Al Anbar begins rolling out new SAM

The Iraqi Ministry of Defense today announced the rollout of the SA-10 with the S-300PMU2 missile. The missile has a .93 ratio kill rate for aircraft and a .98 ratio kill rate for Tomahawk and other cruise missiles. The system has already been rolled out in Damascus, Baghdad, al-Basra, and Beirut. This system is able to hit targets as close as 10 meters and as far away as 27 kilometers with a speed in excess of 10,000 kilometers per hour.
