TV5 News: This is a TV5 Breaking News Update! We've just recieved word from the House of Citizens in our nation's capital Jiko Nasaki City that President Alan Ryo Takashi, head of state of the Republic Of Pacifica consisiting of the Democratic Republic of Terra Pacifica, and Protectorate Colony of Neo Pacifica has refused to recognize that the new Socialist BLOC Majority Government.

This is the same BLOC political party that was overthrow by the United Republicans after the impeachment of it's government during a nation wide referedum after famine, disease, and defecits (OOC: this didn't actually happen wasn't that bad, the state controlled government is trying to show the socialists in a bad light)had plagued the nation due to it's gross mismanagement ruining hundreds of thousands of lives.

Appearently they refused to accept the voting results due to some appearent complaints in faulty numbers that could effect the ballot result and MP (Member of Parliment) eligibity deemed unfit for government from the overseeing Terra Pacifican Council because of past "criminal records, and characters of a questionable nature".

Under orders from the President of the Republic Of Pacifica (Alan Ryo Takashi)he has demanded that the Neo Pacifican government dissolves according to the constitution the Terra Pacifican government drafted to the colony of Neo Pacifica and recall an election under supervision from Terra Pacifican officials.

As expected though the stubborn leader of the Socialist BLOC Maddam Hanso, Aki has refused to accept the President's demands and has refused to recognized itself as under the control of the head of state and a colony of the Republic of Pacifica. Instead they are moving to begin a referedum asking the populace if they desiring to declare independence from the Republic Of Pacifica, this according to critics can spark a civil war and in the event having Terra Pacifica crushing the Neo Pacifican borderline force.

Both sides have asked for international assistance in putting down this civil war and taking over each other's side.

President Alan Ryo Takashi was not avaliable for comment.

As your closest ally and partner in the CoN Treat, the Grand Duchy of Hamptonshire offer to mediate this crisis. While we are close to the government of Terra Pacifica, We will not allow a Civil War that will do nothing but hurt civilians.

Peacekeepers and negotiators are ready to depart.

Looking at this situation, Premier Adin Estridge has given the USSNSR Army and Air Corps orders to prepare for departure for a peacekeeping mission. When asked why, he replied with the following:

In accordance with Article 4 of the CoN Treat, and Military Sections II, III, V of the Alliance Treaty, the Grand Duchy of Hamptonshire has the obligation to deploy peacekeeping forces. We ask that both sides gather aboard the HNS Duke of Hampton to discuss the situation.

Our forces will remain neutral, we seek a peaceful resolution to this crisis.

We the Democratic Republic Of Terra Pacifica will join in peace conference, only and ONLY if the Neo Pacifica government throws out plans of referedum for independence in which we will regard them as a rebel state and bring back stablity by force if necessary!

You may make conditions only when you both are aboard the Duke of Hampton.

As for the independence referedum...there are precidents for such actions.

We have sent General Jiko Nakagi Chief of our Armed Forces and Defence Minister to the HMS Duke of Hampton and will agree with talks. But only if the Neo Pacifican socialists group, "not government!" at least hold plans for their "referedum".

Such a suggestion is quite reasonable, however we asked for the leaders of both sides. We highly recommend that your President comes to these talks. Prime Minister Cessar is flying to the HNS Duke of Hampton aboard supersonic transport as we speak.

We will agree with talks but due to the sensitive nature of the situation and our distrust of the Terra Pacifican government we decline to send over our president but instead will send our foreign affairs minister Kiko Natiya to the HMS Duke Of Hampton in the event of a possible attempt on Comrade Akira's life. As in the referedum we will pause preperations for 48 Hours (NS Time) for peacetalks but know this we will do everything in our power for our right to soveriegnty, if talks fail though....prepare to accept our independence with force!

Absolutely out of the question! We cannot risk any outside intervention towards our enemy. Neo Russia we ask that you help support our cause! We are alone against our fight for independence please help us, at least help us to deter any Terra Pacifican attack!

This is quite outrageous! We cannot function with a large fleet blockading our navy and merchant fleet. We demand that you pull out or at least reduce your fleet numbers as you are in sovereign waters of the Republic Of Pacifican (trying to stir things up a little, going off to bed!)

First of all, this is not a blockade. Second of all, we have revised our position. Merchants ships and ships on mission of mercy may cross the patrol lines.

As for our ships in your sovereign waters, the treaties between us allow such deployments in times of war, civil unrest, or terrorism.

The 3rd Fleet is there to make sure neither side can attack the other while peace negotiations are in process.

Very Well...we reluntanly agree to your terms, we just feel a litte uncomfortable even with an strong brother like you to occupy our waters and dictate policy around our territory (somewhat). But we feel grateful for your commitment for peace and your commitment to put down these socialist savages.

We are in no way dictating policy, we merely seek to prevent war. However, if war cannot be averted the Grand Duchy will have to decide what, if any action, it will take.

Neo Pacifica, these forces would be based for means of keeping the peace. We support the freedoms of all people, thus you, but we would also like to see any split be done through peaceful means. Civil wars have proven to be bloody affairs that hurt the civillian populace. With that, our forces would be within both nations to act as a neutralizing force. We wish not for an outbreak of war, we wish not for the blood shed of innocent peoples caught between both the peoples of the socialist party of Pacifica and the more conservative.

We also ask that, if war break out, Hampton too help act as a neutralizing force.

If war does break out, we have the 2nd Army Group and the 4th and 5th Reserve Corps to act as peacekeepers.

Neo-Soviet Russia, as the fourth major party in this crisis, you are invited to send a high level representative for the talks aboard the HNS Duke of Hampton.

Premier Adin Estridge himself shall take part in these talks. The Premier will depart within the next hour for the Duke of Hampton

Premier Estridge will be welcomed and given a stateroom. I hope that through these talks Civil War can be averted.

I do believe both our nations wish to avert possible conflict.

That is understandable. Though with that, we ask then that you allow us to send a small naval force to work in conjuction with your own in monitoring and assuring a buffer zone.

The reason we have sent so many ships is because of the Treaty of the Concert of Nations which is binding upon Hamptonshire, Terra Pacifica, Neo Pacifica, and the other nations of the CoN.

We ask that your Premier land aboard the HNS Imperator. That carrier is farther from the patrol zone and out of range of potential hostile aircraft. Once your leader safely lands there we will move him under heavy fighter escort to the 3rd Fleet Flagship, HNS Duke of Hampton.

Our ships shall indeed join up with with Escort Group 3.

And about the Premier's landing aboard the HNS Imperator then being transferred to the HNS Duke of Hampton, that is acceptable. We look foward with hope that this meeting will indeed be succesful.

The flight deck of the HNS Imperator, the newest vessel in the Royal Navy, was cleared of all aircraft in preparation of Premier Adin Estridge's arrival.

50...40...20...10...2 miles out the deck commander announced over the shipwide speaker system.

Woosh...screech. The Premier's airplane comes to a stop.

While the plane is still powering down Commodore April Perry, CO of the Imperator runs onto the flight deck to greet the Premier.

"Premier Estridge, this way please. We'll get you to the hanger, on a chopper and over to the Duke of Hampton ASAP." Commodore Perry yelled at the Premier over the sound of his plane's engines.

"Yes, of course. Thank you." responed Estridge in kind.

Ten minutes later...

Premier Estridge, aboard one of four identical Sea Stallions, departs from the Imperator for the Duke of Hampton.

12 F-35s and 8 AV-8B Harrier IIs escort the Sea Stallions to the Duke of Hampton.

20 minutes later...

Premier Estridge lands aboard the Duke of Hampton, is greeted by Prime Minister Louis Cessar, and is shown to his stateroom.

Premier Estride looked over the small room from the doorway. A tired yet strangely bright smirk covered the man's lips. The forty-something Premier shook his head. Rooms such as this brought back interesting memories from his time in the armed forces. Stepping in, the man dropped his bags to the floor then rubbed his temples. The next few days would be..fun. The man then sat, a hand running through dark hair. He knew that the talks would be long, and that he'd need his rest. With that, Adin Estridge shifted to his side. In a matter of minutes he'd be out though.

However, as the situation seems to be under control at present we will not take any further action other than declare moral support for our elected Socialist comrades. President Alan Ryo Takashi president of our Republic of Pacifica has just declared martial law as he and his emergency cabinet have been placed in a undisclosed place for protection with Terra Pacifican Special Forces after a large explosion off the port city of Port Atlantis Naval Base....details are fairly sketchy at this point at the amount of mass destruction or deaths but all we know right now is that this country is falling into the brink of war with Neo Pacifica who are suspected in carrying an massive attack against the Terra Pacifican Navy using appearent "dirty" bombs made from their large plutonium surplus and possibly smuggled from merchant' ships...*pauses* it looks like we're finally getting a picture from one of the civil defence imbedded reporters...

This is an outrage! We have not carried out any attack, we do not carry any responsiblity for the attack against Port Atlantis! Though tragic this has to be a lesson on the consequences for large capitalist societies you try to crack down their views on other socities and that the Terra Pacifican government should just back off from Neo Pacifica Affairs. "The Information Ministry and the office of the Supreme Chancellor of the Democratic Republic Of Terra Pacifica has just announced from an undisclosed location that we have just declared war against the Rebel Colony of Neo Pacifica after overwhelming evidence has been found to be connected to the Socialist Rebels occuping the Neo Pacifica House.

This is the HNN Central News Desk-

The Hamptonian and Neo-Soviet Russian fleets have been ordered into defensive positions between Neo and Terra Pacifica in the Tetra Strait.

Prime Minister Cessar and Neo-Soviet Russia Premier Adin Estridge have both been evacuated from the area aboard a hypersonic transport to an undisclosed military base in Northern Hamptonshire.

When asked for comment Foreign Minister Lord Easton replied:

"This is a most distressing turn of events. Thousands of lives have been lost in an attack we can only define as terrorist in nature. While at this time the Grand Duchy of Hamptonshire is neutral in this conflict; if we find that Neo Pacifica was behind this terrorist attack, we will be forced to respond as any civilized nation would."

The naval forces from Hamptonshire and Neo-Soviet Russia have been ordered to try to keep both sides from engaging each other. All shipping has been blockaded and all offensive military aircraft from Terra Pacifica are being escorted out of the Tetra Strait. Sources in the Foreign Ministry have indicated that Hamptonshire will soon be forced to act one way or another because of the Concert of Nations Treaty.

In related news the 2nd Army Group, three hundred and fifty thousand of the best troops in Hamptonian Royal Army, Airforce, and Marines have returned from extensive training exercises. Their training was in desert, artic, jungle, forest, island, and urban combat. They also were trained in military and civil policing procedures and tactics.
