Massive Tiberium Mutation Outbreak... Billions Dead

In what can only be described as an utterly devastating tragedy, an incalculably massive outbreak of Tiberium has fatally eliminated more than 98% of the population in H3, leaving behind 5 million survivors. Tiberium, first discovered in H3 in 2059, is an alien element notorious for causing mutation in nearly any organic substance.

"It is unknown how this disaster occurred. We are just as shocked over it as everyone else on earth," said H3 President and Commander in Chief, Adrien Hitler III. "Our scientists at the Black Mesa Research Facility who have worked many years on this substance are just as baffled as I am, as they say that it was not their Tiberium which caused this...incident."

The H3 leader declined further comment on the subject, but asked that any nation within the region and it's alliance ties who is willing to donate funds to help rebuild the nation after this immense destruction to please do so. He also mentioned that since the military is largely barren and empty at the moment, there would be a very large scale sale of hardware to any interested nation. Such items to be included in the package are the P-850 Twin-Cannon Mammoth Tank, the P-900 Mammoth Hovertank, the BANSHEE VTOL stealth fighter/bomber interceptor aircraft, and the BFG10k Plasma Assault Rifle.

THIS JUST IN!!! In what could only be a miracle of God (or Max Barry), the lives of everyone affected by the April 1st, 2074 Tiberium gas leak have been restored, further baffling scientists and HMO leaders worldwide.

"I don't know what the hell is going on, but whatever it is, thank you very much," said an ecstatic Adrien Hitler III after discovering the miracle first hand when his press secretary burst into the room just hours after being declared dead.

Although the cause for the Tiberium leak are still widely unknown, scientists at the Black Mesa Research Facility are keeping a close eye on their stores of the lethal substance, just to make sure there is no repeat of the incident.

Apparently a loose chipmunk snuck into our Black Mesa facility and somehow chewed through the tiberium storage. My bad.

You muat conduct a purge immediately! We have had dealings with Tiberium before and they inevitably cause the affected to mutate and strike out at the general population. In your case it would be disastrous and to aid you we are sending 1000 space marines.

OOC: The thread is done. It was a joke in response to the resetting of nations on April 1st.

I will pay you 1-5 billion dollars to allow me to go down and harvest 1,000 tons of tiberium.

Ooc: Actually... this thread started off pretty serious but after I realized the population reset WAS a joke, then I decided to closify it. :)

O are you sure you don't have any tiberium in your back pocket?
Hitler III

Ooc: My nation has a vast amount of both natural and synthetic tiberium in storage, if that is what you're asking. No one carries it around in their "back pocket," though.

Would you be intrested in selling so tiberium to me?

Don't worry, my nation wouldn't be handling this we would send it to one of our regions penal nations.

Well if one of your region's penal nations are interested, they're gonna have to talk to us about it personally, since we don't just sell hazardous materials to anyone. Especially tiberium...
