Sir jOno the fifthe was obsessed with the subrmarine. In fact taht it is a rumour in lima beens that it was this obsesion that sent him to insanity. But there has been some sucsuss to the out reagous 2.5 trillion pumped into Lima Been's submarine program during his rule. The result is the now de-classified Hilo class. The hilo class revolves around a brand new type of reactor called the plasma-X. The plasma X uses a very small thermonuclear reaction to turn lead into such a high ehat that it turn into plasma. This plasma is very very hot and it stays hot for quite a while. So the lead is turned to plasma and the ehat is harnessed through steam which in a new engine design heats the water so fast that it shoots like a rocket this steam is directed at the stern of the ship and that is tthe pulpusion. It is quite quiet and very efficant. Although it is much more complicated this is the standard desgin. The rest of the stats of the sub are classified. the only stat declassified is the max speed in trials: 72 knots.
