Kelonian Military Surplus Bazaar
Sorry: Sold Out!
Following the recent modernisation of the Kelonian military, we have decided it would be prudent to raise some revenue selling off the large amounts of stockpiled military equipment we have... Cheap prices, as these are essentially military surplus, there is a limit to how much of each we can sell, so buy quickly!
Small Arms
AK-47 Assault Rifle
http://www30.brinkster.com/iamyourfear/nongod/images/NS/ak_54.jpg
Calibre: 7.62mm
Length: 870mm (415mm barrel)
Weight: 4.3kg (w/loaded magazine)
Capacity: 30 Rounds
Fire Rate: 600 Rounds/min.
The gun that armed a thousand revolutions, the Kalashnikov AK-47 - sturdy, reliable - probably the most famous rifle in the world. Cheap but effective, and lesser armies still swear by it today.
Cost: $400 per unit.
AK-74 Assault Rifle
http://www30.brinkster.com/iamyourfear/nongod/images/NS/ak74m_91.jpg
Calibre: 5.45mm
Length: 943mm (415mm barrel)
Weight: 3.6kg (w/loaded magazine)
Capacity: 30 Rounds
Fire Rate: 600 Rounds/min.
Essentially the modern equivalent of the AK-47, that is, the basic AK-47 design brought up to modern standards rather than a replacement, being more reliable and more accurate than it's predecessor. This weapon is still in service with some branches of the Kelonian military, and is a reliable, trustworthy weapon.
Cost: $600 per unit.
Tanks/Vehicles
T-55 Main Battle Tank
http://www30.brinkster.com/iamyourfear/nongod/images/NS/t55.jpg
An old but not entirely obsolete tank - could be used by newer nations as a combat tank and by older nations as training/reserve. The T55 has served a long and decorated history around the world, seeing active service as recently as last year, on the losing side in the second Gulf War - it's not often you get to have a tank that is not only still effective on the front line, but also an experienced warhorse for such a price...
Cost: $550,000 per unit.
9K57 'Uragan' MLRS
http://www30.brinkster.com/iamyourfear/nongod/images/NS/image032.jpg
A Multi-Launch Rocket System (MLRS) for the cost-conscious buyer - no overly technological features that could prove unreliable on the battlefield, jus solid Russian-designed hardware. Another system that is still in service with the Kelonian military.
Cost: $400,000 per unit.
OOC: Sorry if your orders don't get confirmed for a few hours, I'm going to bed in a bit - But they'll be sorted out as soon as I get the chance.
