Koiian has just come up with a new plane... The Shadow.
There are no pictures at this time because the government thinks that it will be able to be copied by other nations. The shadow has a top speed of mach 8. With a payload of up to 900lbs it can carry a pretty big shock. It is a multi function aricraft with the main function being an air superiority plane but it can also go on ground bombings or surveilance.

Within the month we will have 400 ready to kill with. We estimate that around 800 will be built total most of them going into the Shadow fighter division.

More news when it comes in.

mach 8 is god mod, no pilot can survive it.

900lbs of payuload is weak my lightest fighter can carry over 16,000 (i think)

in one month you'll make 400 pplanes 1 foot long, to scale that might be 200 mp day if ur lucky

I think at Mach 8 the heat becomes extreme-your plane might melt. To rememdy this, it could fly in orbit. Then it gets costly. You could also make &uumlber heat shielding materials, again costly.

You know what you call something that carriers an Explosive Charge at MAch8? A high Powered Missle! Why would you want/need a Maned Fighter to travel at Mach8?? I am currently simply making Hypersonic Missles.. much more effcient

About your missle:

At Mach 6, the surface temperatures exceeds 2800 F and at Mach 8 over 5600 F; skin materials, as well as internal temperature control, become a problem
