CIGP

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen, this is Maria Carey from CIGP GOD IS GREAT NEWS. Today university students have all gathered in the capital city Corpus and protested against the central government. Some wish to see the independence of annexedd nations restored, some a republic, some the end of Capitalism, but all wish for the a new, Secular state.
After the Magisterium sent brave Imperial Troops in to execute the trouble rousers un anticapated violence broke out as against convention, the 800,000 protestors began to fight back.
Civil unrest has since spread to every corner of the Empire, and the Bishop-King has demanded that all foreign nation stay out of his nation, whilst the protestors all over the country have pleaded for foreign help.
The next few visions are of the evil anarchich protestors destroying all order in our peaceful society.

Roycelandia is not fond of Religious Nations and supports secularity in all its forms. Accordingly, we wish to make it known (discreetly) that we are prepared to supply, train, and arm anyone in CIGP who wishes to overthrow the Current Government.

The approach is being made to the leading Anti-Government group by an Imperial Intelligence Service Agent, so as not to arouse suspicion.

The IIS, by the way, make Mossad and MI5 look like amateurs. Their mere existence is almost totally unknown in Roycelandia and Roycelandia's Colonies- most people assume that the Imperial Security Bureau handles all the "James Bond" stuff. How wrong they are...

In the Gulag province, the southernmost part of the CIGP empire Peter Arnold slowly raised the Red Flag of Revolution over the town square of Gula, the Gulag province capital. The province, long believed to be an anti-government stronghold was the first province to deeclare its independence. An esatimated 700,000 protestors from the 12million strong population in the province slaughtered the 150,000 loyal government forces in the area, whilst around 50,000 CIGP soldiers defected to the Rebels.
A plea has gone out for arms, food, money, and freedom fighters to help the fledgling army to push into central CIGP, and destroy the oppressive government.
Meanwhile repeated rioting in the city has led to an estimated 2,000 deeaths in the last few days, with riots unabated, that death toll is expected to drastically rise.

We need guns and supplies. The rioters in the capital Corpus seem to be abating, we need pressure put on the capital to keep the government, and their elite troops deadlocked as we free more provinces. Can you help cause chaos in the capital?

OOC: If you don’t want me RPing with agents already inside your country then I can RP some other contact option.

A short encrypted message is sent to the leaders of the revolutionaries in CIGP. It reads,

A chalk mark on a Church Wall in a small town leads the Rebels to a note left in the Confessional, sellotaped underneath the seat in such a way that only those who know where it is could find it. It reads"

"Your pleas have been heard. Approximately 5 miles out of town, there is a bard with a green roof and one door missing. Underneath the haystack at the back, by the rusting tractor, you will find a trapdoor. The door is wired, so run a magnet over it first to deactivate the booby trap. Open the trapdoor, and you will find a cache of weapons. Specifically:

100 Lee-Enfield Mk III .303 Rifles
20 Bren .303 Light Machine Guns
250 Tiger .357 Magnum/12 gauge Revolvers
40 AKSU-74 5.45mm SMGs
50 M1928A1 .45 SMGs
200 HE/Lye Grenades
5,000 rounds of ammo for each calibre

Ask in the bar at the Red Lion for Mike Connery. He can help you further.

We trust these will be useful to you. As for the Capital, we have people working on the situation as we speak. -K."

Meanwhile, in Corpus...

The sniper shifted slightly in his position, keeping his Lee-Enfield Enforcer sniper rifle scoped on the doorway of the building opposite his.

In all the years he had worked for the IIS, this was the weirdest task yet... NOT killing someone.

The building across the road was an fabulously upmarket Restaurant (5 stars, according the Michelin Guide he had read when selecting a target).

He had been there for an hour and a half, watching his target dine with a woman half his age and quite obviously not his wife (or daughter, judging by the way they were acting and what she was wearing. Still...)

Finally, the oppurtunity presented itself. The two of them stepped outside, and just as their lips met, a Photographer leapt out from behind a car and took several, very incriminating, Flash Photos. Momentarily dazzled by the flash, the Minister for Religious Morality and Values and his mistress didn't see the muzzle flash from the sniper's rifle. The silencer muzzled the report, and a nanosecond later, the .308 bullet smashed through both the Minister and his mistresses' kneecaps, sending the pair sprawling onto the footpath as the photographer continued photographing. His work done, he melted back into the shadows, just as the ambulance arrived to help the injured minister and "friend".

By this time, the Sniper had broken down his rifle and was long gone, vanishing into the Underground Rail network and from there onto a safe house.

Throughout the night, Religious Institutions were bombed (never churches, oddly enough), and more riots were incited, along with extra looting... the police mysteriously discovering all their cars had flat tyres, sugar in the engines, or pressing engagements elsewhere...

OOC: Like I said, the IIS are very good at what they do. I hope I didn't overstep the mark with the Minister thing. If I did, let me know and I'll edit accordingly...

To reply to the lawlessness in the natons capital, the CIGP Magisterium granted General Gabriel full autocratic powers. His 50,000 men inside the city have ordered a full time curfew, anybody in the streets will be instantly shot. No arrests, no prisoners. Re inforcements of up to 250,000 men will be arriving in the next two days to handle the situation.
50,000 men and 1,000 tanks began to roam the capitals streets.

General Che greeted the rebel leader. Peter Arnold was pleased to meet him, and his many many supplies of weapons as well as basic living supplies such as blankets, food and water. Standing at the head of his 2,ooo volunteers in his Khakis and black beret with Red Star he looked like a true revolutionary hero.
He is from Communist Likon, its youngest General at 32. After hearing of the rebellion he immediatley resigned and formed a revolutionary volunteer force. He is in no wat connected with the CL govenment, although he does have their support.
"Mr Arnold, we will fight with you,but after the war we will leave, we have no wish to force our system upon the people of CIGP after they have gaineed their freedom, but until then i hope we can be allies"

With citizens of the capital slaughtered and many of his men dead Geabriel's only comfort was that the city was once again quiet. He knew that now he could trun to more important matters. The Gulag uprising as it was now known was turning the far reaches of the Empire into anarchic states. The Southern and Northern parrts of the Empire were mainly seperated by a huge bay, and the Guug desert. He knew that to defeat the rebels before they fully gained momentum he would have to stop them in the desert.
He grabbed and aid and made him write down orders to General Lemmor, the Desert Fox. With 30,000 men and 200 tanks he would have to stop the Rebels before they could cross the desert. In the meantime he would fortify the Northern Empire, and prepare for the counterattack.

The railway station was under siege, but the rebels were to strong for the few security guards holding the last CIGP posession in the Gulag. The rebel troops had grown to over a million infantry, with 740 captured tanks and 1,000 captured artillery pieces. Soon the last guards were captured, those who surrendered were executed. This was a war without prisoners.
The train was connected to the trracks, it was the only railway line across the desert, 20,000 troops would make their way across the railway in several trips, whilst the rest would march, as the original 20,000 created a HQ.
General Che and his men moved towards the port town, St Augustias, where there was believed to be many vessels capable of making the trip up the coast.

the rebels were being slaughtered, bombs fell and bullets mowed them down in unbelieveable numbers, yet they fought on. eventually troops worked their way out of the ridge and attacked the Imperial troops. Numbers prevailed despite their losses. The Imperial army tried to retreat, but General Che was waiting, at the first sign of Likonian ships he had come back to help, and with him had brought 2million trroops and thousands of tanks. In hours the Imperial army was wiped out.

50 miles away from Corpus General Gabriel was inspecting a large room. It was cavernous, one kilometre wide, and 7 high it was filled with levels and platforms. All covered in 20,000 pods. Gabreil was underground of this enormous secret facility, watching the face of one of his best troops as he was stripped and placed in a machine. Electricity began to slwoly gather in wires all around the machine before lighting it with Crimson fire. Gabriel heard the soldier scream as electric currenst began to swirl up the cavern, lighting the 20,000 pods.
"How long does it take?" Gabriel asked the head technician, Professor Thaed.
"About 23 hours sir, and another hour on the train to the city." Thead replied. Soon 20,000 clones would be made operational and pumped into corpus everyday. Gabriel breathed a sigh of belief, his last line of defense was becomming operational.

In Corpus the Magisterium had ordered a quota of 5,000 dead everyday, to make sure that order was kept and when the clone army arrived there would be enough supplies.

The Rebel Army took its places. Comming out of the desert there was just one last city before the capital. That city, Vareb, was slowly being surrounded. Lemmor ducked underneath a fallen apartment block. The army he had been put in command of after his escape from the rebels was undersupplied and de-moralised. At least 150,000 had been slaughtered by the bombs and the falling buildings and another 100,000 had defected. Most of his artillery had been destroyed and different regiments of his troops were fighting within themselves. In the city centre with him were 500,000 loyal troops, with 20 artillery pieces. The Magisterium shouted. 750 Bishops who ruled the nations voices screamed over that of the Bishop-King, their leader.
"Gabriel has gone mad, creating life no one but God may do that, he and his clone army must be destroyed!" Screamed Bishop Lafayette, the notorious Right Wing leader of the Advocates, the dominanting group of the Magisterium. Shouts from his 401 supporters echoed him.
"Desperate times call for desperate measures, Gabriel is our last hope, surely God will not disapprove in such circumstances." Shouted Danton, the leader of the Leftist Martyr faction. Looking around he saw the doubting faces even within his own faction, he quietly sighed and decided to play his final hand. "Lafayette only wants us to deestroy Gabriel so he can become the most powerful man in the Empire after your majesty, he wishes to kill Lafayette, destroy the invaders and rebels, and displace the King. He thinks of himself, i think of the nation!"
This time no doubt came, the chorus of cries were very certain in condemning Danton. He was lead out of the chamber immediatley by the Kings guards, and against the wall met his God.
