Rebellion

Kiyama-Kyoto
05-04-2004, 02:57
From the imperial palace of Kiyama-Kyoto:

Rebels have recently arisen in my nation, Kiyama-Kyoto. They have begun to revolt against my policies, claiming that I have not been a just leader, that I have been repressive and have incited hate. They are gaining considerable power currently and are moving to take the capitol. Military units have abandoned their posts and even turned on me, joining the rebels. All that remains is severely outnumbered by the rebel forces. Please assist. Armed forces are stationed outside the capitol, primarily the armor units of the Imperial Guard, but within three days the rebels will be here and we do not have the forces to repel them. I repeat, if anyone is willing to help we request your assisstance.

Your nation also intercepts a broadcast communitcation from the rebel forces in Kiyama-Kyoto:

We have tolerated the repression of our dictator long enough. People of Kiyama-Kyoto and leaders of nations desiring peace and equity unite to remove this despot from power. He has banned the freedom of speech, of religion, of the press, and the rights to justice. Any that speak against this dictator are executed and those freedoms that we do not have are used to control, hatred is used to control, the one state newspaper reports what dictator wants us to see, and religion is used to control the people. Our forces are winning this battle, and even the generals of the Imperial Forces have turned on their dictator, knowing that with the spark we have lit they have the opportunity to turn against that which they know is wrong. It is time to stand tall and beat this repression.
