Spartan-II Program

Itranto

Greetings. This is a program that will help turn your children into productive members of society.

The Spartan-II program is founded by Itranto and all those who wish to be a part of it shall be rewarded greatly. This program takes children and trains them to be extraordinary soldiers.

If you choose to enter your countries youth into this program, they will be brought to our training facilities. Here, they will learn how to fight and how to work with a team, use weapons, use computers, and any other skill that you want!

When they are at the right age for military action (18-19), they will be brought back to your country with weapons and technology* designed for them. They will be faster, stronger, and smarter.

We will admit that this program is dangerous at times, but has produced many well-developed armies.**

We also ask that you only send children that are around the age of five, since they will need to be disciplined and so that they can follow orders.
If you do send children that are above the age of 5, then it will take longer to train them.

* this technology includes MJlONIR ARMOR: made of the finest alloys and steel. This can be customized for any Spartan.
a personel AI for helping them complete missions

**during augmentation, there have been a few rare cases of children being injured or killed. These augmentations are used give them strength and a faster reaction time. They also allow them to wear the MJLONIR armor. THESE ARE NEEDED!

All that your country has to pay for though is just the cost for the equipment and a small service fee. WHAT CAN YOU LOSE?

How many people maybe accepted from a population of 8 million and whats the fee?

Ilham is currently designing a Spartan program for our own use.Could we look into a matter of exchanging technology and knowhow?I have on offer sophisticated nanotechnology and some picotechnology pieces.Possible sale of various interstellar/FTL propulsion systems included.

Have a single Dwimmer-Class Strike Cruiser, the beginnings of my Space Guard. It can be used for training in orbit. Is hyperspace-capable.As well as an asteroid base. This is where my Ilham Spartans are currently being trained.

OOC:As of now,am still with a mixture of upgraded future/modern tech for my nation.

ooc: the last time I played Halo was a month ago

ic:

okay, you can have about 10,000 children brought to my training facilities. The fee is only $2 per child.

for the training program, I'll tg you to trade info and tech.

$2 USD?

Your insane. The estimated cost of our own internal program (similar to yours) esimates 100 million per child for training and other expenses (housing, food, etc).

Can I pay you in warpstone? Warpstone is a fairly radioactive material but can boost a weapon/engine/somethings power beyond normal engineering. Unfortunantely the weapon may be unstable, but i believe the gain is worth the risk.

AFRP is right, you are way off. By millions. $2?? Thats like the cost of 1 sock.

Actually, it isn't that expensive. The children have to learn that they can't always rely on the people who are older than them. they are given their own tents, made in the facilities, for housing, and they must acomplish tasks to get food. In other words, they are divided into teams, they then must work together to beat the other team to win food.

The losing team will then have to hunt their own food. This shouldn't be a problem since our forrests have tons of wildlife in them. We also breed animals so that the forrests will always have life in them. If there is a problem, then we can easily clone animals and give them food.

This all builds on top of each other so they can learn how to survive.

But you do raise a point. I guess I was underestimating the cost. It will now be raised to 5,000,000 dollars per child. If a country cannot pay the amount at the time, they can pay us later.also, if the country is below a 50 million pop., they can pay 1,000,000 per child

Since I forgot to list them before...

The courses of this program include:

History
Math
Science
Health
Weapons Training
Phys. Ed.
and other nessescary courses.

There are also Simulaters so that they can learn what it is like in a military operation.
Occasionally there will be "deathmatches" which use §STINGERS§, instead of bullets.

§-patented

stingers are tiny robotlike bullets that will latch onto a person's skin. they then pierce the skin causing the person to fall asleep for about 4 hours.

oh boy. $5,000,000 is only the srvice fee. the country will have to pay for the equipment later. i said that in my very first post

well, how many Spartans do you want?

if its 10,000 then it would be 10 million dollars worth of it

I'll take ten thousand and i'll wire you 100,000 tons(a few tons could power a crusier mile long because it is so powerful).

(OOC: According to the books, there were 150 original candidates for the program. Only 75 were deemed suitable, and were taken to be trained. By the end of training and augmentation, only 30 were capable of active duty, with the other 45 dying, washing out, or being rendered unfit for service. That would give the program a success rate of 40% I thought that might be helpful, though you are under no obligation to use it.)

Assuming you _do_ wish to use previous programs as guidelines, I shall send you 75 of my nation's most suitable children, as well as 375 million in tuition. I shall return in several NS years to purchase their equipment, as well as pay for any damages they may cause to you nation.

i know that it wasn't that effective in the book, but we have taken extra precautions for the operations and augmentation. The percentage of succesfull Spartans has risen from 40% to 75%. We also only give live ammunition to the older Spartans.

Also thanks to our clonening systems, if the child is injured in an operation, we can quickly clone vital organs if they were damaged (which we highly doubt will ever happen).

Interesting idea. If the original program had a 40% success rate, what rate do you anticipate for this program?

OOC: He said that he raised the success rate to around 75%, right?

Anyway, intresting concept. They will prove to be an excellent testbed for new weapon systems.

IC: The USSCF would like to send approximately 200 "candidates" to this program. Note that they may have certain...disiplinary issues in the beginning, as we will be drawing them from the "slums." But we're confident that you'll be able to mold them into effective soldiers. Depending on the effectiveness of the finished units, we may be sending a larger group.

They will, once old enough, compete with another super-soldier project we have going. The results should be...intresting.

of course, i will accept the warpstones. send them when they are ready

This idea is wonderful. As my nation already has a SPARTAN program, we would be willing, as you have not shown hostilities to us in the past, to trade information about training and technology with you. I respectfully ask this on behalf of the Derscon Supreme Commander of the General Staff, Prince Otto von Bismarck.

Thank you,

General Werner von Fritsch
Commander-in-Chief of the SPARTAN Forces

Wiring 100,000 tons. How long will this take?
Itranto
05-04-2004, 01:12
the process will usually take 13 to fourteen years. It really depends on the child actually.
