OOC: Could everyone please post their territorial waters / how far out it goes? This will be help make it easier to settle disputes for many people.. and will help the Organization of Maritime Powers decide wether or not to get involved in some situations. Thank you in advance :)

Distance in NM/KM tho?

If I remember correctly, it's roughly 250 nm out from the shoreline.

Our nation has onlt a southern coast,(no map,'cause I'm lazy)extends 87 miles outward,and about 300 miles long..

The Republic of Ozymandias IV claims territorial waters to a distance of 22.2 km/12 nautical miles from the coast at low tide.

However, we also observe a commercial exclusion zone for fishing and other rights out to 370 km/200 nautical miles from the coast at low tide.

We have a 200 mile EEZ extending from the shore, and any islands, natural or artificial, have a 12NM Territorial Zone.

The Free Lands of Zoogiedom is composed of one large island ('mainland') and several much smaller ones. All waters from the mainland extending to its islands are owned by Zoogiedom.

In addition, on the eastern islands of Zoogiedom, we claim sovereign ownership and label our territorial waters to include a distance of 82km east of these islands; however a commercial exclusion zone applies as well; extending to 460km.

To the South, we claim ownership to 76km; the distance between Zoogiedom and its nearest southern neighbor of Penguisiana being 152km. To the West, we claim ownership of 124km; the distance between Zoogiedom and its nearest western neighbor of (not certain) being 250km. Finally, the the north we claim 70km of ownership; the distance between us and our nearest northern neighbor of Drizzts being 140km.

From our easternmost territorial water claims, extending to the respective eastern, northern, southern, western, and everything in between territorial water claims of the respective border nations of the Zoogie Isles, represents water to be recognized as territorial water of The Zoogie Isles; and thus commercial exclusion among the Isles in these waters is not defined.

Mattopolia is located within the boundaries of the former state of Michigan. We recognize the Great Lakes to be international waters (except for Lake Superior, on all other lakes we claim waters up to 20 mi. of the shore).

12 nautical miles, though in the case of the North Eastern Island Chain (which are roughly 50 nautical miles from the coast) we claim all waters from the mainland to the islands. The Exclusive Economic Zone extends 200 miles from the coast, and in this area we reserve the right to open fire on vessels suspected of smuggling illegal substances into Shildonia. During wartime we reserve the right to sink any military vessels that are present in the Exclusive Economic Zone.

The Omzian territorial waters claim is an average of 12nm out, with the exception of the Iansuk Islands area in which territorial waters extend 11nm beyond the west coasts of the islands. Contiguous zone is 24nm, with an exclusive economic zone extending out towards 190nm.

We have a small coast of no more than 30 miles, 10 miles of which are claimed by the Vexian Navy. Our waters extend 2 miles out from that, but we hope soon to be able to extend that to 4 miles.
We have no other maritime naval concerns.

We claim a small chain of Islands in the Pacific, they dont exist on any real map, and the area around them. for at least 30 miles
