Yes...whst wrong with that? My total military is 10.4 million men. 2.2 are in Egypt, 4.2 in AZ. The rest are reserves. Not all of those are combatants and not all are infantry.

Meanwhile, Teams D and E dug into an empty office on the ground floor of the AZ Department of War.

Huge masses of Fatimid might began to deploy on the beach and bludgeon their way to the capital.

One out of 34? You find that unreasonable considering the swam of AA ships, AA missiles batteries, figher planes, and ships having Anti-missile defenses? Fine, 5 landed. The same result.

Of course the numbers are a bit silly (but again in thier way no worse than your 1million men) the shear number of ships required to transport 4.2million men is staggering (talking in the region of 1000 transport ships just for the men never mind the ferries and landing ships for the armour...).

yes some troops could have come by air but proabably not more than 100,000 (if you actually belive soviet claims about strength levels for their airborne division, the USA is stretched to deploy 18,000 at once...).
