A group of Workers unionised themselves and went on strike at the Automobile Factory in the Capital City of Hybird.

President Oxford fearing that this strike may encourge over workers to strike and possible start a revolution that may end his Leadership over the people of Hybird contacted his Military chief.

"Commander Moore, Mobilise the Army and put Operation Red Alert into action" The Commander replied "Aye Sir"

A short while later over 1000 army soldiers moved over towards the Striking workers and opened fire with No Warning. The Soldiers made sure that not a single striker was left alive

President Eric Dao sat behind his executive desk looking over the daily International Incidents reports prepared by Dr. Kim Zhuo, Secretary of Tao-Foreign Affairs.

“This looks pretty bad, what the government in Hybrid is doing… executing and massacring striking union workers? We’ve had our problems with the Anarchist Union in the past, but we’ve never resorted to lethal means of dispersal or supression. What do you think, Kim?” President Dao asked, as he ran a gnarled hand through his graying hair.

“Well, Sir. Unfortunately, it looks like this government is receiving support from some powerful international governments. Of course, the stance of Shang-Ti should be one of condemnation, as we support freedoms of every possible sense. However, I think it should be condemnation only on the use of the military to break up the striking workers. An economy has many facets, by condemning the removal of a union might not be in the best interest of preserving national sovereignty,” Dr. Zhuo said.

“I see,” President Dao said, placing his hands within the folds of his red presidential robe. “One the one hand, we have a brutal government establishing egregious political rights violations. On the other hand, we have a union that does not necessarily need to be in existence.”

President Dao thought for a few minutes in silence, head bowed down in meditation before replying. “All right, for now we hold judgment on the denial of the Hybrid government to establish unions. In the meantime, I’ll schedule some time to make a statement to the press condemning the use of military force to suppress political dissent.”

President Dao stepped up to the podium in the News Conference Room. The flashes and lights of the cameras lit up the Flag of Shang-Ti behind him.

“My administration has been following the activities in the nation of Hybrid for some time now, as we are prepared to formally condemn in the strongest terms the atrocious political rights violations perpetuated by their leadership.

“We fully support the ideal of national sovereignty, and that the general policies of a nation should not be dictated to by others. However, the will of the people within that nation supercede the concept of national sovereignty. These workers chose to form a union on their own, which indicates there is some need within that nation. We do not wish to argue the socio-political aspects of unionization, and their harm or benefit to an economy. What we do wish to address is the brutal suppression of these workers’ right to choose, that unnecessary force was implemented, and that personal freedoms are eroding.

“To the leadership of Hybrid, I ask you this, please give your people the choice.”

Falastur joins with New Wales in condemning this act, and asks Hybrid what it would require to persuade them not to use force in such a way again.

In responce to this the Real HLF is considering sending 20,000 guerillas to help defend the people of Hybird in case the government attamps future attacks. The Slaughter of innocent civillians will not be tolerated. This is a warning.

The government of Janathoras supports Hybrid's official government stance, although the question of whether the strikers should have been warned before firing at them has arisen. Mainly because it's much better practice for the troops to try and hit running targets.

The Holy Empire of Mologranism salutes the actions of Hybird's government. We feel that people should be controlled by any means possible, including force. We will offer anything short of troops to help you if you are attacked.

In the capitol city of Technocracia, a news conference is called. Cameras rush to the office of the new Prime Minister, M. Fletcher, and news reporters describe the actions of Hybird to be a "test for the very new and very experimental government".

With a round of applause, M Fletcher takes to the briefing room's small stage in order to deliver his statement. The room falls silent as he speaks:

"Comrades of Technocracia, we have all fought long and hard in the past days in order that the revolution succeeded, which it did. The lions share of the revolutionary tasks were carried out by the Workers, who elected our mighty Socialist government. Whereas our fascist predecessors would support the action of Hybird's government,we MUST condemn it. Let it be known that Technocracia WILL NOT TOLERATE THESE SORTS OF ACTIONS.Governments MUST listen to their people, the proletariat. IF, and i say IF any such action takes place in Hybird again, we will consider possible military action by our Red Guards in order to guarantee the security of the workers of Hybird. We therefore directly condemn Hybird's government and refuse to have anything to do with them in future."

With that, the Prime Minister quickly left the news conference.

The action I am threatening to take is sending guerillas to hybrid to help 'protect' the people against possible future attacks. What you commited was senseless mass murder.

In a statement from the Celtayoshian Premier Celtayoshi declared immediate sanctions to be placed on Hybird, and he called on all other nations with any sense of decency to do the same. He went on the say that Celtayoshi would not support any government which used mass murder to control the population. He did, however, condem any action which would involve guerilla warfare, stating that now was not the time for more violence, but continuation of this killing would have to result in further action and the situation would be watched very closely.

He finally sits.
