OOC: Been gone for awhile and apparently a war broke out. My response.

With the outbreak of hostilities between Imperial, Al-Anbari, Jarridian, and Lower Egyptian factions, the Fatimid caliph ruling Daylam would like to propose an agreement of military cooperation with the anti-Egypt/Jarridia forces arrayed against them. Our military currently involved against Egypt and Jarridia consists of two armies in the Sinai, 2 battle fleets (One in W. Medit., One in E. Medit), and hundreds of Zupin (Daylami produced F/A 18s) fighters.

To Al-Anbar: Our previous government once put its soldiers beside you to resist the meddling of foreign powers in the affairs of the Middle East, Islam, and Arabs. While the cause may be different, the government replaced: the Caliph renews the only agreement from the old Daylam: the alliance with Al-Anbar. In olden times the people of Iraq and Syria fought Turkish overlords with the help of the Fatimid armies. Today we renew that commitment. We await your response.

Secret Transmision to the Fatamid Caliph of Daylam:

The Empire is involved in a struggle against LowerEgyptian forces in Jordan, and is willing to have an alliance against our common foe, LowerEgypt. In the event of victory, we are willing to grant you Egypt and Sinai, but Jordan will become one of our protectorates. I feel that you will find these circumstances agreeable, and, as part of our good faith, we will cease any hostilities with Al Anbar (OOC: as we really have, since I found no referance to him threatening Israel) and allow Daylam and Al Anbari citizens access to Jordan, unarmed of course.

OOC: Where is the war thread over Jordan?


Secret IC: This is highly acceptable to Daylam. Even now forces of the Caliph are engaging Egypt in the Sinai. A full-scale invasion of Egypt proper will begin soon.
