As of this moment, an official state of war exists between the McLeodian Empire and the rogue state of Dracun Imperium. They claim to fight to prevent the killing of civilians, and do so by carrying out large scale bombing raids on cities.

This action will not be tolerated, and the murderous, treacherous government of Dracun Imperium will be overthrown, replaced with a less genocidal alternative.

Two full squadrons of EB-1C Vampire bombers, and their escorting Al-52 Dragons and MEB-1CM Motherships, are currently undergoing pre-flight checklists, ready for immediate launch to conduct attacks on known military targets in Dracun Imperium.

Two ODC-10 Orbiters have already been scrambled to launch a constellation of NIRTSSATs over the country in order to monitor military activities and bases within DI.

We have heard of your declaration of war against the Dracun Imperium and are concerned, principally because we were a one-time arms supplier to them. We abhor the use of our weapon systems being used for genocidal purposes, as it tends to damage the brand name. We'd greatly appreciate proof of said genocide.[OOC: A link to the topic would be nice...]

While most of the Juumanistran fleet is currently engaged in other theatres, we are willing to contribute to this war, should our assistence be deemed necessary. [OOC: It sounds like this is near future-ish level tech; am I wrong in that assumption?]

OOC: Its 2004-06 tech, bearing in mind i focus on aeronautical advnacements over land and sea.

OOC: Thanks, although this might turn into a bitchfest soon enough; DI is, technically, a spacefaring nation. He's bought warships from myself and Vernii, that I know of. Given that you've declared war on him, I doubt he'll play by the rules of courtsey and keep things within the modern tech arena. Hence my use of the phrase "while the Juumanistran fleet..."; in case he does opt to use the space tech he's bought over the past month or so.

We warn you here and now - any attempts made at the Sovereignty of Dracun Imperium will result in a state of war between Hogsweat and Mcleod03.

The Alenterian Consul, in accordance with Alenterian foreign policy regarding genocide and war, is strongly requesting an envoy from both Dracun Imperium and the McLeodian Empire. Peace talks will be held on the Grand Consul's private yacht on Neutral waters.

Additional EB-1C bombers are also being readied across McLeod03, a total of fifteen squadrons being brought fully online and armed. 180 of the advanced and stealthy bombers roar into the sky, heading on pre-designated routes towards Dracun Imperium, as last minute information on DI military bases is fed into the Wolverine guidance systems.

Four squadrons of F-114 Wolfcats, six Al-52 Dragons, and the worlds first squadron of MEB-1Ms have been launched as escorts.

Welcome. We thank you for your commitment to finding a peaceful solution to this conflict. We are still awaiting the arrival of the McLeodian Empire envoy. Please make your self at home on the yacht until the talks begin.

As the Hogsweat fighters land to refuel, the strike group seizes the initiative. The two hundred bombers open their bomb bays, and rotary launchers punch out a total of 2160 Wolverine cruise missiles. Then, they payload gone, and their rear covered by the Al-52s, StealthHawks, and F-114s, the bombers head home.

Each of the missiles ran a quick status check, and fourteen missiles found their guidance to be wrong by more than two metres, so self destructed. The remainder began to split into groupds, heading for seperate air bases, military bases, and supply depots.

Each missile consists of two bomblet filled bays and a 250-lb warhead. They will attempt to avoid ground fire and SAMS, carry minimal numbers of chaff bundles and flares, and are programmed with primary, secondary, and tertiary targets. They will re attack a target until it is considered destroyed. Therefore each could attack one target three times, two targets (two attacks on one, one on another), or three targets.

The bombs land, smashing into the remaining planes on the ground - losses - 19 Planes.

However, some are still in the air, and they give chase to the Mcleodians, firing off Cannon and missile.

Alenterian intelligence sources are picking up signals that teh McLeodian Empire is unwilling to send an envoy. As such Alenteria gives them one more chance to send an envoy.

The anti aircraft funs open fire on enemy planes. missles stream into the air and hit some cruise missles others hit planes. One after another cruise missle struck home. The guns continued to fire none the less. fighters streaked in after the enemy fighter lets lose a barrage. A small amount dogs fight ensued. but the chief military city...byss. was on fire

As the Hogsweat fighters closed, each EB-1C fired off two MAMRAAM medium range missiles, and the F-114s closed in to engage. Meanwhile, MAWS anti-missile systems on the EB-1Cs blinded many seeker heads, and the AL-52s took out others, but it wasnt enough. Missiles got through the defensive networks, badly damaging five of the EB-1Cs, and downing another two completely. The crews attempted to bail out, but both, by some stroke of bad luck, hit the water far too fast to do so, breaking up instantly.

OOC: Ignore the cannon fire then

IC: "INCOMING!"

The missile streaked into bravo leader, and knocked his right wing. THe wing broke off, and bravo leader fell in flames. The last thing he heard was the cries of four of his falling wingmates.

This is a pathetic excuse to wage a war. If you insist on this mindless conflict the emperor of Unified Sith (a member of the R.I.A) will have no choice but to declare a state of war upon all of the dracun imperium enemies.

I ask that this is ended swiftly. If you do not come to youre senses, iam afraid that. Well you get the picture

We find it ironic that the Empire of Unifid Sith is speaking of pathetic excuses to wage war when it is threatening war over the said excuses. We also question whether your alliance would support you in the event that you insert yourself into a war that is not waged against you.

The Dominion of Juumanistra is willing to offer asylum to all who seek it, be they McLeodian or Dracunian; our 414th Planetary Logistics Battalion has established a free zone in which any and all seeking to accept Juumanistra's offer may congregate, as well as a point in which humantarian relief may be brought. JDS Kent and JDS Chester have been sent to defend this free zone, with a regiment from the Third Marine Division waiting in the wings, should they be needed.

We do, however, ask all combatants to respect the neutrality and non-hostility of the Juumanistran presence in the region. We only hope to make the lives of those affected by war better.

[OOC: Not trying to intrude, of course. Just openning up a new avenue of RP. Besides, since this is about genocide, I think this is appropriate. Assuming anyone actually pays attention to this, I don't suppose there's any complaints against using future tech(e.g. space transports) for humanitarian relief, is there? And besides, should anyone bother infiltrating the refugee train, it'll make that much bigger of an explosion.]

In that case Alenteria declares peace between these countries. Any future violation of peace will be seen as an affront to Alenteria and its allies.
