OOC: i am going to open up a new thread and make the "Cold War" effect on the city that has been renamed "Burning City" by the RIA, in the nation of Camewot...{i am assuming that this is now 1 year on from the original war)

General Tatarin, Commander of Burning City, Midlonian Forces was sitting in his headquaters staring out over the remains of the port-city, Midlonian Engineers were slowly trying to re-built the port and the building that had become decimated by the Attack 1 year ago, he sighed and kept staring out of the window and wondered if anything different would happen today....

All forces in Burned city have been deployed in a street fighting style. It will be a hard fight to take the city back if it is attacked

Commander Nguyen flew his K-29 Firehawk on a combat air patrol over Camewot. He didn't get to fly often nowdays, and was greatful for the oppotunity to get away from paperwork. He looked to his right and saw Captain Woodward's aircraft on his wing.

One year on, and the situation in Camewot remained a stalemate.

One year later, Camewots missiles are still around the city, heavily gaurded by allyed forces.

the muggles and animals troops memorial marking the place where 100,000 were killed in one fell swoop is still there. There are many pilgrims constantly coming to pay their thanks despite the war attitude they don't care, plus with the country at the moment being in the rejected realms :evil: the countrys stability is low!

BTW: Midlonia, I have heard about 10 civilians wanting to leave the Burning City to go live in Camewot territory, can we negotiate?

Tatarin Sighed and clicked the STU-4 down onto it's reciever, he wondered wether it was all worth it, at present they were outgunned, however if they should go to war again, then it'd probably be an awful lot easier than the last time....Especially with all the planning that had been made by the tatics dept.

i am now deploying a further 3 million men as well as another 100,000 tanks and 1000 pieces of artillery. I will also bring 500 fighters and bombers as a gift to Camewot. My navy is pushed...also i am bringing lots more ammo and fuel.

The missiles flyed intoy the air and hitted the dock and the Army Hospital.

5 seconds after this 500 bombers rose dropping bombs on the Burning City, plz wait putting ground troops in let them have it from the sky first.

The SAM Batteries had been in Place for a while, and quite a few of them at that..., they target the simplistic missiles and shot many of them down, the Eurofighters that were sationed just offshore roared into action against the Enemy Bombers, they began firing their cannons and missiles hoping to knock as many bombers out as possible...

the muggles and animals fleet sent missle after missle into the Midlonian fleet and moved forward to engage. Meanwhile the Muggles and Animals infantry is in confusion after begin hit by 6 or 7missles. Many flee believing it to be a repeat of the year before. But they are soon steeled and now march upon the burning city.

The 5 missiles left( there are 50 left on my teritory) were targeted at now known SAM Batteries.
The Piranhas who were given by me attacked the fleet in front of the Burning City


Death ratings: 500 soldiers died, 25 bombers shot, 20 missiles exploded

As the M and A force reached the outskirts of the city, suddenly the main weapon was unleashed, 10,000 horseman rode forth at full speed riding down any sort of resistance. Until they met the tanks. The infantry then came with tanks for support. The artillery took its first shots at the massive fleet harboured outside the burning city.

Casulties so far, 400 men, 800 cavalry, 22 tanks and five personel, five escort planes and 8 frigates.

As there has been no reports of damage, i must assume that there is a problem with communications, so i am withdrawing and regrouping my forces. My troops and army was not preapred for urban warfare, we were outmatched, but the cavalry where a surprising sucess(in some areas). I am now pulling back to original line and am now turning the artillery on the burning city. I will commence firing in

As the enemy began firing on the riders they broke formation and rode as fast as they could around the tanks turrets hoping that iw udnt b able to manouvere fast enough, as they were distracting the artillery fired upon the enemy tanks and the tiger tanks advanced with the infantry upon the city hoping that the riders would keep them ditracted. The riders were armed with pistols and so shot back as much as possible but killed very few men.
Please post casualties, mine are, 400 more dead riders, 300 more dead infantry, 82 planes and 42 bombers, 27 tanks and 2 pieces of artillery and 21 personel.

well most positions are dug in, but so far we have lost about 200 men, 5 tanks and one of our battleships has become Badly Mauled

i see, now men plan x, push forward ,(as the men enter the outskirts of the city, more fires start making the city a dangerous landscape to fight in, the riders once again proved tyheir power riding down alot ofinfantry and leaving the infantry behind, meaning the riders were out on their own deep in side the burning city.

*Burning City, R.I.A HQ*

Marshal de Luynes had a pounding headache. This war had so rapidly esacalated, he felt that he no other choice than to make a full-offensive. it wasn't supposed to be like this, but de Luynes had no choice. Something had to be done. He turned around from facing the giant maps of Camewot that were hung up all over his tent.

"Gentlemen, we must set the operation in motion." He turned towards the agressive Midlonian, General Tatarin. de Luynes chose his words carefully, knew that Tatarin was used to doing things his own way, probably chaffed at being under a "foreign" commander. But the R.I.A. would have to be unified, strong. He as well as Tatarin must play their cars correctly.

"General Tatarin, the 1st Army Group (Midlonian) under your command will spearhead our breakout of this ruined city. I have attached Field Marshal de Menier's III Corps to your command. I assure you his troops are spirited and will follow your oders..to the death. The enemy hasn't set up fieldworks along the western end of the city yet, it is there that you will strike. I will leave the tactics to do this up to you. My suggestion is that you concentrate troops near the freeways, as they will provide us with marching room. Make sure you puch us a big enough hole for a full withdrawl. I am requesting that you leave us some armour though, as you seem to have pleanty of it for a reargaurd."

"General Sidious, you are in command of our 2nd Army Group (Sith). Your task during this breakout will be to attack the Eastern Sector of the enemy's main trench line. This is only a diversion, but keep the enemy in your sector tied down. Hit them near the old town hall and try to roll up any exposed sailents. Keep the enemy occupied."

"Commander Thrawn, you are in command of our Armoured Reserve, as many Dracun tanks make up this formation. Loan some of them to General Tatarin for the meantime. As soon as their is a breakout though, you are to take this armour and make an immediate drive for the capital twin cities of Cameowt. Press all reatreating enemy units hard, and don't stop until you reach the twin cities and cut them off from the by now hopefully pulling back enemy army."

"Field Marshal du Roi, you are now in command of our 3rd Army Group, (Army de Chalons, Allied troops) Being the biggest Army group, you must make sure to strike the Northern Front of the enemy. Hit them with many small hard diversions. Keep the enemy occupied. Tie them down. Then slowly whitdraw all R.I.A. troops towards the West. Put them on a hard march towards the Cameowt capital. Make sure to use Allied troops as well as your familar Goth-Franc troops. I want everyone involved on this. Use the Jordaxian Corps as a rearguard in fact. have them cover the breakout of all Army Groups and then protect the rear of our march."

"Everyone, Air Marshal Vicennes has a plan to use all our air support, suggest we give him full cooperation."

The Air Marshal stood up quickly. He was a tall thin man with a slender point of a nose and a harsh voice. "Gentlemen. I want all of our close range air support to help the untis in the breakout. Fly close and provide covering fire. Make sure the Western side of the city is pulverized. All long range bombers, We need you to fly ahead and pund enemy communications, resrves, an supplies. Provide the utmost confusion in their ranks. All others prpare to move out with the main R.I.A. collumn."

de Luynes joined the Air Marshal. It was only then people noticed how young he looked. He blinked his large clear green eyes. "I am going to keep this short and simple gentlemen. I hardly know you all on a pesonal level, yet I have faith in you. I believe in our cause. I feel that if we can fight together now and follow this plan, we will prove that we are unfied. We are the R.I.A. Together we can make them tremble. Some of you may question me. Others may feel chaffed a serving under my command. But trust me, what we do hear today will make a statement. We are going to get what we want. United. Let's make this work gentlemen!" de Luynes raised his right arm into a fist and held it out in salute. "For the .R.I.A.!"

*The Burning City*

All over the burning city, the R.I.A. war machine lurched into action. Surprised enemy units found themselves vastly out numbered and fell back helter skelter towards their own lines. Waves of black coated Goth-Franc troopers, urged on by sword waving officers followed them into the breach. The entire Northern section of the city was a huge firefight. The question of every Goth-Franc mind was were the Sith troops keeping the enemy occupied on the right, and more importantly, what was going on on the left.

Air support thumped overhead, combating with enemy units. At a particulary large apartment complex that was still semi-intact, Goth Franc troops sparred with enemy units for every inch of ground. Bayonets were fixed and Marshal Gauguin of the V Corps led the attack personally into the building courtyard. It was pure pandemonium as the fighting became hand to hand. Chasseurs and Zouaves of the Gaurd were brought up. So far along the Army de Chaolns front, V Corps was making steady progress and actually rupturing the enemy lines. II Corps wasn't doing as well though, and the IV Corps attack had been bloodily repulsed after General Debornes Division broke in panic after being strafed. Particularly admirable was the way though the Yamarovkan brigade had been fighting alongside Goth-Franc line regiments. The R.I.A was workig together.

(OOC: Although I was not part of the initial war, as a member of the R.I.A. I feel inclined to post [not attack])

So the firefights have started up again in Camewot Mikial Zakrufs, Commander of Mikosolf Expiditionary Millitary Forces, thought to himself as once again he stides down the massive coredoor towards the Chairman's office.

"Well, it has been sometimes since we last spoke Mikial, what brings you my way again?" Ms. Eunice Elysian, Mikosolf Chairman asks.

"I have not been postoned, no millitary actions led to no buisness with you Chairman." He says

Shaking her head slightly she says, "Its R.I.A. and Camewot isn't it? Of course the lull wouldn't last. So what is it I can do for you?"

"I feel that the best way to support our allies will be to up munitions and millitary food supplies to aid their war effort. Furthermore, upping the warning status to DEFCON 3 incase of attacks on the shipments." Mikial says.

"I agree, I shall tell Board Member Lemming (Head of external commerce) that arms productions for exportation should be increased." Mikial turns to leave, "Oh and Mikial, you don't need to leave your visits are merely buinsness."

"As you wish Chairman," Mikial says hearing the massive gilded doors of the office close behind him.

As General William Falknor watched the scenes of chaos, all around he knew the infantry wouldnt be able to hold much longer, they needed reinforcements desperately, but if they didn't arrive he still had a plan. With losses reaching thousands all that remained was a massive cavalry charge supported by a tank attack .The airforce was totally smashed, the infantry were scattering but the navy was holding so if this attack failed then there was still the possibility of escape. Even as he thought this the attack began. 5000 cavalry charged down in one of the greatest cavalry charges in history. Men were dispatched left right and center but it was all to no avail. I just wasnt enough, the cavalry got too far ahead and the tanks just couldn't support them. The infantry fell back, the tanks turned around and began fleeing and the cavalry turned and were cut down in their hundreds. Of the over a million men that went to Camewot only 20,000 were leaving. The airforce was curshed and the people's hopes shattered. The MA had been defeated by the RIA!!!

From a ruined building general Sidious was launching his assault.
"I want as many snipers as possible to provide covering fire on the main assault of the trench. Provide smoke screen cover as well. "Dam it"

General Sidious a master of tank warfare, was not used to this, what he deemed as an un-civilised form of conflict. Fighting hand to hand smelling the sweat of your enemy as he knows death is near. what on earth is the point of it. "I miss my tank" he thought to himself.

The attack was going well, Sith troopers in their white armour advanced upon the trench line. Their full body Kevlar armour absorbing or deflecting most enemy fire. In a hail of rage the troopers attacked two sections of the trench (each attack 800 meters away from the central point at the town hall) flame throwers firing their chemical love skinned the enemy alive, machine gun fire from within ruined buildings rained down upon the enemy forces. This continued for well over an hour.

"How many tanks do we have at our disposal" the general asked
"Eighteen sir"
"Most are being used in other sectors of the city"
"okay corpral here is the plan, I want 35 squads of men to accompany the tanks on an assault upon the central belt of the trench. (Town hall) They enemy will have most likely pulled men away from that section to reinforce the defending section further along the line. I want two tanks to ram into the town hall causing it to collapse onto the trench creating a bridge for our troops I then want in the resulting chaos for all 35 squads to breech and infiltrate the right hand section of the trench. Is that understood."

"Yes Sir"
the tanks began to move knowing that this was a kamakazie mission they would most likely not survive the collapse of the building.

Guevara Rocha is now sending troops against the Imperialists. I have sent over 2 million troops, plus many tanks and high speed vehicles. Plus my Air Force has been mobilised ready for attack.
I am giving Muggles and Animals full control over my 2 million men and vehicles.

As the Ma forces arrive home they are met by a swarm of young men, the people are for this war one of them said to him and we all want to fight, we hav all brought horses. Inall 600,000 horseman join the 2,00 onboard with another 8,000 men coming, they boarded the ships and headed for Camewot on the opposite shore to all of the fighting!

I thhank you Guevara Rocha but i cannot accpe this gift, will instead give these proud troops to Camewot, as i have a secret plan of my own which will be put into action immediately!

As teh battle in the far west continues, The unloading of the horseman is complete and they prepare to ride to the capital. They are supported by many tanks and infantry in lorrys and fast vehicles. They now speed towards the capital!

Really...All in one battle? You are being so unrealistic its pathetic. Your operation would take at least a week or two. This battle has only been raging for a few hours....And you were fighting it so well too earlier!

Marshal de Luynes read the dispatches and continued to draw lines on the map. The report from General Sidious was most satisfactory. His Sith troops were fighting the trench war on the Right brilliantly, using covering fire ect. In the center, the Army de Chalons was bogging down, but it was doing its job well and pinning the enemy down. Field Marshal du Roi reported the situation to be "well in hand."

All that was neede now was word from the breakthrough......

To General Sidious,

Your men are doing a magnicifent job. We admire your courage and resolve. Continue your operations as planned and respond to any situiations that may arrise. Once again, we congratulate your men and tactics.

General! This is Field Marshal de Couer, commading Goth-Franc IV Corps. The division I have linking us, General Deborne's has just collapsed, being made up of mostly new recruits. But its scouts have informed me you are going to be turning the trench line....Could you possibly role up the entire enemy line as to relive pressure on my position? So far we have lost 5 miles again.
But more men are arriving from in the land, wanting to fight for theire country.
But the bombardments are still going on, the city is completely ruined!!

Just as the Camewotian lines beign to break the much needed reinforcements of cavalry arrive, they cause chaos and horror everywhere. Men fall back to the city losing all the land that they have gained. It isn't enough however and once again the cavalry are pushed back but this time they have the strength to push forward again. They hit the lines hard sending the troops reeling. The cavalry push into the city then leave it and gallop around to teh shore where the fleet is waitng and the fleet opens fire on the troops pusueing the cavalry, the cavalry then turens round and hits the remaining infantry hard. The cavalry then beign to board onto the ships, happy that they have done alot of damage!!!

In AFRP, Millitary HQ...

"So we have confermation of the call for assistance?" Mikial asks.

In the R.I.A. held section of the waters, Admiral zing gave the order for an air defense of burned city and helicopter strikes of enemy positions.

The commander of the A.R.C. troopers order his troop foward the most elite of the elite opened fire on enemy positions. Some went dwon and when other were shot they continued to fight. The the troopers ran in and out of the trenches advancing on the enemy forces. Rockets flew from rocket launchers. Some hit enemy infantry positions other hit tanks other hit nothing. "Take out the calvery!" the commander shouted over the battle. The A.R.C. troopers ran toward the calvery.

Meanwhile the tanks "flew" out from burned city heading for the twin cities. They numbered most of the entire tank force of the R.I.A Forces. Some infantry men rode on the tanks, to help the siege. The Vollmerian Airforce gives its full support to the groundtroops while other aircraft continue their attacks on the city. Artillery batteries shoot at the attackers, in the meantime MLRS's are being brought into position to open fire on the city


ooc: Sword and Shield means that there is a shield of infantry and armor forming an anti tank screen (at-weapons, mines, tanks etc) in this case supported by airforce, if that line becomes weak somewhere the Sword(lots of tanks and other AFVs) is sent in the beat the opponent back. I am still waiting for my opponent to post their losses, i even find it strange that someone can still attack and use choppers while he is pinned down by aircraft.

As the cavalry finished boarding the ships, the fleet set of for home...there was nothing that they could do as it was all too late. The RIA were breaking through and now they couldn't be stopped.

The modified Kirov cruisers Masamune, Tiflis, Partisan, Excalibur and Aurora launch their missiles in salvos at the Midlonian fleet. The fleet is escorted by Vanguard class missile destroyers and Anenome ASW frigates. The Orca II Aircraft Carriers Complement of K-32 interceptors is flying CAP, the accompanying K-35 fighter bombers preparing to launch strike and fighter sweep missions.

16 Redfish submarines launch their Echidna cruise missiles (They carry eight each, and the subs also have standard generic cruise missiles, similar to Tomahawks) at the locations RIA ground forces around the Burning City. Echidna missiles contain 30 smaller missiles that are released at a computer programmed point, and use radar tracking to find targets to kill, and if it fails to find targets, the small missiles are programmed to strike seperate locations in a 3 km wide impact circle.

Inflight refuelling tankers are situated many miles off the coast, to refuel long range strategic bombers and their escorts enroute to their targets. These strategic bombers are currently preparing for launch.

The Orca, a smaller aircraft carrier with MiG-29 aircraft, has just left port and is enroute to the theatre of operations. It is escorting a landing force of an armoured Brigade and a combat engineer brigade.

The ground forces already in Camewot consist of three brigades, one armoured, one marine and one mixed logistics and artillery. Each brigade consists of 40,000 men.

The armoured brigade consists of Leclerc tanks, and BMP-4M (modified, better electronics) APCS, SA-12, SA-14 and 2S6 air defence with supporting Hokum helicopters. They are on standby, waiting for enemy positions to be weakened.

The marine brigade consists of KT-90 Light Tanks/Recon Vehicles, T-90 MBTS, BMP-4Ms, SA-12, SA-14 and 2S6 air defence, and Harrier jets (British version). Apart from the Harriers, they are on standby. The Harriers are launching to conduct strikes on ground forces.

The artillery and support brigade consists of KR-300 Rocket Artillery (Copy of the MLRS), KT-150 Self Propelled artillery. (Same air defence as other brigades. The logistics equipment are not stated here because it is miscellaneous tanks, bulldozers, etc.) The Artillery are currently are moving into position, and will begin a bombardment in several hours.

Im gonna ignore this, cause you cant just break out with troops and stand in a few days in front of my capital knowing that day and night 500 fighters have been firing at you + my troops held a line.
They say other people are godmodding but is really it!

We are sending Camewot a Hand of God orbital ignore cannon that will mysteriously teleport all enemy soldiers off their soil and back to their home countries like nothing happened.

2 Jordaxian hover carriers have been deployed to the nation (small-moderate sized carriers based on hovercraft tech) These will arrive in 4 ns months. The carriers are loaded with medical supplies and suchlike for R.I.A troops. The current navy deployed has been ordered to come off alert, but remain vigelant for any Camewot aerial attacks.
Just to remind others, the Jordaxian navy is one power projection package + 2 Unam hover carriers. The power projection has been there for a while.
