The MetroDetroit embassy opens today.
Nations receiving priority are as follows:Transnapastain, Rotovia, and Ireland and Scotland.


All other nations are currently welcomed to send envoys to the Republic of MetroDetroit.

A Grunge-French ambassador will be sent to MetroDetroit if MetroDetroit agrees to it :)

The Armed Republic of Battlefield Earth wishes to send an ambassador to the MetroDetriot Embassy if it is agreed to.

MetroDetroit being a new nation has an 'open door' policy with regards to diplomatic envoys.
Please, we welcome your Ambassadors, and of course with permission we will send our own.

we wish to apply for an embassy in your country. You are free to build your embassy in our Diplomatic District.

We have a wonderful, spot set aside for you in Transnapa City, youown crews can be used to build and staff the building, our ours, We ask you to submit to the following precautions
-A backgroud check of your team and staff
-and inspection by Transnapastani OIS agents

We also ask to be allowed to construct an embassy in your nation, we will agree to any procautions you set with, being that they are reasonable

Transnapastain, we graciously accept your offer.

Our terms for an Embassy are slightly different.
Being that we are far smaller then many nations we do not have the available land to allow each nation to build their own Embassy.
We have several very secure facilities with ample space available(being that we are such a small nation it isnt as if you send an entire contingent of diplomats, one one or two with a small staff would suffice)

As a matter of fact there is still plenty of room available in the main tower.

The glistening Renaissance Center provides a striking contrast with historic downtown Detroit. The complex, also known as the Ren Cen consists of 5 office towers of 39 storeys and a 73 story main tower. It was built in 1977 and was a symbol for the rebirth of Detroit. The Renaissance Center still stands as the largest privately financed development in the United States.
You can have a great view on the Detroit area and on Windsor across the river from the observation deck on the top of the main tower. You can also take a meal at the revolving restaurant(top floor of the main tower), offering some great views on Detroit while you eat. If this is acceptable we will begin posting addressses for nations in the Ren Cen.


Also a full medical screening will need to be done on you diplomatic crew. They be refused based on a limited batery of tests-a standard VD check(we have enough and dont need extras) HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis A,B and C, and other possible contagens.
We will also do a background check of course, but our real concern is health.

As such, we would gladly exchange embassies. We welcome a representative of MetroDetroit to set up an embassy in our capital city Reisz. If you are to accept the only restrictions placed on this embassy are:
1) It shall not harbor any sort of large ordnance.
2) The total guard detail personnel must not exceed the number of 75.
3) No permanent weapon emplacement with a direct line of fire into territory not within the embassy will be erected within 100 feet of any street.

OOC:Mattopolia, I took the time to read ALL your previous posts and NO you have not claimed Detroit since '03..you dont even have ANY '03 posts.
While your nation may have been created in '03 your claim to anything even near Detroit was not made until April9th--you will note my Declaration of Independence thread was created April 3rd--six full days before your claim.
So if you wish to claim ownership of MI by all means do so. Be formally advised however that the MetroDetroit area has under gone a peaceful revolt. It's claim as an independent nation is recognized and you have NO legitamate claims to the land.
So thanks for your input but we are not buying.

As well we gladly accept the offer from Monte Ozarka, and we would like to make clear that MetroDetroit has no real standing army.
Small arms are the majority of our weapons, so large ordnance should not be a problem.
Also our diplomatic corp is stretched thin, so the actual group will consist of the Ambassador his/her family(if such exists) and around a dozen personal security officers. We trust the host nation to not place in a position where anything other then that would be required.
And if a region is particularly stable, the security would be reduced to 6 guards.

is opening up for two foreign production contracts.
We of course make first this offer towards Nations who already have diplomatic relations established with us.
However, should a nation activily seek out a diplomatic relationship with us, for the sole purpose of contracting work from our industrial complex.
They would not be frowned upon at all.
Please note that while Detroit is famous for urban squaller, it is more famous for it's unnnatrual industrial prowess, with citizens who are accustomed to the work and enjoy it, to hundreds of factories already in place.
