OOC: How do you guys want this to go?

OOC: There will be two sides. Team one (alliance of nations) and team two (Axis of power)

this is my first rp, so i hope it isnt TOO dumb. lol

Khirabatii system, capital planet of Khirabatii...

"Sir, i just thought that you might like to know that we have detected a small group of hostiles inbound to the plante."
"Hmm, well, send up a group of our TCPX modles. That ought to take care of them."
"Yessir."

The TCPX group heads up towards the hostiles, when 5 carriers jump into realspace right in front of them.

"HOLY SHIT! SIR! TWO whole battle groups have jumped right into us. We are commencing runs on the carrier bays. We need reinforcments!"

"What the....docking bays 1-78, send all fighters up immediatly. They are to screen the frigates and destroyers coming around from the far side of the planet. I want the fighters to spilt into two groups. Group one will cover the Deaths Head and the Hurricane. Group two will cover the Iron Fist and the Storm Hawk. The Deaths Head and Hurricane will flank to the right, while the Iron fist comes up the middle and the Storm Hawk will flank left, their weaker side. When our frigates get here, i want to launch fighters from bays 79-145. They will cover the Frigates. 10 fighters per frigate. The remainder of 79-145 willl commence strafing runs on the cruisers and engage the remainder of their fighters. Lets get to it people!"

Colonel Adama looked out of the viewing port. Oh the annoyance of it. Being posted with the 5th Fleet to look after some god-forsaken colony.

As if on cue with his disgruntled attitude, a klaxon wailed and the ship went on Red Alert.

"What is it?" Adama said whilst rushing up to the viewing port.

"Were picking up hostilities between a group of ships"

"Species?"

"One human and one unknown"

"Order Destroyer 1 and 2 to acommpany us to the hostile area and hail the human ships"

Help is always appreciated. Your destroyers would be much appreciated as we are outnumbered 3-1.

"All right sir, we have brought all ships into the combat area and have so far sustained minimal casualties. The kill ratio is in our favor. The enemy might have numbers, but we have better trained crews."

"Yeah, your damn right we do sir!"
"Watch your mouth private. Although i do appreciate the enthusiasim. Ok, bring in our reserve destroyer and 5 frigates from Mhirabatii. That ought to help even the odds."

As he said this, another battle group jumped into space behind the Khirabatii forces and began to circle around the planet to get into a firing position on the capital city.

"Sir!"
"I see it, I see it! Send all reserves into the back of the planet. We cant let them get to our electrical generators. Activate the planetary sheilds. They might be able to hold them off until we get there."
"Yessir."
"And get my fighter ready. I hate being stuck in a command ship."
"Will do sir."

"Sir! We have detected two destroyers inbound to our position. They are broadcasting a Dimmimar ID code."

"Good. Mabye they are here to help.."

The 3 Destroyers looked at the sinister shapes of the Alien-whatever they were-ships.

"Fire all weapons at them!"

The 3 Laser Pulses launched over the Alien ships hopefully obliterating them.

Out of the hangars came 40 Colonial Raiders, launching Laser Torpedos at the Alien ships...

OOC: Erm.. it already is! lol

Suddenly, as if things couldnt get any worse, a shimmering silver light appeared, it expanded and pulsated.. turning purple.. it was a wormhole.. and out of it Came 6 Destroyers, 4 Cruisers, a Carrier and a Battleship.

It hung for a few seconds, then every available gun in the group swiveled round to target the Dimmimar destroyers, and they fired. Missiles, beams and energy warheads flew towards the Dimmimar Ships...

Only a few light years away, the Titan Fleet Omega waited in orbit of a planetoid harvesting minerals near Khirabatii space. Davin Shiryu, Supreme Admiral of the fleet, sat on the bridge of the Edo, watching on sensors the Khirabatii and Dimmimar fleets engage enemy forces.

"Admiral Shiryu, shall we assist?"

"Well, being as how we may be drifting into Khirabatii space shortly we'd best be seen as their friends. Then again, their enemy may be our friend. We'll have to confirm. Either way we'll need to get involved."

"Your orders, sir?"

"Immediately order all civilian craft into the colony ships. They need to be ready to jump within the hour."

"Sir!"

"And find out who the Khirabatii are engaged with, plus data on both fleets."

"Shields now!"
The Lasers tore aross the hull of the ships, obliterating one and heavily damaging the others.

"Unleash hell! Now!"

The Laser weapons fired a huge pulse of enrgy at the ships, sending their radar crazy. Then the Destroyers and fighters disapered behind a natural space anomaly, giving the imperession that the ships hade retreated...

"Sir, it appears that Dimmimar is indead friendly. They have opened fire on the attackers."
"Good. Now, lets...WHAT THE!"
A wormhole had opened right in front of the Khirabatiis and out came 6 Destroyers, 4 Cruisers, a Carrier, and a Battleship.
"Jesus! Helm, hard to port, flank speed."
"Yessir."
"Guns, open up on their command towers. Hopefully they are'nt to different from the standers ship."
The starbord plasma cannons, C18 torpedoes, and laser wepons opened fire on the alien ships. They punched straight through the shields and....slammed into another set of them.
"WHAT THE HELL! SIR, THATS JUST NOT FAIR!"
"No kidding major. Well, keep firing guns. Do NOT let up until our energy sources are depleted. I want 1/4 of the engine powere transfered to the guns."
"Yessir. The engines are slowed, but at this range, that hardly matters."
"No it does not. Begin a rol to our starbord side. I dont want their lasers punching through our sheilds. Because no matter how much i wish we did, we dont have an extra set."

As the Khirabatiis began their roll, the alien ships opened fire on the Dimmimars; obliterating one of them, and heavily damaging the others.

"Shit, well, get the rescue ships out there. Deploy all fighters. Tell the frigates to strafe the carrier and battleship. This is gonnna be a close one..."

In a blaze of blue and white light the colony ships were gone. Moments later the conn officer turned to Davin Shiryu with his report.

"Sir! The attacking forces are from Arenumberg!"

Davin pondered a moment, then, "Establish contact with Arenumberg immediately. They've been friendly in the past and I don't want to break down the peaceful relations we've had thus far, but I don't want to attack a powerful nation like Dimmimar without a just cause. And what about the fleets?"

"Currently the Arenumberg forces outnumber Dimmimar and Khirabatii by a considerable amount."

"Alright, let's get closer to the battle zone. I want us 100 AUs away and in battle position. If anyone starts looking aggressive toward us they're our enemy, and send a broadcast so everyone knows it, and as soon as we're done with that hail Arenumberg so we can figure this out."

OOC: Realize that my entire nation's fleet is here.

OOC: wahay, someone read about my sheilds, w00t! lol.

The Task Force stood steady,beginning to take light damage, recieving a hail.. it put that in stand by and turned to face the Khirabatii from its confusing radar confusing attack.

"Get the Nabrosk to launch its fighters and bombers immeaditly, tell the fleet to fire on my mark, then continue to fire at will."

"Aye aye sir"

"Message sent and channel open?"

"Indeed, Praetor."

"Fire!"

Barrages of fire started hurtling towards the Khirabatii vessels.

"Sir, what about the hail from Kiyama-Kyoto"

"Kiyama-Kyoto? hmm.. Display recievment and acknowledgement of their Fleets presence, and ask what they want"

"Sir, this isnt looking good."
"I can see that major."
"What whould we do?"
"Well.....Call in the rest of our navy. I want every single ship here as fast as possible. If we can last, we can win this."
"Ye-Sir! We have detected Kiyama-Kyoto ships within 100 AUs of us. Should we hail them?"
"Yes, ask them what they are doing here and if they can help us."
"Yessir."
"SIR! The ships have been identified as Arenumberg."
"All right, do NOT hail Kiyama-Kyoto as they are allies if i remember correctly. Or perhaps not, but its just the same."
"Yessir. Message canceled."

As he said this, the Arenumberg ships fired upon them, and they took such damage, that their carriers shields were knocked out. 27 fighters were also obliterated along with 9 frigates. The Iron Fist, the Khirabatii command ship, took damage equal to have been hit with a nuclear blast. The ships shields, along with most of its armor, were totaly destroyed.

"GOD DAMMIT SIR! WE HAVE TO PULL BACK! WE CANT TAKE DAMAGE LIKE THAT AND THAT WAS ONLY THE FIRST VOLLEY!!!"
"NO, we will stay here and fight. If we turn, then they will close the gap and destroy us. If we fight, we can at LEAST inflict some damage. If battle groups 2-5 get here soon, we will be saved. I want 100% of our energy weapons batteries to be transfered into shields. As I said before, if we can last, we can win. And major, im going out in my ship. I am leaving you in charge. Good luck John."
"Good luck to you too sir. You better come back Andy."
"Hey, its me!"

Standing at the main screen, Davin Shiryu watched the Arenumberg captain, hoping to be sure that he would be telling the truth. While not allied with Arenumberg, Kiyama-Kyoto had been trying to secure positive relations with the nation due to its close contact with many of the galactic powers and the resources within its borders. "I'll get right to the point. It looks like you're attacking. I want to know if this is justified, because while I hold your friendhip dear I would never want to become party to an unprovoked assault. It's not that we don't trust you or your motives, but we don't want to be accused of favoratism in our dealings with other nations and we are sure that if your cause is just it will be no problem to tell us exactly why this battle is occuring."

"Kiyama-Kyoto, can you not see the strategic importance of this system, we have many motives which we cannot reveal, we wish to aqquire this system for its rare deposits of Darkmatter, which the Khiribatii have not yet discovered, These other ships attacking we have no idea who they are, but they are weak, the Dimmimar vessels are also not advanced enough,"

"Comms, mute the channel one second, make the next bit on all carrier waves, i want to make sure that our enemies hear this"

"Yes sir"

"And it wont be long till it is finished, even now, the 45th Battlefleet, and 8th Assault fleet are preparing to enter the system"

"Sir, the AAS Raven is taking heavy damage, and is withdrawing to the rear of the task force"

"Acknowledged, start diverting some power to the weapons, and start disabling their ships, i want prisoners."

"Sir, we have picked up a transmission from Arenumberg to Kiyama-Kyoto. They have said that their 45th Battlefleet and thir 8th Assault fleet are preparing to enter the system."
"Hmmm. Well, inform the Admiral of this and get ready for company. Although this my be a ploy and just that. If they have commed it over the broadband, then they may just want us to retreat from the area. But if the Admiral says we leave, we leave. Or if he says we stay, we stay. It does not matter what they have comming. Out four incoming Battlegroups should be more than enough to handle what ever they throw at us."
"Yessir. The Admiral has been informed. And he says that he already has 17 confirmed enemy fighter kills and has inflicted heavy damage with with the help of his wing on the AAS Raven. It is moving to the back of their group."
"Sir!"
"Yes Ensign?"
"The Stormhawk and the Deaths Hand have broken through the enemy ranks and are inflicting heavy damage on their Carrier and their Battleship. It appears that we have broken through all ships first set of shields and are slowly depleting the secondary."
"YES!"
"What Corpral?"
"Our four Battle Groups have just entered the system!"
"Excellent. Order them to engage and launch all fighters immediatly. It looks like we may win this yet."
"Major, this is the Admiral. I see that our Battle Groups have entered the system. The Kiyama-Kyoto ships are not engaging which is more good news. I think we might actaully win this!"
"YESSIR! I aggree! We are taking some damage but is withstainable. Keep it up sir!"
"But of course Major!"

OOC: One thing you wouldnt know is the 45th Battlefleet contains 2 of the 3 brand new Superdeadnaughts, and the 6 Mile long Flagship, its the powerhouse of the fleet, and when we want something it comes to get it, is this is your homesystem.. or somewhere else?

"Sir, the AAS Yomin and AAS Tonstil have taken damage also, and our shields are finally beginning to deplete.. uh sir.. 4 Khiribatii Fleets have entered the system also"

"Seems they thought our incoming fleets were a ploy, well do we have a surprise for them"

"Sir, the 8th and 45th report that their generators are charged, and will be here within 2 minutes"

"Good to know, maintain fire, cover the Yomin, its our only carrier, and tell the Tonstil to get out of here, do the same with the Raven, once you've finished, tell the AAS Branik and AAS Kilana to fire all their weapons in a disable configuartion at the lead vessel of the Khiribatii, i want it disabled!"

"Yes sir"

OOC: When the 45th fleet and the 8th assault fleet arrives the main thing you will notice is the 6 mile long flagship, lol.. and it is heavily armed

Davin Shiryu sent his reply to Arenumberg, "Certainly we can see the strategic importance. The resources of this region are the reason we have been nearby. That is not the question. The question is whether Dimmimar or Khirabatii have ever wronged you, and while we would never have suspected such selfishness out of the noble people of Arenumberg your reply makes to our query makes us doubt your current intentions. I hope that it is merely a lapse from the stress in defending your people, but if indeed the attack is purely for selfish reasons we will have a far more difficult time joining your forces. Might should fight for right, and as such we must prove your own justice. If indeed you are fighting for what is right then we will certainly join your forces and apologize completely for any insult you might feel in our hesitance."

"We only fire on the Dimmimar for they are opposing us, as for the Khiribatii, if they had merely accepted our proposal's for peaceful acquistion of this resource, this would not be happening, this is also out of fear, if the khiribatii were to harvest enough of the darkmatter, the weapons they could make could threaten this region, so we will destroy or disable the Khiribatii naval strength, harvest enough of the resource, and leave."

Khiribatii does not have the manpower to exploit the resources you have cited and Dimmimar is merely coming to their aide against an attack by your nation. Terminate transmission now." The screen went dark. "Hail the Khiribatii and Dimmimar vessels."

OOC: I believe you're right... I read the conversation at the start too. Alright, I guess if it's not real I can abandon my principles.

My nation did just revolt against a dictator, though, and that is the biggest reason why we don't like imperialism.

This is all OOC, so of course nobody knows what I'm doing based on it.

All of the Khirabatii ships pulled back and jumped out of the system. None of them stayed behind. Challanging the Arenumberg fleet was pointless, so they abandoned their home world. They would never be able to return....or so the Arenumbergs thought....They had not left the system. They were waiting for the Arenumberg ships to pull out and then jump back in and fortify the system. They would never let this happen again...

OOC: its alternate reality and.. well im spouting crap lol, i actually wouldnt normally do this

"Cleanse.. bomb the entire planet" was the one order, the taskforce left the system, and the 2 Arenumberg fleets merged, and headed for the homeworld.

"Dear god sir...They are going to bomb the whole planet!! We picked up one of their transmissions!"
"Jesus, how can they...Ok, this is going to be the last move we ever make. But we have to. Order all ships to jump into the system, and.....ram their ships."

"I know, but we have to. Its the only choice. We have to save our planet. Before we hit them, all crews are to jettison. That will save some lives. Rig the firing systems to fire all weapons into the enemy ships around them as they ram into them. Hopefully, we can destroy most of their fleet. Then they wont have enough firepower to get through the planetary sheild. Lets do it.."

The Khirabatii vessels jumped into the system, jettisoned all crews, and jumped, straight into the entire Arenumberg fleet. The explosion was enormous. All of the Khirabatii vessles exploded in a mountain of fire. The Arenumberg fleet simply dissapered and it looked as thought they had jumped, but then there was another explosion. So big, that it brushed against the planetary sheilds 178 miles away. The Dimmimar vessles were just out of the explosions radius; barely alive. The 1st Battle of Khirabatii had ended in both sides destruction. The act of desperation had saved Khirabatii. For now.....

"Grand Magnus, sir! We have recieved reports that Khirabatii..."
"Is under attack. Yes, I know. I was just about to send a transmission to them."
The Grand Magnus, Rom, clicked a few keys on his chair and swiveled to a large viewscreen.
"Attention Khirabatii. This is Grand Magnus Rom of the Ferengi Empire. We have a full task force at your dipsosal. Though we are untested, we believe that we can at least add a bit to your struggle. Fifteen Defiant-class warships and three Citizen-class battleships, plus our newest Sovereign-class capital ship and seven of our D'Kora-class cruisers are ready to make the jump at your command. Simply give us co-ordinates."

The Khirabatii commander woke up with a start and relized that his ship was flying away from the combat zone.

"Sir! Sir! Are you there sir?"
"Yes, yes, im here. I fell asleep."
"8 hours of combat will do that to you sir. Come back to base and freshen up. The Arenumberg ships are attacking but we are holding on. They were trying to clense the planet but we are holding them off for now. The Ferengi Empire has offered to help, and they are on there way to help as we speak. They have a large fleet to assist us."
"What a dream....Alright, lets hail Arenumberg and ask what they want again. I hope they respond..."
"Yessir."

OOC: Yes, the whole ramming thing, was the Admirals dream. Very odd dont ya think?

The IFS Sovereign dropped out of warp at the edge of the system. It was the first to arrive, quickly being joined by the rest of the Imperial Ferengi fleet.

"This is Grand Magnus Rom to all Ferengi ships. Do not, I repeat, do not engage until we know who's who. Remember, keep damage to the hulls at a minimum. Target their life support, shields, and engines. We're here for salvage, remember that."
