I, too, would like to join the alliance if there's no objection.
As for a region, I could put in my plug and say that I've got a new region with unique RP value. We're currently looking for members, even those that are small, and have a surplus for military and technological assisstance for our members. It's Titan Fleet Omega, if you're interested.
Beside that a lot of what others have said is good.
