I think it depends what his military budget is. If he's ludicrously wealthy, there's no reason he can't have that many ships.

Well, it's relative. I'm assuming this isn't your navy, given the Doujin(I've gotta ask; just how much egomania went to that name, anyway?) is nowhere to be seen. It's not a godmod for any nation of 500-600 million with a Powerhouse/Thriving/Frightening economy.

But hey, what do I know? Which reminds me, I need to get back to dumping my own fleet...

Lets see ...

By my count, this person claims to have 982 ships (excluding the LCACs).

He's claiming that he has pretty close to 1 million people to crew those ships (including Marines).

48 of those ships are supply ships. I am not including the "hover transports" because I have no idea what he thinks he's going to do with them. If he's planning to use them as supply ships, he'd better have a really good reason why anyone should believe in them (how many hovercraft can cross an ocean?). If they were included, that would only bring the number of supply vessels up to 168.

That navy is designed to kill all of its personnel by starvation, lack of fuel, or lack of ammo- and probably all three. There aren't enough support vessels to keep than many ships at sea for more than a week or two at a time. In combat, those ships would run out of fuel and ammo after about two days, at which point they become sitting ducks for anyone armed with just about anything at all.

900 or a thousand ships in a Navy is not beyond the bounds of reason. Having such a huge fleet without enough support ships is stupid. My nation has a population of 2.5 Billion people, and I have a 1000 ship navy. More than half of those ships are support vessels of one sort or another. My fleets can go anywhere in the world and engage in sustained combat for months, if necessary, because I have the means of supplying those ships anywhere on the planet.

Instruct this person to study RL navies and take a look at how many support ships they have.
