Brief Description: The AIS Medium Extended Air Defense System (MEADS) or AIS Bracer, is designed to protect mobilized forces and fixed installations from current and next-generation tactical ballistic missiles, low and high altitude cruise missiles, remotely piloted vehicles, maneuvering fixed wing aircraft and rotary wing aircraft. It utilizes the next generation of hit-to-kill missiles, the PAC-3 (Patriot Advanced Capability). The entire system is designed for rapid deployment and tactical mobility and is transportable while fully loaded by C-130 or A400M aircraft for quick deployment in the theatre of operations. It will keep up with any mobilized units. The Bracer is a mobile surface-to-air missile system with a multi-canister launcher mounted on a wheeled vehicle and can be completely reloaded in minutes. Advanced radars provide 360° coverage and can operate in highly stressing jamming environments. The system is able to command a fleet of distributed missile launchers while simultaneously detecting and tracking hostile forces and targets. Bracer is most effective when used in conjunction with a layered defense system, but can stand alone. Each Bracer System features a "Surveillance Radar (SR)" unit, operating in the UHF band to provide good search capabilities, and two "Missile Fire Control Radar (MFCR)" units, operating in the microwave X band to provide good targeting capabilities. Each radar will be carried on a truck, with a fifth reload and maintenance vehicle (RMV) that can store an additional 8 eight PAC-3 missiles.

(Which would weight more) Also the real Striker fails at being deployable by C-130, so how does yours suddenly work? Good luck with the 105mm on it, it's fun watching your crew get burned alive and not having anybody be able to stand anywhere neer it when it fires.

Obviously an opponent to the Stryker huh? I think I've read that same article you seem to be quoting from. Unfortunately, in order to effectively RP, and not get bogged down in too many detail, I failed to spend several lines in the narrative fully describing all of the ad-ons, such as the RPG "fence" if you will, which obvioulsy also adds weight. The reactive armor, in the real world, is still being developed. However, the cage has proven to work in Iraq. Meanwhile, yet to be determined a success or failure is the current Army attempts to drastically reduce the weight of the MGS.

The Piranha III? Oh yeh, it's a nice machine, but not one I'm gonna sell yet. Although that does seem like a great idea. Truth is I looked at it as an option. Perhaps I should change the mobility of the MGS to a C-17 or C-5 only. But hey, since we can set land mines on our borders and put the tv show "Who wants to be an immigrant" on our local NS network, why not take a minor leap and assume my NS engineers solved some of these realistically solvable problems? But, I'm always open to criticism if it means making things more accurate and fun. Besides, I figure if the Mattracks General-Purpose Vehicle ("Humvee")(NS Exclusive) posted on your storefront can work, then why not take a shot with my NS version of the Stryker?
