Currently, there is some wrangling over allies. If I had my way it would be me against LowerEgypt, no one else involved at all. If LowerEgypt thinks that is fine it will be done, but he might want some allies for whatever reason (I guess outnumbering me 10 to 1 isnt enough).



Current people in the thread:


On the side of the Fatimid Caliphate of Daylam: Daylam and possibly Pantera

Of my one ally, he has stated he will withdraw should it turn into a "XERAF SENDS 8000000000 INTO EGPT!!!111 DRTWIS SENS 9000000000!!!!111

On the side of LowerEgypt: LowerEgypt, Jarridia, Dr. Twist, Xeraph


Of these, Xeraph is future-tech so he is out, Dr. Twist is doing it so he can look better with Lower Egypt. Jarridia is the one legit ally I see, but like I said LE hardly needs anyone's help to fight me.

Current disputes that need to be settled---


1. LowerEgypt needs to post his initial government and military response to the invasion of the Sinai. Everything RP'ed after the Sinai invasion, IE troop movements of allies, is declared null. They can be re-RP'ed after step is complete.

2. Finalization of ally list. Like I said I would prefer it just be me and LowerEgypt, mano e mano. If he doesnt want it like that, let him respond.

3. All nations having anything not in the current arsenal or capabilities of some government of the world are ignored. No AI-controlled units capable of launching full-scale assaults on fortified positions.

Umm....I was one of the first to mobilize, so yes I am able to have troops near Egypt. Also, I have a military base in ViZion (heel of Italy) and I can also have them in there too. Do not doubt me.

They can be near Italy, but until LE makes his first IC response they havent mobilized yet.

Actually, I have mobilized, but I won't invade until LE makes an IC repsonse. Does that work for you? I don't have the time to wait and then mobilize as you begin invading. I am in the mediterranean at my base in ViZion and in the vicinity of Egypt (with what I posted in the IC thread).

Exactly how many troops are there? I dont feel like clicking the reload button on all 5 pages about 400 times before I find it, if you will excuse me.

Lower Egypt has enough potential allies. If he wants to he can bring in all 7.8 billion men he has been offered as aid, but then I guess I will just cancel the whole thing as it isnt any fun at all when someone tries to RP and X billion-man coalition comes right back at them.

7.5 million men? You are smaller than me by alot. If you want I can escalate this and bring in the entire Daylami military of 10.4 million men.


And LowerEgypt himself has a minimun of 80 million men he can mobilize. He really doesnt need anyone's help...

We had this little discussion before. Just because I mobilized them, doesn't mean I will use them. They are there incase something goes wrong. I plan on matching your current military in the region to make it fair.

Which is why I dropped out. It looked fun when there were just a few of us, but now with every asshole imagineable coming to get in on it, I can see what's going to happen. Someone will slightly jack some numbers, someone else will call him down for it, and then the thread will degenerate into a giant bitching-fest, soon followed by a number of ignores. That's the only thing that ever happens when more than five people get involed in these wars.

A shame, too. I was wanting a quality war RP. *shrugs* Good luck to you all. I hope it works out into a fine story, but I refuse to waste my precious NS time on something that looks like it will only fail to me.

It could be Pantera and me vs. Lower Egypt and Jarridia. Thats just the two combatants and one ally.

It would still explode even if it was just Pantera, Daylam, vs. LE and me because I'm sure Pantera (with his sudden hatred towards me) would make an attack against my homeland thus sending it into defense of me as well. :?

I am hoping all can agree to keep the war in Egyptian territory alone. If those conditions were meet it might work.



As for diplomacy, that is unacceptable without the handing over of Cairo and some kind of outlet to the outside world. Our leaders are descended from the people that BUILT Cairo, and of course there is the religious commitment.

Should we notify UpperEgypt as well, or no?

The Fatimid Caliph has no claim in Southern Egypt, so no, notifying the guy in the southern part of the country is not nessecary unless someone's forces make a landing there.

OOC: By Lower Egypt, I'm pretty sure he means North Africa, which I assume is what you're going after. If we can all agree to keep the number of allies to a bare minimum, then I'll be happy to play along, but if too many are allowed in, I'll continue to remain aloof, and just read this RP.
