Despite warnings and objections from the Concert Of Nations, Terra Pacifica's main ally Hamptonshire and several other socialist nations, the Terra Pacifican 1st Expedtionary Force has cross over the Terta Strait (20,000 Ground Troops, 13,000 Marines, 4000 thousand airmen and 2 carrier groups) and invaded in clear defiance against the Concert of Nations(though Neo Pacifica is no an official nation but a colony) Neo Pacifican Colonial Territory in response to the Dirty Bomb attack on Port Atlantis despite some circumstatial evidence concerning the colony's involvement.

After a short five hours since launching from several naval bases they have held a foothold over the colony's beachhead (Ho Chu Port City), recent figures show 142 Terra deaths 430 Terra wounded and 760 Neo Deaths, 2000 Injured plus 4000 civilian casaulties.

This evening Neo Pacifica's newly refurbished National Congress (or what other's call the People's Hall) was placed in an emergency session after unconfirmed reports of Terra Pacifica troops being landed on Neo Pacifica territory. It seemed for a while that panic and choas was about to erupt overthrowing the Socialist Government into anarchy.

Fortunately our new Comrade Leader, Premier Kiko Akito leader of the Socialist BLOC was able to keep control over the concern masses and has responded to these new wave of imperialistic attacks.

"Comrades, and fellow Socialists around the globe! I stand here not your leader...but your fellow countryman! We will not yield to these unjustified attacks against our soil, and will wage full war against these imperialistic intruders who have refused to accept change and our right to govern ourselfs for the benefit of our people and not to line the pockets of the Capitalist Pig known as "Chancellor" Alan Ryo Takashi. Today we send a message, a message that roars indepedence from our very hearts! A message that tells the world that we will not yield to the will of a bully! that's why comrades, I ask that you approve the Emergency Act and immediately place all armed forces and fellow citizens into full duties bringing all comrades into one united fighting force! If deployed they will join the 2nd Marine Expeditionary Force currently attached to the 3rd Fleet.

With the failure of talks between Terra Pacifica and Neo Pacifica, USSNSR Naval forces have been pulled back to the edge of international waters. Military forces though have been set on high alert. The Democratic Republic of Shang-Ti is quite concerned with your military push into Neo Pacifica. I have been instructed by President Eric Dao to request your military’s cessation of all operations until an international body can determine the validity of evidence to suggest Neo Pacifica’s involvement of the “Dirty Bomb” attack on Port Atlantis.

As the President and Tao-Foreign Affairs has determined this attack to be aggressive in nature, the Tao-Foreign Affairs office has elected to confine your embassy staff from any movement in to, or out of, their compound. This is for their own safety, as well as the National Security of Shang-Ti.

The Democratic Republic of Shang-Ti will not conduct any military intervention at this time, nor are we prepared to take any other punitive measures (embargo, blockade, diplomatic break, etc.). We wish this issue to be resolved peacefully.

It has come to my attention that you have invaded the nation of Neo Pacifica. The Empire is not entirely sure of the circumstances, but we view this as a threat to the soveriegnty of that nation. It past days we would normaly have declared war on you by now, however, since we are making governmental reforms to try and at least nor facilitate gunboat policy, we ask that you peacefully leave Neo Pacifica.

We would be happy to host peacetalks between you and Neo Pacifican leaders. But we warn you: any funny business could result in Imperial action, which we feel you would not like.

Fluffywuffy, the question here is whether Neo Pacifica is even an independent nation. To one side this is a fight for "independence", to the other it is a fight to restore national solidarity.

What cannot be overlooked is the terrorist attack against Terra Pacifica. If it is found that Neo Pacifica was involved in that attack, there will be grave consequences.

OOC: It should be fairly evident we recognise the sovereignty of Neo Pacifica. And if there really are connections with terrorism, the government will condemn the connections as lies. It's all politics. We do, however, intend after possible invasion not to grant immediot sovereignty to invaded nation.

You must note all of the above is, of course, OOC, and your governments know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING of that.

We agree, Hamptonshire. We are not in a position to influence one way or the other the sovereignty of Neo Pacifica. However, as Terra Pacifica (and yourself) are diplomatic allies with Shang-Ti, we are prepared to offer military assistance IF AND ONLY IF it is found Neo Pacifica conducted this terrorist attack.

What we, Shang-Ti, cannot allow is the continuation of hostilities by Terra Pacifica if it is found Neo Pacifica did not perpetrate this terrorist attack. Since it has not fully been determined, even by Terra Pacifica, if Neo Pacifica was responsible it is important for TP to cease all military action. At this time, it is viewed (by the government of Shang-Ti) as a rash, aggressive, oppressive militaristic move against a people seeking political sovereignty.

To play devil's advocate, Hamptonshire, 'grave' consequences are already being taken against Neo Pacifica without confirmation that the seperatists are trully the ones responsible for the attack on the Terra Pacific port city. Forces from Terra Pacifica are already on Neo Pacfica, and I wouldn't doubt if these troops were a little less then humane when they run into the Neo Pacifican forces. The situation is already turning grave, regardless of if Neo Pacifica was behind the terrible attack or not. A terrorist attack against Terra pacifica of this scale cant be overlooked. What also cannot be overlooked is the, for now, innocence of Neo-Pacifica.

Hamptonshire does not condone the actions of Terra Pacifica, however according to the Concert of Nations Treaty, which was signed by Terra Pacifica as well as by a representative of the Colony of Neo Pacifica, We must act. Our military will not be involve itself offensively until we can better evaluate all sides of this situation.
As for the Terra Pacifican troops in Neo Pacifica, we are fully confident that they are acting with all discretion.

And the "innocence of Neo Pacifica" is relative to your position. I think it is best to say that neither side is truely innocent in this whole mess.

TV5-WAR NEWS UPDATE!

According to reports from our imbedded reporters, Terra Pacifica Ground Forces have captured and occupied more than a quarter of the Colony of Neo Pacifica, after some of the most intense fighting action yet leaving 890 Terra Dead, and about 2000 wounded and 1500 Neo Colonial Red Soldiers Dead and 6000 Wounded. The most concerning part of this report is the amount of collateral damage in some the city fighting right now. Figures estimate about 600,000 Civilian Casualties caused by the heavy air, naval and artillery bombarment of 'Military Targets' and Cilivian centers that are occupied by 'Enemy Combatants'

We've also recieved a report that our forces have just captured Li Wan Kang City, Neo Pacifica's 3rd Largest City. Figures showed that another 200 Terra Dead and Wounded and 600 Neo Pacifica Combatants Dead or Wounded. Li Wan Kang is considered an important military victory considering it cuts off the Neo Pacifican's northern flank creating a second front on the march to Liberation City (Neo Pacifica's Capital)

To politics...the Democratic Republic Of Terra Pacifica has been recieving bombardments of International Praise from supporters and allies and Condemnation from enemy states, and communist/socialist sympathizers. When asked our righteous President, Alan Ryo Takashi said to reporters from an undisclosed location...

Following the speech, a massive naval taskforce with 15 Lunar class carriers 10 Emperor class ships, and various support craft (destroyers, frigates, cruisers, etc.) disembarked for Neo Pacifica, under command of the brilliant Admiral Nicholas Vercelli, the same admiral who oversaw the Fleet in the great Fluffy-Dark Terror war, in which he directed the sinking of two enemy fleets.

We thank The Empire of Fluffywuffy for given us some much needed military support. The amount of destruction and deaths cannot be exaggerated, but we will continue to fight on with or without support from the international community, and again I say we fight for indepedence, and shall never surrender! Fluffywuffy, you will not enter Terra Pacifican waters, nor will you enter the waters of the Concert of Nations Region. To do so would be an act of war against us as well as our allies.

Markus Brown looked over the fourteen other people inhabiting the apartment's living room. A strange setting to have a meeting of...a subject of this degree. All fifteen beings, thirteen men, two women, were dressed in common clothes, blue jeans, t-shirts, and hoodies or light jackets.

"You all know why we're here...it seems our friends are losing the war. With that we're be going with the third of our..options."

A built man of 5'7, one hundred sixty nine pounds, he stood behind a simple fold out chair, a hand resting the glass table top, a few inches away a fresh laptop sat, bought just a day ago. The old one they had used was taken apart, the hard drive destroyed, the other pieces going into a few trash cans as the people acted out their daily routines.

"Now...there'll be six teams, three teams of two and three teams of three. The three small teams will hit targets within Uha, Crystal Port and Terra's Kitti Jiko AFB."

The man's hand went to the new laptop, pulling it slightly closer before letting a finger tap at dots on a map of Terra Pacifica.

"Team one will be Dale Zahn, and Vonda Aliston. You've the city of Uha Here your target's the city hall. For the first, you've a pair of large briefcases, each loaded to the brim with C4."

His attention looked to another pair, Markus and George Crispin.

"You two lovely ladies get the base of Kitti Jiko. There'll be two vehicles taken. You'll get to flip a coin, play rock paper scissors, whatever to decide who gets the truck that'll be used to run the fence and explode when it slams into a hanger. The other'll tag along in a second truck, carrying a two or three rockets. You'll be aiming at whatever aircraft you can spot, then of course try to get the hell out. Lastly we've Tom Macbride and Joseph Burlatsky. You two'll be going in seperate vehicles to Crystal Port. Utility van's loaded with explosives. The target'll be part of this city's name...the port. Seeing as it's only 7 now, civillian casualties should be cut to a low when we get there. I'm sure you can guess what to through...get to the docks, set the timers...get the hell away...now..."

Craig looked over the group, to the other three teams then smirked a little.

"First off we've Sea's Horizon. Another port town. This one just happens to have a few ships under contruction for the Terran Navy. Corey, Johnathan, you guys'll be going into two vehicles. A van and a sedan. The van is loaded with explosives, as cliche as that is. The sedan'll have two in it, one to drive, the other to make use of a rocket launcher and a few rounds in the back. Aim at whatever ships are visible from your viewpoints. For the last two teams, we're to strike at the heart ofn it all."

The apparent leader tapped at the Capital City's icon.

"Targets are to be the airport, police stations, and a few government related buildings. Vehicles are to be placed outside, the three largest police stations, one going into the air control tower, and the last two going right in front of Terra's Bureau of Investigation, and their very own Wall Street type deal."

Markus shook his head then looked out towards the military base. One of the numerous Air Force support craft oriented bases. Must've been why security wasn't exactly top notch. That and itbeing like numerous other bases within the world, located near some decent sized quiet town.

"What time is it?"

The voice was of George Crispin, standing beside the opened van.

"12:53 Everyone else should be prepping as we speak."

Any who would've been up would've thought the noise of the van's engine unusual. Luckly none were around to take note. Hands worked, grabbing a pair of bungie cords and a stick then rigging it up with the help of the seat. Once let loose, the van would go straight, through the fence and onto the strip. From there, it'd either be shot to hell or crash into one of the large cargo carriers. George then went into the back, popping open the doors and going to the explosives. Markus watched then opened up a pair of wooden crates, each holding a rocket launcher and a trio of rockets. Setting everything on the ground, he then looked back to his clock.

"You done?"

A few clicks and a trio of beeps could be heard then a slightly excited 'Yep'.

"Then let it go and grab one of the bottle rockets."

A security guard had stepped out as the car sped away. Unusual it was, to find a pair of briefcases sitting at the doorsteps to City Hall. It was apparent that it was serious. With that, police and a bomb crew were already on the scene, surrounding the area, a robot inching its way towards the pair of silver briefcases. Unfortunatley the man hadn't been able to get a make on the vehicle. That would prove unfortunate for a number of people. A trio of news vans were already there, one from CNN. The broadcaster had just begun.

"It's 12:54, nearing one in the morning when police reports of a possible bomb just outside Uha City's City Hall..."

Explosions rocked the whole of Terra Pacifica. Millions in the cities would be awaken by the noise of a tremendous blast. Admiral Nicholas Vercelli paced about onboard the Ostrogoth, his flagship, awaiting arival in Neo Pacifican waters. He ocassionaly turned to one of the computer screens showing various blips for ships in his taskforce, noting the position of his ships.

Deciding to change formation, he issues the following transmission:

"All Emperor-class battleships are to form up with the Ostrogoth in the front of the fleet. All ships are to be on the highest combat alert. Pilots are to be ready to embark at a moments notice. That is all."

Smiling deliciously at the promise of sea battles, Admiral Vercelli turns to Subadmiral Ulaynsk, his captain.

"Wake me when we get there."

Hours later, the fleet steams into the outer fringes of the region around Neo Pacifica

Vercelli, rolling sleepily from bed, fumbles around in his qaurters. Within a few moments the tired Admiral manages to make it to his private washroom, where he shaves, brushes his teeth, and the like. After dressing, the now awake Admiral strolls into the control room.

"We are there?"

"Not quite sir. We are on the edge of Neo Pacifican territorial waters. Within 10 minutes or so we will be in them. No signs of hostile fleet, air, or land battery action against us. The Reliable, further ahead," he points to the ship on a computer screen, "has also shown no signs of enemy vessels."

The Admiral thought of only one thing: "Subs! Order all ships to actively ping for submarines, and get ASW aircraft in the air ASAP. I wont take any chances."

"Aye, aye, sir!"

The ships began the exhaustive search for submarines, which ended in nothing being found. Relieved, the Admiral returned to his quarters, bidding his captains to retrieve him once something was spotted by the forward lookout ships, such as the Reliable

Secretary Alejandro Li entered the Executive Office of President Eric Dao as a Marine from the Tiger Claw brigade moved out of his way.

“Mr. President, the situation between Terra Pacifica and Neo Pacifica has escalated greatly. Here’s a tape of a news broadcast from Terra Pacifica hours after a coordinated attack on multiple sites. No one has claimed responsibility, although the Terra Pacifica government is calling it the work of terrorists from the Neo Pacifica colony,” the Secretary from the Tao-Intelligence said.

Li played the tape of a CNN broadcast out of Terra Pacifica, starting with the briefcase bombs at the City Hall. After the reports finished, Li handed the President a folder marked Terra/Neo Pacifica #7902.

“Mr. President, Terra Pacifica has been a diplomatic ally for some time now, starting with one of our initial calls to diplomatic exchange. So far, they’ve shown to be quite reasonable in their government policies. Now, their people claim to have proof of these attacks, starting with the Port Atlantis bombing, having Neo Pacifica’s involvement. We haven’t seen that evidence, although I don’t blame them. If the evidence has come from embedded operatives within the Neo Pacifica movement, then the exposure might jeopardize the operative. However, right now there is no compelling proof either way,” Secretary Li said.

President Dao looked through the papers, reports, and photos. He took note of the careful timing of the attacks to minimize civilian losses.

“Alejandro, do we have estimates yet on the losses of these attacks?” President Dao asked.

“No Mr. President, reports are still sketchy at this time. I believe you’ve noticed the timings of these attacks?” Li asked.

“Yes, yes I have,” President Dao said. “Normally, terrorists try to inflict the most amount of damage, both in property and in human life. Even if it’s their own people, they claim martyrdom. It’s the shock value that causes nations to lose their resolve in the fights. Now this, it looks like the timing was limited to reduce the number of casualties. Not normal for a terrorist organization. I suppose that’s one thing going for these people. Although, if Neo Pacifica claims to be waging a war against Terra Pacifica, then we must deplore the attacks on civilian targets.”

“Agreed, Mr. President. Unfortunately, from a psychological standpoint, these attacks will probably intensify the more Terra Pacifica clamps down on the resistance. There are really only two choices, now that the appearance of terrorism has started. The first is for Terra Pacifica to give in to the demands of Neo Pacifica. This doesn’t seem likely. The second is for Terra Pacifica to commit to an all-out war against Neo Pacifica. We’ve already seen the beginnings of the all-out war, and I’m pretty sure this is how the situation will go down. There can’t be any middle-ground in the scenario,” Secretary Li said.

“Ok, right now I cannot commit to anything until we receive proof from Terra Pacifica on the complicity of Neo Pacifica. We still have their embassy clamped down for protection. I think we need to loosen up the reins a little and try to get some information out of them,” President Dao said. He pressed an intercom button on his phone. “Mary, get me Dr. Zhuo on the line. Thanks.”

This news report was echoed with music promoting emotions of sorrow and depression. This was a time for the peace and self reflection but unfortunately calls of revenge vented out feelings of rage amongst the citizens. The news reporter turned her chair to the camera and in a sense to address the nation and give confirmation of their worsest fears.

"This morning...a series of terrorist attacks whom are suspected to be carried by Red Neo Pacifica taking place throughout several key civilian (OOC: this is exaggerated)and military targets. Specific targets were the Uha Memorial City Hall, Republic Guard Base Kitti Jiko's airbase installation, Crystal Port, Sea's Horizon and Capital City...reports coming in from Government officials estimate about more than a thousand dead, wounded, or missing military and civilians together althought they haven't release civilian to military ratios. (OOC: Government Figure maybe exaggerated)

According to several political and military anaylists, this will severely placed more pressure on the Federal Government from small opposition groups to pull out of the liberation campaign in which communists have seized power in Neo Pacifica. Militarily this will not severely derail the crackdown on communist militants thanks to the outstanding support from the Concert of Nations, Terra Pacifica's main chain of allies.

When reached for comment Alan Ryo Takashi, Wartime President of the Republic Of Pacifica he simply stated that this nation now cannot afford to appease the communist/terrorist cowards with so much at stake and that it has only broaden his support to put down the illegal seizure of the Neo Pacifican Colonial government whom he recognizes to belong to his party (United Republican Party). He has announced a week of mourning closing down effectively all businesses and schools to respect the brave dead.

As for the war effort across the Tetra Strait, our troops advance has been placed at a halt due to heavy fighting with Communist forces across the Neo Pacifica river delta networks which forms it's unique island landscape. Recent figures show that another 89 Terra Deaths and 67 Neo Deaths due to the heavy fortification along the delta and the discovery of several underground networks which are supplying troops and ammunition alike. Our generals have assured us that this is a minor obstacle and that victory is anticipated within the week.

There's also another troubling report coming out from the international community. War has been declared upon us by the evil juggernaut empire of Fluffywuffy, and have been discovered to been supporting the communist rebels. Hi everyone. I’m new to this so just bear with me if it’s a bit long winded. My country is willing to ‘assist’ the Neo Pacifica forces in their struggle against the oppression from Terra.

Oh, and one more thing, how do you get pictures into a post!?

The darkened room glowed with electronic light as the large wall mounted television showed scenes of death and destruction. Commander Albrecht dutifully, some would say fearfully, stood to attention, the chair beside him containing the most important man in all of the Pan Pacific Union, their immortal leader, ‘Osira’.

“Amazing, isn’t it Albrecht?” Osira said softly. Albrecht jumped as though he had suffered a hundred lashes from an electro-whip, he knew what that was like thanks to his early age indoctrination training, and he had the scars to prove it. However, his rise through the ranks had been rocket like, for despite the harsh treatment, Osira valued courage and intelligence, things of which Albrecht had lots of. He found himself smiling as he said “yes, it is indeed”.

Osira looked at his military commander, looking for any scent of sarcasm. Finding nothing, save the cold sweat trickling down Albrecht’s forehead, he nodded his approval of Albrecht’s comment and said “You’re right commander, it is amazing. It is amazing that these Terra Pacifica soldiers have got so far. Our nation is close to their borders, and yet we have stayed silent and watched on…” Osira got up, his black robe flowing around him as he walked.

“Our introduction to the world was not taken as seriously as could be expected, so now, I believe, it is time we introduced ourselves in another fashion” Osira looked to the television again. It was showing rag-tag forces of ‘communist soldiers’, they looked tired, hungry and many of them seemed to be someplace else, shell-shocked. The next scene showed the ‘all powerful Terra Pacifica army’ launching another attack.

Osira switched TV channels from Channel 5 to another, obscure station. It was a live feed from Neo Pacifica front lines, it showed the communist troops valiantly holding back another assault, until an aircraft flew overhead and unleashed a number of bombs over the trench, and the screen turned to static.

“Commander Albrecht, order the military for a full scale offensive. We are going to assist the Neo Pacific Armed forces, and organise our cells in the region. Prepare for some ‘military aide’” Commander Albrecht bowed and said “it shall be done your Excellency” and hurriedly left to begin the preparations.

As Albrecht left the room, Osira turned and looked at the carnage again, this time it showed a death toll, over a million civilian casualties. “What a waste of potential workers… Well, Neo Pacifica, you now have a powerful ally, whether you want us or not”.

Admiral Dornell looked at the waters before him; they were only a few hundred metres away, judging from navigation reports, from what Terra Pacifica had classed as ‘national waters’. The huge Slava class guided missile cruiser plowed on nevertheless, her twelve SS-N-12 Sandbox missiles ready to fire at the slightest aggression. Before her sat a number of vessels, merchant vessels, claiming to be ships from the land of AZK. They had been halted by the threat of destruction if they crossed into Terra Pacifica waters.

“Unknown military vessel, this is captain Cornell of the Terra Pacifica navy, you are entering Terran waters, leave or you will be fired upon.” The crackling voice from the other end came from a Terra Pacifica navy vessel that was now bearing down upon the Pan Pacific Union ship. Admiral Dornell spoke to his men, “prepare missiles 1 to 6 for launch”, he turned to the radio. “This is Admiral Dornell of the vessel ‘Swordsteel’, we will pass, and any military action will be responded to in kind… captain”

“Very well, Admiral Dornell, have it your way”, moments later, Dornells radio operator yelled “ENEMY MISSILES AWAY, TWO CONTACTS, HARPOON CLASS!” Dornell leapt into action, “LAUNCH MISSILES ONE TO SIX NOW! SINK THIS ARROGANT FOOL!”
The boat rocked gently as the big missiles thundered into action.

The argument was a no-contest situation, the two Harpoons came close, and one, moments before disintergrating from gatling cannon strikes, almost hit the ‘Swordsteel’ on its command station, the warhead bouncing off the sloped armour plating and crashing into the sea.

The Terran vessel, despite its best efforts, received the full impact of two of six 1,000 kilogram warheads of the SS-N-12 missiles. As the ship listed heavily to portside, Admiral Dornell looked to his men “man the machine guns, I want none of them left alive to tell the tale”. His assistant nodded as he took in the order. Dornell turned to the radio again, “ships of the AZK empire! This is Admiral Dornell of the Pan Pacific Unification Navy, we have a common adversary, and a common friend. We will provide you with the defence you require, and will protect you until such time as you dock in port.”

Dornell lowered the radio as his ship moved into defensive position, he walked outside, watching the Terran vessel slip beneath the waves and murmued, “and so it begins”.

Naval Captain Hojo Miseuba overlooked the flight deck, watching his airforce detachment making routine sorties over the landing deck as they moved on to fire missions for air support throughout the Neo Pacifica penisula undoubtably bringing destruction and death within it's armanents. In a way he began to feel a little uncomfortable with their government's position to release an overwhelming occupation force amongest the people to quell out so called 'Communist Rebels' against the will of the people.

Every engagement the Valiant's been in was a quick and brash victory against hundreds of fellow former Republic Sailors dying under the overwhelming might the Terra Pacifica Armed Forces. He himself was a moderate and didn't believe in the government's method in bringing so much destruction amongst so many people, the majority being civilians. It was like he too had their blood in his hands and was responible for the death of over a million fellow citizens under the Republic's might.

But in a way he could see the dangers of a communist country to be allowed to be developed just a few hundred kilometres from Terra Pacifica's shores and that they had to somehow respond to the terrorist attacks on Port Atlantis which in a way was somewhat provoked by Terra Pacifica's arrogant position on Neo Pacifica's right to independence, but despite his views he was here to protect democracy not practice it, he followed orders...pure and simple.

"Sir! We've just lost contact with one of the fleets borderline destroyers...we've tried contacting Captain Cronell of the Hajimoto but there's been no response... we've also recieved a message from Fleet High Command the entire nation's armed forces been placed on Alert Status 2 it appears that the diplomatic corp have broken down talks against other Communist Sympathizers...we could be very much at war... a real war not this little slaugter with us and the NeoComs."

"Orders?"asked the Captain

Commander Jikomi quickly pulled out the orders sheet from the communications system and read them to the Captain....

"I have a properly formatted message from 1st Republican Fleet HQ, RNS Sea's Horizon....message reads...

MESSAGE...MESSAGE....

ALL NAVAL FORCES ARE TO BE PLACED ON ALERT STATUS ONE! WAR HAS BEEN DECLARED AGAINST THE EMPIRE OF THE PAN PACIFIC UNION AND THE FEDERATION OF THE COLONIAL ARMY! ALL RNSs ARE TO BE PLACED AT GENERAL QUARTERS, 1ST FLEET WILL BEGIN INTERCEPT OPERATIONS AGAINST ANY FOREIGN VESSELS. ORDERS TO OPEN FIRE ON THE FOLLOWING NATIONS ABOVE IS AUTHORIZED. DESTROY ANY HOSTILE VESSELS AND PREVENT ANY EXPEDITIONARY FORCES FROM LANDING ON NEO PACIFICA.....

"Very well....first officer signal the fleet to redezvous and prepare for search and destroy operations pass on this order to the rest of the fleet. Orders to open fire on hostiles in confirmed, order all air units to return home and refuel...scramble all fighters and helos and prepare for search and destroy operations. Also order SSNs to begin shark hunting...tell them we are at war"

OOC: Pan Pacific Union, I give you credit for making a decent introduction into this role play. However, I have a few suggestions for you, especially since this is a Free Form Role Play game:

1. You cannot RP the actions of someone else, unless you get their permission first. You don't know how the Terra Pacifica Navy will react, meaning Captain Connell's broadcast. He might not have even bothered broadcasting and just launch missiles. In addition, you cannot RP the combat actions of someone else. This is in regards to the 2 Harpoons launched at your ships. Why only 2? Terra Pacifica might have unleashed dozens. Or, he might not have unleashed any.

2. You cannot RP the losses of another nation. Plain and simple, you can only RP the loss of your own military/personnel. Terra Pacifica is responsible for making the determination if your missiles hit, or if he had the same capacity to counter-attack/intercept.

The first two are the absolute basics of Free Form RP. These, no one will dispute. Now, for a couple of other basic RP pointers:

3. Why are you going to war with Terra Pacifica or in this case, aiding Neo Pacifica? Are you just imperialistic? Supporter of Communist rebels? Hate Terra Pacifica's capitalistic ways? Any reason is really good enough, it just should be spelled out. Too often, I've seen people IGNORED just for popping into an RP without any good reason.

4. It takes a while to mobilize the "entire military" for an invasion. It's helpful to RP this, since it does take time. Please also give a description of what military forces you are sending... since you're only a few days old nation, I'm assuming no ACC, CG, or DDG's.

5. In addition to it taking a while to mobilize and sail your military, remember that there are other forces in the area that are committed to protecting Terra Pacifica from outside hostilities. Hamptonshire has a rather large naval presence, and I have two Battle Groups in International Waters.

6. Speaking of International Waters, its also important to RP where you are coming from. Are you coming from the East (sailing West) towards Neo Pacifica, or are you coming from the West (sailing East) towards Terra Pacifica? Or, are you coming in from a North or South direction? This is important since there ARE inderdiction fleets in the waters.

7. You had mentioned your nation is not far from TP/NP. Could you give some more details? If you're too close, TP (or any of his allies) could send retailiation strikes against your shores. It's important for a good RP.

These are just really technical issues, that almost every RPer seems to miss when starting out. Please don't feel that I'm ragging on you, I think you set up your post nicely... good dialogue, good ambience. Just really the technical stuff that would help.

EDITED: Pan Pacific Union, I would like to respond to your attack on Terra Pacifica, but I really need to know what direction your fleet is coming from. That will make a difference to what force I use.

Pan Pacific Union-

The Hamptonian Royal Navy has instituted a Defensive Quarantine of the Terra/Neo Pacifica area. If your vessels do not immediately vacate the area at maximum speed, Fleet Admiral Lord Rosecrans has been authorized to enforce the Defensive Quarantine.

Once you have established the location of your fleet, the Royal Navy will be forced to escort you from the battle zone. If you fire on any Hamptonian vessel, we will see it as an Act of War.

The Colonial Army is sending a small land force of:

100,000 Infantry soldiers
200 heavy Infantry Fighting Vehicals
150 Tanks
1 Regiment (1000 troops) of Special Forces Parachutists

To defend the Neo Pacifican Capital

OOC: Colonial Army, I have a few questions for you...

1. Please advise how you are getting your 100,000 soldiers and supplies to Neo Pacifica (or Terra Pacifica, if you are advancing a land invasion). Will they be via WASPS (of which you would need 60 minimum)? Will it by via C-5B Transport (of which you would need 1000 minimum)? Will it be by combination, or by parceling out?

2. Please advise the aircraft types and numbers on the carrier. In addition, please RP which direction your fleet will be coming. There's a link to the TP/NP map in this thread.

3. How far is your nation from TP/NP? Do you plan to land your aircraft in Neo Pacifica?

I'm not trying to be a pain with these details. They're important when dealing with an RP like this. Especially when you have multitude of people joined in.

"Size," he blurted out in that same monotone voice. "Seriously sir. Not a major factor. It should be no problem." Dan nodded his head at the Minister. "Thanks, let me get on that now."

Presidential Palace, city of Shih’Aori, capital of Shang-Ti

“All right K’ung, what’s the situation in Terra Pacifica? Looks like their still bombarding Neo Pacifica fortifications. I’m not too happy with the civilian loses right now,” President Dao said to his Secretary of Military Affairs.

“Mr. President, Neo Pacifica certainly has taken a beating. From our estimates, it looks like almost two million dead or wounded on both sides. However, the TP military is conducting heavy pushes into NP strongholds. My estimate would be a couple of months before the terrorist regime falls…. However, it looks like we have some not so pleasant developments.”

“Come again, K’ung? What are we dealing with?” President Dao asked.

“Well Sir, it’s rather hard to say at this time. Radar operators on the Shang’Hu and the Chung’Hu report additional combatants in the area. So far, it looks to be only the nations of The Pan Pacific Union and The Colonial Army. We have an unknown number of ships from The Pan Pacific Union approaching the theatre, and there has already been some firing between them and Terra Pacifica. We’re sorting out the details on that. The Colonial Army has a small battle group approaching, with at least a wing of air support heading to Neo Pacifica. Radio intercepts indicate their coming into support NP, and will be sending ground troops as well. Possibly multiple divisions,” General K’ung Tzu said.

The President looked over the briefing sheet before responding. “Hmm… Pan Pacific Union has already fired, you say? Our commitment to Terra Pacifica was to provide defensive support only in case of third party attack. We have grounds to intervene?”

Dr. Kim Zhuo, Secretary of Foreign Affairs spoke up. “Mr. President, it certainly looks it. Although Terra Pacifica officially fired first, it was in defense of Pan Pacific Union violating Terra Pacifica waters. I’d say we have justification, based on our replies to President Takashi.”

“K’ung, what do we have in theatre right now?” the President asked.

“Sir, we have two battle groups of about twenty vessels each… carrier, cruisers, destroyers, arsenal ships, and frigates. Along with supply and logistics. We also have a submarine group in the area, patrolling the eastern waters off Neo Pacifica. Six squadrons of ASF and Super Falcons were recalled per your order recently, so we have only the Tomcats and Super Hornets on board the carriers for air support. I suggest we have a squadron of long range bombers, the AV-42’s depart from Guang-Do AFB to provide strategic bombing of Pan Pacific Union’s fleet,” General K’ung Tzu said.

President Dao nodded. “How do you suggest we operate our sea forces?”

Fleet Admiral Benjamin Lin responded. “Well sir, we’re still getting information on the exact location of the two enemy fleets. Hamptonshire is also in the theatre providing a much heavier naval support to Terra Pacifica than we.”

“Ok. For now, we concentrate on Pan Pacific Union. They’ve proven aggressive towards Terra Pacifica at this time. The Colonial Army has not provided a direct threat yet, nor have they entered Terra Pacifica waters. Once we get an exact location of Pan Pacific Union, I want a battle group in there to assist Terra Pacifica.”

“Yes, Mr. President,” Fleet Admiral Lin replied.

Guang-Do Air Force Base, Shang-Ti… two hours later

“All right folks, let’s get these birds up and running. I want these babies laden down to the gills,” Ground Support Coordinator Steven Shong said to his men.

In the process of six hour, each crew loaded twenty AGM-86C’s into fifty AV-42 “B-Down” heavy bombers. The lead planes for three squadrons taxied onto separate runways.

“Black Bear One – This is Control. You are cleared for Runway 150. Brown Bear One – This is Control. You are cleared for Runway 170. Red Bear One – This is Control. You are cleared for Runway 200. Happy hunting boys.”

Each pilot gave the copy command to Control, and slowly taxied their giant birds to their respective runways. As each pilot throttled his bomber, another set were given the Runway clearance. This went on for two hours until all fifty bombers cleared the tower.

“All right guys, lets keep a tight formation,” Major Jim Lin said from Black Bear One, lead bomber. “We’re meeting Penguin escorts in twenty five minutes, and I don’t want them to see sloppy formations.”

In under another half hour the fifty bombers were met up with their escorts, fifty PEN-33 Stealth ASF. The air group was on their way to Terra Pacifica, and would arrive in under three hours.

Prime Minister Cessar: Lord Rosecrans, what's the situation?

Fleet Admiral Lord Rosecrans: We've got some damn fools here. They are trying to enter Pacifican waters. How do they plan to deal with 200 Royal Navy vessels?

Prime Minister Cessar: It does seem a little one sided, but remain alert.

Fleet Admiral Lord Rosecrans: Without a doubt. I've moved the carriers toward the central defensive zone and the warships toward the forward staging areas. We'll be looking at a thousand Royal Navy fighters in the air. No one will get through.

Prime Minister Cessar: Excellent. However, remember- Only fire if fired upon. We are not looking for war. Do I have to repeat myself, Admiral?

Fleet Admiral Lord Rosecrans: No, Prime Minister. But if they do fire on us, I'll have our boys fire thousands upon thousands of missiles at the bastards. I plan to enact a 200:1 ration. For every serviceman killed, we'll kill 200 of theirs. That'll show them.

Prime Minister Cessar: That's a little excessive...

Fleet Admiral Lord Rosecrans: We have to let the world know that if you attack Hamptonshire, you will be hit by the full furry of our armed forces. We cannot appear weak.

Prime Minister Cessar: Alright. Just keep me abreast of the situation.

Fleet Admiral Lord Rosecrans: Understood. Fleet Admiral out.

The 3rd, 1st, 4th, 5th, and 7th Fleets are steaming at full speed to counter the recent threats.

The 4th Air Group, 223rd Fighter Wing, and the 31st Bomber Group are also readying their attack jets and bombers to defend the Defensive Quarentine.

This is non role play. It is a proper introduction... seems I got a bit carried away with the role play part... :wink:

Firstly, my apologies about making the loss for Terra Pacifica. I will make sure nothing like that happens again, and will leave the decision to who dies where up to their own people, call it uhh... not so friendly fire.

Anyhow, this is how my system is. The Pan Pacific Union is a psychotic dictatorship, so it gets away with doing what would be seen as weird by other nations.

The reason we are going to war is, simply, because we can. Emperor Osira, whilst assisting Neo Pacifica, believes that by assisting the smaller side, it will be easier to integrate them within a new strategic alliance dedicated to brining an end to the power wielded by what is now classed as the regional powerhouses... it will be a long struggle, but Osira turly believes that the time to begin the "Pacific Revolution" is now, by escalating what is already a surprisingly large "uprising".

Apart from that, over the years, people have been recruited (i.e. brainwashed or thoroughly indoctrinated) into the beliefs of the Pan Pacific Union throughout the numerous different regions of the Pacific...

(My note: I'm gathering this would be at opponents consent of course)
So I'll ask now, ever so politely:
Terra Pacifica, can I have insurgents in your home territories for RP related incidents?

WAR-MACHINE:

The Pan Pacific Union was forged through the blood,sweat and tears of many, many people after a relatively unheard of, yet extremely bloody war (the lives of 3.7 million will agree) saw the dissolution of the previous government and the position of power falling within the iron grasp of its current leader Osira.

As such, despite having the economic abilities reminiscent to a young childs pocket money, the Pan Pacific Union still maintains a strong military... after all, how can a psychotic dictator keep in power without the muscle to back him up?

The current Pan Pacific Union inventory includes:

-Every man between the age of 18 to 40 may be called into conscription... that's roughly 4.8 million people available to fight.
Women may serve if they so wish. So that's another 4 million possible.

Actual Defence Size
- 445,000 full time service personnel of all types
- 380,000 reservists/support personnel of all types
- 825,000 service personnel of all services
- Unofficial military aide to some 7,000 internal rebels located within the current conflict zone

So that's the system in the invading fleet. With the exception of 'Swordsteel', which was already active in the area, these forces are gatheirng at a location (make a name up whoever gets there first) within a well defended harbour. We are coming from the South, as our territory is a small part of Australia with a number of ex-Indonesian islands.

The fleet and invasion forces will take six weeks, RP time, to prepare and deploy due to the fact that the Pan Pacific Union is almost always conducting military exercises.

As for other assistance, well, there is a rebellion underway, why not create more trouble with our own 7,000 rebels...? :twisted:

OOC: Pan Pacific Union - No need to apologize on getting carried away with the RP... we need more good RPers who are willing to develop stories instead of the "war's done by dinner" approach. That's a good detail of your military, and thanks for giving the approach... with my bombers coming in from a location similar to RL Japan, I may have to ask for clearance from TP to fly over NP, or I may be intercepted by NP planes... who knows, but it's good to play out. :)

My only issue is the 8 Destroyers. Since your nation is less than a week old, those are pretty expensive ships to have for a small budget. For those who are pretty serious about the RP, GDP and budgets do come into play (that's why I only sent in 2 battle groups and a sub group, even though I have 12 battle groups and 6 sub groups). Personally, I'm cool letting some additional vessels come in regardless, but it's really Terra Pacifica's call on the validity; or if you can RP a good explanation...

To: The Pan Pacific Union

Pan Pacific Union, if your vessels cross the Defensive Quarantine, they will be turned back with all available force. You are outnumbered, outgunned, and outclassed. Your nation is in no condition to fight a prolonged conflict. If you continue with your plan to interfere in this conflict the Royal Navy will be forced to deter you at all costs.

If you are foolish enough to attack the Royal Navy, the Grand Duchy of Hamptonshire will consider it as an Act of War. For every serviceman killed by Pan Pacific Union forces, we will kill or capture 200 of your servicemen.

The Royal Airforce and Royal Army have increased their patrols of Pacifica territory. If you get within 125 miles of Terra or Neo Pacifica, we will know it and we will respond. How we respond is dependent upon you.

Emperor Osira looked at the papers that had been broadcast to his facility. Each one blared of one thing, threats... open military threats against his nation. The responses by the naval commander of Hamptonshire had been most disturbing. "How do you expect us to be victorious against such a force! They have over two-hundred ships stationed within this region alone!" Albrecht said.

Emperor Osira just looked on... there he was, Albrecht was once again trying to worm his way out of a situation.

"Commander Albrecht, I believe that we cannot provide the open military assistance..." he paused, "yet". He pondered his position, the small nation, economically unviable, still had a vast stockpile of weapons.

Among these were the few naval vessels and land equipment they did have working and preparing for an amphibious invasion.

The nation had this vast stockpile of weapons, and yet, because of its small size and relatively economic instability, most of their potential might was left in storage, most of it impossible to maintain until such time as economical struggles and education issues were addressed. The stuff that they classed as 'military' was relatively accident-prone as well, especially the eight destroyers, many of which would hardly move a few hundred kilometres before a maintenance issue arose.

Yet, Osira's forces, thanks to the relative ineptitude of his commanders (and secretly, he said, because of his arrogance) now faced not one, a number of massive naval forces, as well as powerful militaries.

Osira pondered on for a while, the black robe flowing, as did the curses and furrows on his brow. Finally, he came up with the solution...
A solution that would, hopefully, create a crippling blow, and yet seem like a total accident.

THREE DAYS LATER...
The large oil supertanker, another vessel similar to that of the amphibious ships of the Pan Pacific Union, slowly pounded its way towards the Neo Pacifica coastline, registered under an American nationality, the Pan Pacific Union based vessel had been boarded, and systematically searched from bow to stern for the slighest bit of military equipment, all the time with over a thousand plus missiles and cannon aimed at her hull.

All they found was the fuel oil, and large amounts of fertiliser in a seperate sealed facility. When asked why such materials were being transported through a warzone, the ships commander had, quite honestly, stated "I don't know, the company wants to save on trip money I suppose. I just ship it and do as I'm told".

No one, not even the captain of the vessel itself, knew the real reason why they were headed through the region. Underneath the vessel, located inside each of the supposed fuel bladders, sat a trio of submarines. These large subs were not designed for combat, they were meant for underwater transport of 'sensitive material', and had been acquired via the now proficient black market dealerships for missions exactly like this.

It was these subs that were the true pride of the Pan Pacific Navy, and the real reason behind the relative inefficiency of the true naval forces.

The subs, twice the size of a Russian Typhoon ballistic missile submarine, were invisible to any of the enemy sonar as they hid inside the big transport ship. As the supertanker approached the Neo Pacifica coast, the three submarines blasted it for enemy naval vessels with sonar and radar, finding nothing, they slinked out of the vessel and into the sea below. However, before they left, they doused a fuel oil tank with corrosive acid, and fitted the interior of the vessel with a special surprise. The nine-thousand kilogram package of high explosive was timed to detonate when the vessel passed through Hamptonshire naval fleets.

It would look like a complete accident, a fuel leak that had sparked a massive fire, the fire would reach the fertiliser, and the resulting fuel-oil explosion, from what was stated by PPU scientists, would have the same explosive power as a high end tactical nuclear device...

It would be a crippling blow, and yet, look like a freak accident, and no evidence of PPU involvement would be seen.

As the supertanker steamed on, the three submarines surfaced in a small cove, awaiting their arrival, under the cover of darkness, was a number of commercial vehicles, smaller civilian vehicles, and a few 'liberated' military transporters. The three submarines unloaded their cargo for the PPU rebels, small arms, anti-tank missiles, broken down light assault buggies... and most importantly.

Chemical weapons, Sarin and Tabun nerve gas, created in ways similar to that employed by the Japanese terrorist cults, were carefully packed upon a few select vehicles, and driven away. The submarines, there task complete, awaited the arrival of the second supertanker that they would hide in on their way home.

Mission successful, all they needed now was the grand finale... it was bound to be a blast...

Pan Pacific Union- No ships are allowed within 125 miles of Terra/Neo Pacifica. I have dozens of frigates and destroyers actively searching the patrol zone. Your supertanker/sub combo would be useless. Even if you were to try, it would be an act of war. Since there is no America, you cannot register it there.

I have also mined the Tetra Strait where most of my fleet is located with Mk 60 CAPTOR mines, your subs would not be able to evade all of my layers of protection, detection, and naval vessels.

I am ignoring your last post.

OOC: Although a creative idea, it would impossible to happen and I too need to IGNORE the post. Even if it was a civilian ship from a neutral country, it would be turned away no matter what. You should have really stopped the reply at the searching of the ship, to give us a chance to check it out and let it though or turn it away. Secondly, even if we did, by some chance, let it through, there would be no way that you could off load goods from submarines without being spotted. In reality, the area would be blanketed by fighter jets, army troops, and smaller dinghy boats on patrol. They would have been spotted some how. I know that it is hard to grasp, by each time you need to play the part of another nation, you need to break up the RP and give the other nation a chance to play through. It might not be the funnest thing, but that is the way a RP works. Hamptonshire is correct in saying that there is no America. There is a NationStates world and there is a Real Life world. In an RP such as this one, they do not mix.

Anyhow, on another note, any nation, no matter how old or young, cannot field an armed forces more than five percent of your national population. You have 14 million citizens, that equals an armed forces of no more that 700,000 men. If you did bring in concrips, 8.8 million of a nation of 14 million is unrealistic. That is about ten million men in combat and only four million left in your nation? That is really unrealistic. Also, how can a nation 8 days old afford Sarin nerve gas, 760 pieces of armor, 170 helicopters with your economy?

Mabye I'm being to hypercritical and getting a little carried away. If I am, I'm sorry. Before you do anything, you should go and read the stickied posts at the top of this forum. They give you an infinite amount of information on RPing. And yes, you should read through the whole thread before you reply, it will help clear a lot of this up.

BUT! I don't want to seem like a total ass. I applaude you for asking Terra Pacifia if it would be ok if there were combatants in his nation. Many arguments ensue over people not asking if they can put operatives in a nation. Beacuse you did that, you should not feel so downtrodden after my ripping you apart. You do have some potential to become a good RPer, simply because you did that one thing (and that you'll read the stickies), I have faith that your next post will be almost perfect.

Removing the command of a nation’s forces was not only foolish, but insulting.

President Dao closed his manila folder and looked General K’ung Tzu in the eye. “K’ung, we are not pulling our forces out of theatre. I gave my word to a diplomatic ally that we would support him in defense only. I plan to stick by my word to the best of my ability. However, I also fully understand your concerns and I will address Takashi personally. In the meanwhile, what’s the status of our bombers en-route?”

“All flights went airborne approximately… 30 minutes ago. They should have met up with their stealth fighter escorts at this time. They should hit the Pan Pacific Union in about three hours….” General Mai-Tzu said, while reviewing his reports. “We’ve re-plotted the courses, and we should be able to avoid Neo Pacifica airspace by 300 km to the east.”

“Very good General,” President Dao said. “Keep the bomber weapons red until I get confirmation from Takashi on theatre operations. If things don’t go as planned, be ready to turn those birds around.”

General Mai-Tzu grimaced. He hated getting his birds up there just to turn them back around. Six hours in-flight for nothing would not be easy for his bomber crews. “Yes, Mr. President,” came the terse reply.

Takashi, what’s going on with this new command directive? I have some rather irate military officials over here. I totally understand the need for command cohesiveness, but you can’t honestly expect me to allow your office to direct the orders of my military personnel?

What I will accept is for your command to give specific theatre targets for our forces to acquire and engage. However, my people must maintain control of the actual fighting orders. I know your message states this issue is non-debatable; however, I will pull my forces out of theatre if you insist on maintaining direct control of my forces.

I currently have 50 bombers en-route to engage the Pan Pacific Union’s naval threat that has already attacked one of your naval craft. They should arrive in theatre in approximately two hours. If I do not receive a positive reply from you at that time, I shall order the bombers and their escorts to return to Shang-Ti without engaging Pan Pacific Union.

In addition, I have decided to not station any Shang-Ti forces within Terra Pacifica, Neo Pacifica, or in TP/NP waters. While I will check in from time to time with the Allied Command, the Royal Navy will not follow be under its jurisdiction. The Royal Army, Royal Marine, and Royal Airforce units and personnel present on Pacifica soil will cooperate with the Allied Command structure, however.

After a long siege of DRTP positions and the destruction of several firebases and air force installations with casualties mounting to over 14,000 on the Allies in just three days, the United Republican Party leadership has decided to begin pulling out Terra Pacifican forces out of Neo Pacifica after an overwhelming and vicious counter offensive from Neo Pacifican forces and the general civilian population leaving the nation at an unrest against occupation forces.

After the offensive, independent investigators believe that over 3 Million people have been wounded, dead or missing which is heavy lopsided towards Neo Pacifica considering that this entire war was fought on Neo Pacifica soil.

Polls show that less than 35 Percent support the war against the Neo Pacifica colony after the latest media blitz of DRTP casualties and the general pressure from the international community, the growing loss of life on both sides and a looming war debt which would undoubtly result in rising taxes and the downfall of a booming economy. But Polls still show that over 75 Percent still approve of the President Takashi's job rating which is unusual considering the heavy toll on DRTP forces, but still the good handing of the Economy, Social Reforms and in general national defence.

With that President Takashi and Comrade Leader Kiko Akito of the Democratic Republic Of Terra Pacifica and the People's Republic Of Neo Pacifica have decided to make formal diplomatic contacts with each other for only the 2nd time in history and have asked the international community to help in establishing neutral peace agreements. It is generally believed that the Terra Pacifica government will seek to keep control of certain territories within the colonial borders considering their investment in establishing the colony and that Neo Pacifica demand to be recgonized as an soveriegn nation independent of the Republic Of Pacifica and that the DRTP be forced to make fianacial compensations for the destruction and death caused in the war.

Each side is eager to begin talks immediately and with the DRTP trying to hastly pull out of a war which seemed to be going nowhere and giving the public a sour view of the DRTP government. As of right now the DRTP and the PRNP have officially agreed to a temporary armstince creating a ceasefire but still leaving both nations at a current state of war.

Dear Sirs,

We would be honoured to participate as a third-party location for the Armistice between the Terra Pacificans and Neo Pacificans. As requested, this will be located at the Hamptonshire Embassy located within the capital city of Shang-Ti, Shih’Aori.

As Neo Pacifica does not have a representative Embassy in Shang-Ti, we will give your representatives the choice of staying as an honoured guest within the Presidential Palace. Or, if there is a conflict of interest, we will gladly establish a secure lodging for your representatives elsewhere.

Secure civilian VIP UltraCruise jets will be dispatched to each nation to collect the representatives for the peace accord. Due to the sensitive nature of these proceedings, and for the protection of Shang-Ti national security, we require our planes to be used. Prior to departure, your security details will be more than welcome to examine the crafts for any security violations.

If in-flight security is an issue, upon request, a flight of Shang-Ti Republican Air Force air superiority fighters will be assigned to accompany the VIP aircrafts.

We require the limit of five ( 5 ) armed body-guards for each delegation, as we do not wish to escalate any animosity. Three divisions of the Shang-Ti Republican Marines, as well as the Presidential Procession Marines, will be activated to provide security and escorts.

As we wish for all parties to be treated equally and fairly, we welcome any feedback to these arrangements.

We agree to the MiG escort. However, upon entering DRST airspace, they must divert immediately to Guang-Do AFB which is on the southern tip of Shang-Ti. We cannot allow any military craft to fly near our capital city Shih'Aori (even allied aircraft). A re-doubling of STAF Pen-33s will escort the UltraCruise upon entering DRST airspace.

The VIP UltraCruises (supersonic Lear jets) will arrive within 2 hours.

After a formal meeting between the officials from both Neo and Terra Pacifican officials, the two governments have announced that they will immediately begin negociations for what is expected to be a long and tedious effort to end the war between these nations, and on Terra Pacifica efforts to create an agreement to officially recgonize the People's Republic Of Neo Pacifica as a free and sovereign nation from the Republic Of Pacifica which the small nation effectively fought a war to break from.

Neo Pacifica Veterans of the disbanded Colonial Militia saluting outside the Shang-Ti Peace Accords.

After several years, 10 years to be exact of tedious and delayed negoiations over the tense cease fire between the People's Republic Of Neo Pacifica, and the Democratic Republic Of Terra Pacifica the former ruling nation over the old colony the two parties have finally agreed to a peace treaty offically ending the war. Details are sketchy on the exact details but it's generally believed that the treaty will consist of a three point plan in the treaty.

1. The Democratic Republic Of Terra Pacifica will officially recognize the People's Republic Of Neo Pacifica as a sovereign and independent nation and will dissolve any claims over the former colony

2. The Tetra Strait seperating The DR of Terra Pacifica and the PR Of Neo Pacifica will be considered neutral and be made into a Neutral Zone. This Neutral Zone will be enforced by the Royal Hamptonshire Navy, the DR of Shang Ti (PENDING) and any other outside party.

3. Military Units and Vehicles from both the DR of Terra Pacifica and the PR of Neo Pacifica will hereby be by banned to enter the Tetra Strait with the exception of rescue operations.

4. The DR of Terra Pacifica will officially apologize for starting the Pacifican War and will be required to pay 1 Trillion USD to Neo Pacifica for infrastructure and social rebuilding only.

5. The DR of Terra Pacifica will hereby be required to pull out all forces and civilian force completely out of the PR of Neo Pacifica unless permission is given to the provisional government of Neo Pacifica.

6. This treaty will officially end the Pacifican Wars of 2004 and will begin a new age of prosperity and healing between the two nations.

I, Sir Whelan McCarthy, Ambassador to the Democratic Republic of Shang-Ti and Mediator of the Shang-Ti Peace Accord do announce Neo Pacifica and Terra Pacifica have finally ended their war. After years of hard fought negioiation, Peace has Prevailed.

As a term to the Peace Accord, the Royal Hamptonshire Navy will perminately station a Naval Task Force to patrol the Tetra Strait. After consulation with the Foreign Ministry and with Grand Duke Reginald Leopold I himself, Hamptonshire will patrol the Strait for as long as needed.

The Grand Duchy of Hamptonshire wishes both nations peace and prosperity and offers the continued friendship of the Grand Duchy.
