I have been planning this RP for awhile,and this is but a signup.Bare in mind that I will chose those who are playing at my discretion,depending on their RP skills.I also have a few people in mind for certain parts.there are only 9 slots to be filled,3 on one side,and 6 on another side.
Now to explain the setting..In the far future(long enough time that most governments have broken down or slowly been engulfed by the larger nations)only 9 nations remain and the 9 equally rule the planet.Familiar,eh?Anyway, there is an eventual dispute concerning borders amongst the 9.3 nations arguing against 6.Finally the dispute leads to skirmishes,and skirmishes to open war.After a few years of fighting,the three lose and are sent into exile.They find a dying,yet hospitable planet far away and stay there.Meanwhile,the remaining 6 are unable to agree on how to split up,hence..more war..followed by splitting into seperate factions formed of fragments of the ancient empires.Mny years pass,entropy comes into play and mankind degrades,eventually the wars are forgotten as is the time when the 9 ruled.Eventually mankind rediscovers the technology of old,and puzzles about the ancient ruins of sunken cities and fallen "skyships".More scores of years pass,and turn into centuries..And the Exile planet slowly continues to die..finally..the scientists of the exiles choose that life in suspended animation high above their dying new home is better than suffocating in a decaying atmosphere.The population is put into cryo,and they wait like that..for years.Back on earth near one of the excavated fallen "skyships" two archeologists dig up a cylinder of a strange alloy.The younger of the two,being ever curious touches the pretty blinking button.The cylinder sctivates and somehow,sprouts legs.The youth stumbles away in terror and runs outside calling to his superior.The two watch in awe as the cylinder spider-steps out of the tent and stops,roots itself into the ground and..fires a beam of light into the sky...
And that is where the RP picks up.I want good clean RPIng here people,and by all means,keep the thread OOC.
