia as a base of operations to launch operations against Shinzu, as we don't have any cyborgs or androids or automated systems or AI like Corpsac and other nations have. ALthough Shinzu has claimed three Veredian ships, and destroyed several installations, and a few thousand people.

"Chitterboil, you are welcome to dock at Spaceport 1, at the military docks, there are empty right now as all ships have been mobilized due to the Shinzu situation. From there you may send a shuttle planetside, or if you don't really have any shuttles, the station can provide you with one"

We understand why your Prime Minister cannot understand, I myself am dealing with the Shinzu problem myself, although I have the aid of both Baron Donegal and Duke Drakon, Drakon himself has taken command of the VSN and is militarizing all of Veredia as we speak, all of our shipyards, civilian and military, are pumping out warships, if you need any vessels that do not rely on automation or AI systems, we can send of the new vessels your way for a price. Your representative will be welcome, and we look forward to good relations with you.

IC:One of the four shuttles on board launched away from the cruiser twoards the palace(i think it is a palace right?). Upon arrival 13 body guard members in silver armor stepped out of the shuttle armed with
AK-74s(only rubber bullets), 4 aides with pale fur stepped out after wards followed by a figure in a tatterd, black cloak with white-furred hands sticking out. They approached the front doors and pushed the door bell.
OOC:the body guards are their for there job, not to start a war.Which i would lose :lol:

A single colony ship, diverted from its course toward territory uninvolved in the Shinzu conflict, enters realspace. One shuttle, tiny by comparison both to the ship and its destination, departs and hails the Veredia outpost. The colony ship promptly jumps again, ordered to stay clear of all areas that Shinzu is likely to target. "Prime Minister Davin Shiryu first wishes me to thank you for the offer of aide as this is the more pressing matter, yet it may not be necessary for our nation as we do not rely on AI computing systems, preferring to allow humans to do as much thinking as possible. I, ambassador Michael Fuller, have also been ordered to take part in the upcoming peace conference, thus I request docking permission."

As the representatives from The Horned Rat walked towards the palace from the hovercars that brought them in from the starport, Corporal Sanders jaw dropped as he looked over to his fellow Palace Guardsman, "Those are Ak-74s..." he started in disbelief.

"And carried by...giant rats" Private Wheelton chuckled as he looked off to the right to make it look like he was simply keeping a watchful eye on all the palace grounds.

"Goddamn, I feel sorry for the Duke, how's he not supposed to laugh when he sees a bunch of rats armed with damn near ancient ballistic rifles walking towards him" Sanders said as he failed to keep in his laughter and the representatives walked into the palace itself.

Duke Tasini walked towards The Horned Rat representatives and hesitantly put out his hand for handshake, unsure of what people from The Horned Rat did for greetings.

"Welcome to Veredia, I'm Duke Tasini, currently regent of Veredia" he said.

"Michael Fuller, you are clear to land at pad four at the Tasin Starport, a hovercar and Palace Guardsmen will be there to pick you up and bring to the Tasin Palace, where you will be greeted by Duke Tasini. Welcome to Veredia"

The diplomat Iskritt noticed amused looks on the palace guards faces when looking at the body guards. Obviously they never encountered warpstone before. The duke himself was there offering his handshake. This made the diplomat offput since the duke just made him open for assassination attempt, something frequent in skaven society. After a small pause Iskritt shook his hand."Greetings, I wish we could come with better news about this Shinzu, but this isn't about that""I would though, like if the talks wen't quikley and smoothley"

OOC: This is on your homeworld right, cause if so you still have an arenumberg fleet in orbit of it, lol.

IC:

A Sleek Ambassadorial Yacht slid out from the belly of a cruiser, and began to cruise towards Veredia's homeworld, it got closer.. and closer...

"Ambassador Vay'Lek To Veredian Docking Control, i am here for the peace conference, requesting co-ordinates and permission to dock."

OOC: I would have thought you'd recall the fleet because of Shinzu...

IC:

"Ambassador Vay'Lek, you are clear for landing on pad five, we have a squad of Palace Guardsmen there to greet you and bring you to the palace. Welcome to Veredia"

OOC: Its not that big really, just good ships :)

The Yacht slid through the atmosphere.. gliding down.. and down... guiding itself to the designated landing pad, it settled with a slight Clunk

Vay'Lek dismebarked from the vessel, flanked by 2 of his own Gaurds, he approached the Palace Gaurdsmen.

"I am Ambassador Vay'Lek, please lead on"

OOC: ooh yeah veredia TG's! lol

ic> Much of the Fleet of Chill was recalled to Gronde's main shipyard to prepare for their covert action against Shinzu. Only the command ship, the hunter destroyer, remained. It soon arrived at the location of the peace talks and released a small, fast shuttle that sped to the palace. It landed and Master Kalgar exited to meet Duke Tasini. Kalgar was flanked by two space marines.
"Greeting, I am kalgar, Master of Gronde. I am pleased to meet you"

IC: Iskritt heard a ring on his pager. It read:GET THE MEETING DONE OR YOUR LIFE WILL END ABRUPTLY GET THE CRUISER OVER TO THE MEETING POINT TO FIGHT SHINZU WE DO NOT CARE IF IT TAKES THE LIVES OF ALL HANDS ABOARD FOR THEY ARE EXPENDABLE AS ARE YOU.
After reading this and looking flushed "Uh... can we hurry this up, I need to leave soon"

"TFU vessel, beam down your delegates quickly or flee the system, 560 Shinzu ships are emerging from hyperspace, you don't have much time" the starport controller said as he quickly coordinated the launches from the air force section of the starport.

*Tasin Palace*

Duke Tasini looked at the assembled delegates and quickly read over the report he had just gotten from an aide. "Gentlemen, we have to get to the bombardment shelter at once, an armada of Shinzu controlled ships have are emerging from hyperspace!" the Duke said as alarms started blaring.

The Duke lead the delegates outside and to the entrance of the bombardment shelter, a heavily armoured installation burrowed deep beneath the ground.

ic> The Hunter Destroyer orbiting the planet uncloaked. Using its superior speed it flew out of standard weapon range of the Shinzu armada. The destroyer opened fire with its lance nova cannon, and flew away again. It was trying to lure the armada away from the planet.

Meanwhile, in the bomb shelter:
"Well, I think we are all here, so why not begin now," said Kalgar, who was getting impatient.

OOC: Sorry, the battle's over already, all 560 Shinzu ships destroyed, as for Veredia's losses....immense to say the least, you can look at it in the other thread. I'm gonna change this from a peace conference about the Corpsac/Veredia war to a treaty of versailles type of thing for post-shinzu relations and dealing with Corpsac

OOC: Well, I'd rather wait till the Shinzu thing is over, but basically, since we lost 85 million people, and the majority of our fleet, we would like some form of compensation...im sure everyone else does also, and we want to have advisors attached to any sort of high tech electronics research Corpsac does, or setup some sort of an advisory council from the different nations involved to oversee Corpsac projects so that something like this doesn't happen again.

OOC: well the answer to that is a big fat NO shinzu did the damage not me we justt made her we had no control over her, hay i lost my empire and im goin to have one hell of a power war on my hand after this :evil: dam it.

OOC: Bah Corpsac, you created Shinzu, and it slaughter tens of millions, you are still partially responsible lol

OOC: Yeah, I know, but RPwise, the people in Veredia still wouldn't mind something in the form of compensation, of course, unless something resembling a civil war occurs in your nation, then we'll forget reperations and send out our fleet once more to help you out. The people in Veredia don't necessarily want much, but they'd like token compensation, or at the very least a public apology :D
