The Britannic Republic
02-04-2004, 20:46
All free and democratic nations are most welcome to the Summit and Conference of Ambassadors.

As the President for this year's summit The Kingdom of the Britannic Republic hereby sets an agenda of;

- International Development
- International Terrorism
- Diplomatic Relations

Other nations are more than welcome to express an interest in other agendas and topics.

The Kingdom of the Britannic Republic is interested in extending diplomatic and friendly relations to other nations.

On Internaitonal Development the Britannic Republic believes that all 'Developing' Countrys' debt should be erradicated and a mandatory 1.6% of GDP spent of Aid. The top 2% of businesses should be obliged to spend, invest and expand into Developing nations.

International Terrorism is more prolifent than ever before. We should unite against our common enemy and expose him wherever we find him. We must squash the religious fundamentalism that in many cases instigates hatred and resolve the many problems that cause fundamentalism.

In these times of security fears and international troubles it is time we nations who hold the values of freedom and democracy close to unite and give our supoport to each other. The Kingdom of the Britannic Republic wishes to spread its alliances and relations further accross the world.

The top 2% of businesses will do what is good for the themselves. Developing nations interested in development help from foreign investors would do a far better job if they made themselves attractive to investment than if we forced them to. The top 2% of businesses would invest 15% or more of their value in a foreign country if it was worth it to them. The Federation of Cabinia did not build its wealth by telling its businesses where to invest.

Forgiveness of international debt should be decided on a case-by-case basis.

The Federation of Cabinia has no fear of international terrorists. We have compulsory military service for all, and our firearms regulations are a model of simplicity. To put it simply, we have a population that has the firepower and knows how to use it. Regarding those nations who choose to disarm their populace and leave them at the mercy of terrorists, we tell our people: "Don't go there."

And what is a monarchy doing hosting a summit for democratic trade nations? I must have gotten on the wrong plane.
