Arming the revolution, an Igovian project

The People's Commonwealth of Beth Gellert State ArsenalsAid and Commercial Export Programme (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=133740&highlight=) is a recently instigated effort by the nation in question to protect and further the international revolution.

Long convinced that all the people of the world deserve to lead lives how so ever comfortable is humanly possible, Beth Gellert has numerous times fought against capitalist aggression and imperial warmongering. After suffering several hundred casualties in the recent War of Malagasy Liberation, it was decided that Beth Gellert could not hope to fight the revolution forever alone. As comrade Graeme Igo, CPCS, said to illustrate the point, "lend a people our armoured regiments and they shall be freed today, furnish them with tanks and they may be free forever."

So, comrades, where you be in need, where the revolution be threatened, look hither! The supplied link leads to the prgramme's hub from where the three branches -aviation, naval, and land based- may be accessed.

Incuded are:

(ooc:In short, BG is looking to sell, loan, and donate military equipment to left wing governments and revolutionary organisations. Capitalist imperialists and the like won't be supplied, communists in need may be given significant grants and discounts.)

Yeah, that War of Malagasy Liberation was pretty costly for both sides... Still, nobody got Nuked, and the Madagascans got their Island back, so in the end it worked out pretty well.

Not as well as Roycelandia would have liked, but since our forces have since been evacuated to Reunion, leaving the Madagascans free, we're considering it an acceptable compromise and are Court-Martialling those responsible for the debacle when we find them all.

Oh yeah, and having been on the receiving end of BG equipment, we can assure you it's all top-rate stuff .

ooc:Yes, I thought it best not to contest the withdrawl, although it's hard to resist obliterating everyone in transit. I suppose we'll just have to consider that BG's massive democracy chose to trust that Roycelandia would continue its withdrawl all the way to the African mainland.. damn gullible public. If the Stalinists were still in power it'd have been messier. Soviets Vs. Royalists and all that.

Oh, we won't be selling any of those genetically targeted bioweapons, don't worry ;)

(Thanks for the good review!)

Come on, you commies! Someone wants military transactions more in depth than, "i'll take 100 of everything, thanks" don't they?

(While I'm here, a little bump couldn't hurt, right? If you're at all confused, it's essentially a military 'storefront' for left-leaning nations and organisations, with the potential for items to be given in aid where the cause is deemed just.)
