Vexia invades the Neutral Blackgold Hills

(OOC: Despite what it might say elsewhere, i am not a Noob nation, and did and should still have apopulation of 300 million. I have also got several near-future techs that i "stole" form other nations, though with permission, of course)

Vexia, seeing that UN Peacekeepers have left the Blackgold Hills, a
neutral 5 miles by 3 strip of land between several nations and containing sveerla rich oil deposits, has decided to move 20,000 of its men and 5 of its T-80 Tank Divisons into the region to claim the Oil. we are aware that several other nations have interest in this region, but we are confident that we can lay claim to this land, it being no more than 30 miles south of our capital.(our borders are only 15 miles south of the capital)

OOC: I'm a bit wary of rping with such far-future tech nations as yourself, as, to be blunt, they are quite capapble of annihilating my near-future nation from orbit and NOT be godmodding. Still, Maybe i can turn that to my nations' advantage.............

Vexia agrees to this sharing, though why a people who are so advanced have need of fossil fuels is beyond us.
We gladly hand you control of the eastern Blackgold Hills.

"Despite Obvious Imperialism, the UN and the International Community continues to remain silent on the Blackgold Hills issue. Archchancellor Valdez has released this statement to VBN Reporter sat a recent conference: This isn't about the Oil. No really. We're here to-uh- liberate the locals from their opressive terrorist leaders.(a bodyguard whispers in his ear) Oh? No terrorists? what about Druglords? No? damn. Oh, well, I guess it is about the Oil then. Well, as you can see, we now have 5 full tank divisons, 20,000 regualrs plus 500 of our Patriot Elite, and 1 full titan legion belonging to mutual investors. We will be moving a Divison of our Model 1 Battlemechs- supported by Sky' and Spidermechs- to support them in securing the deposists for drilling."
This has been a VBN World News Broadcast."

At the urging of our allies, we have begun drilling and processing- the Blackgold Hills are now riddled with Refineries and Oil Rigs, and the air is now thick with poisonous fumes. the once beautiful forests have been cut down to fuel our furnaces that power our refineries.
All Hippy protesters have been opressed by the establishment, and thrown in prison.
(If this doesn't bring the fanatical left running. i don't know what will)

We would like to inquire as to why you have began stripmining an autonomous region that has only recently had sovereignty returned to it. More precisely, what gives you the right to occupy the Blackgold Hillians and take the wealth of their region? In addition, the Juumnistran ISF's Sixth Squadron has been deployed to observe the situation.

Petty ethics? You call defending the sovereignty of a nation that's been landgrabbed "petty ethics"? We pity you, really. And do not be so quick in discounting our military might. We ask you again: withdraw from the Blackgold Hills that you have illegally occupied, or be forcefully evicted. This is your final warning.

i have produced 10 mb/d so far

i am setting up oil refineries, do you wish to use these refineries vexia, $1000 per 1 million barels this is due to the huge costs of building them it will be operational in three weeks (2 rl days)
i am begining to export oil to my region, i suggest you do the same, you may use our air coverage if you wish, as an ally.

We thank you for the gracious offer, and we shall be more htna happy to have Sigmis Aerial escorts as our cargocraft take our oil back to Vexia. w ehave managed almost 2.5 mb/d production so far, but should soon increase this to 3 or even 4 mb/d with your aid and increased usage of slash and burn tactics.
As for other nations, if you wish to share in our oil industry, we are willing to listen to any and all offers.
For those worried about our occupation of the region, don't worry. we're only here as long as the oil is, so in about 10 Years( around 1-2 rl weeks, depending on the speed of posting and reactions) or so, maybe even sooner than that, we will reutrn this land to whatever and whoever wishes to claim it- though frankly, i can't see why they would want to, after we're done with it.

the squad had slow progress through the machinary, they had been told by the tech-preists that some natives were occupieng part of the machineary complex, they stepped out of the valkyrie, they began patrolls of the area, there were four three-man squads, they were equipped with standard issue lasguns and did not fear any damaged would be caused to the equipment, they just had to 'clear' the civilians.

OOC: It's in ns days, i suppose. As i said, the oil will likely run out pretty fast as we extract it and ship it.

"but it's my home!" complained the old farmer.
"I'm sorry, but for the benefit of the Vexian Commonwealth and the Sigmis Imperium, you're home and the land its on has to be temporarily reallocated. it will be returned to you in 10 years." said the smooth tongued Vexian lawyer, flanked on either side by heavily armed Patriot Elite Soldiers.
"But i might not be alive then!"
"then you won't have to worry about it then." said the lawyer soothingly, as great bulldozers ploughed up the earth behind him.
Suddenly, a hail of bullets rained down on the bulldozers, causing the workers to panic and abandon their machines.
"Damn Ecogeurillas." muttered the lawyer, as he was escorted hasitly back to his armoured car.
the old farmer dove for cover, and watched aghast as his family home became a battlezone between the Patriot Elite and the Ecogeurillas. It would be over in minutes, and the Vexians would win, but he knew that any chance of him getting his land back was gone with the fleeing lawyer.

(1 rl day = 1 ns year) i did not want to do this but:

the marines stepped out of their thunderhawks at varios points the GoS 5th and 12th companies had been sent to erradicate all survivors of the cleansing, Captain Varus of the 16th had ordered all villages suspected of ecoguerilla sympathies to be removed, there had been a 3 hour orbital bombardment from the blade of sigmis in low orbit and then a imperial navy arial sweep of the area using marauder bombers
http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/acatalog/IAF002.jpg

and now the space marines had been sent in detachment strength to check for survivors and quiken their passing.

the space marines stepped forward into the decimated reckage of a once beautiful township, there lay great statues in pieces shatered and rubble strewn streets (what terrain, culture and arcutecture are the blackgold hills?) they stepped amongst the dead and the flamming reckage of vehicles, they came across a weapons cash and destroyed it, then walked into a still standing building. there were injured and children amongst them, but then an ecoguerilla stepped out of the crowded mass of people with an m-16 machine gun and hammered a clip of rounds into tne lead marine. the marine fell to the ground and the guerilla grabed for a second clip from his pocket, it fell to the ground and he scrambled for it on the dusty floor and managed to snatch it. the man stood up to find the marine he shot stannding there with small dents in his power armour and no other damage. the marine grabbed the terrorists throat with on hand and threw him into a wall knocking him unconscious. the marine then stamped out the remaining life of theis ecoguerilla with a quik stamp from his heavy ceramite boot. the rest of the squad the n aimed their bolters at the remaining people in the room and oppened fire, 1 shot for each was spent. they did not waste any ammo on innacuracy.

The Blackgold Hills, like much of the untill recently neutral and unclaimed lands around Vexia, are simple Baltic Hills with a few towns and lots of tiny villages, and most are farmers and sheperds, though a few have mafiya connections, hence the good armaments.

Incredible. It is good news indeed that the harvest is going so well.
We are way ahead of schedule, but we cannot and must not slow our speed.
The Armada being hastily constructed in our Shipyards of Dyenport will need Oil to get across to Hogsweat, and the Mechs and Tanks aboard it will need Oil to fight there.
However, it seems Ecoguerilla Activity is increasing at an alarming rate as we cut down the last of the Ancient Blackgold Pines.
We have theorized that using local families as human shields may be a sufficient deterrent.
What do you think, Sigmis?

yes and further oil reserves lower down have been discovered, at 3mb/d each they will last at least a century.

but hogsweat has too much power in this conflict, we need to sort it so we all have 1 thread.
can we also postpone the attack untill next monday for when my fleet will be delivered and fully operational.

i am fighting near-future to future tech weather they like it or not, i won't be using post-future wh40k tech though.
