The small country of Legionair Is in termoil after communist forces took the white palace in Legion City, This knocked out the central goverment taking the king and his royal family a prisoners of war. The Legionair millitary attacked the communist forces (reds) inside the city and drove them out of Legion city. But to the amazment and suprise of Legionair millitary forces (white empire) the communist took the king and his family. they are thought to be dead. the fighting continued as the communist forces attacked the city taking it yet again. The white empire has countered and attacked the city again, They have met harsh resistment and have only been able to take the western half of the city. the reds soon countered the attack with its own millitary forces, Creating a stand still in the city. The white empire millitary forces seem to be weakened by the defecting of military generals to the reds side. The communsit promise peace and prosperity when they take control. This has fulled the masses of Legionair due to the oppresive stance of goverment. the White empire has promised change if they retake the country but most people do not believe this do to the past. The war seems to be dragging on and no one sees any help in sight. the communist forces have asked for out side help to bring this corrupt goverment down. Leginair news-Legion City

TOday the city of Romosk was offically taken by the communist forces in eastern Legionair. Red forces moved into the city during the night and overran the white empire check points and barracks. After that they moved to attack the town hall which had been informed of the Reds. The fighting lasted five hours with the white empire suronded and cut off from help. the reds took the town hall and the city. This marks a great victory for the reds in there fight against the empire. The fighting in Legion City continued with neither side gaining any ground. from legion city Legionair

This war was started by the communists remember the Royals are only trying to rule there country. If the people wish to change that they could have asked for international presure to change the rule but not war maybe the Royals would settle for being a constitional monarch.

King James V wishes to express concern at the events unfolding in the small nation of Legionair. The communist rebels capturing of a fellow monarch is disturbing, and HRH requests that the Legionair Royal Family be released from custody immediately. He also offers the family safety inside the McLeodian Empire.

The Republic of Gackolario condems the former Royal Family of Legionair for allowing their people to gain enough power to overthrow them. If they cannot maintain control then it is time for a new government to be established that can maintain order.

The People's Republic wholeheartedly condemns this attempt to overthrow the legitimate government of Legionair. We also condemn the nations who seek to impose their corrupt ideals onto Legionair by aiding these criminals.

Two Venona-class supersonic bombers have been sent against each airfield in Communist controlled territory(that's two on each airfield, not two altogether), each carrying 20 Storm Shadow cruise missiles targetted against runways and fuel dumps. In the case of military airfields missiles are also targetted against Hardened Aircraft Shelters. The missiles will be launched from a range of 200miles. The Venona's will fly at mach 1.3 at low level whilst inside Legionair's airspace in an attempt to avoid detection.
Other raids are launched against the instruments of Communist propaganda within Legionair, i.e. newspaper, radio stations and TV stations. These are attacked also attacked by Six Venona-class bombers each carrying 20 Storm Shadow's.
Finally, six flights of four Vampire-class stealth bombers will fly over Communist controlled area's and drop 80 dummy paratroopers each into the Communist's territory.

The Republic of Sicrat is alarmed at a Civil war in which several large power have since involved themselves in. Sicrat is hereby offering its diplomatic assistance in any possible peace talks between the communist rebels and the White Empire.

With the news that Hattia would persist in their attempts at foisting their questionable ideals on sovereign nations, the Shildonian Flying Corps. swung into action.
2350km away from the Hattian fleet are eight formations of Vulcan-class heavy bombers, each consisting of four bombers each. Each formation approaches from a different direction from a low altitude. Each Vulcan is carrying a total of 20 air-launched-cruise-missiles. The ALCMs carry out the first 2000km of their flight in stealth mode, flying at low level accross the sea. 200km from the fleet, the ALCMs switch to decoy mode, and maximise their radar signature to simulate an anti-ship missile with the hope of attracting the fire of the enemies anti-missile systems, and forcing them to expend most of their missiles on worthless decoys. Once the ALCMs are fired, the Vulcans turn around and head back to the refuelling point before heading for home.

The second wave of the attack is timed to happen four minutes after the ALCMs switch to decoy mode. This wave consists of seven four-plane formations of Venona-class supersonic bombers, each approaching from different directions at low altitude and high speed. These each carry six Yakhont-3 anti-ship missiles, which are launched from a range of 776km. With (presumably) the enemies defences depleted from the first wave, the Yakhonts should have little trouble finding their targets.

Their defensive missiles worked well, but there were simply not enough of them...

The Admiral ducked instinctively as a missile barreled into the hull of his ship. He picked himself up and went over to the intercom. "Damage report!" A gruff voice responded, "We've got a huge hole in the side of the ship. We are going to seal off the lower decks and that might give us enough time to get to a port."

The thin skinned Zhukov was completely ripped apart by the missile...

The Kirov class battlecruiser Hammer of the Proletariat managed to outmaneuver a few of the missiles but took a serious hit to the engine and was now unable to move.

The battleship Engels was dead on the water, having taken multiple missiles to the deck, killing most of the crew.

The aircraft carrier Voice of the People had a large hole in the side and was leaning over precariously.

The Destroyer Karl Marx took 3 missiles to its middle and had split in half.

As soon as they were gone, 30 Mig-31 'Foxhounds' took off quickly and sped into escort formation around the bombers. Chaff would have no effect against the ALCMs, since they aren't radar guided, and the Yakhonts would probably realise that a large radar signature floating in mid-air is not a ship. Not to mention that if you launched as much chaff as you did it would blot out your own radar as well as the missiles radar.

The white empire city of Ventrograd has been surronded by the red troops. The white empire is puting up tough resistence to the communist forces. They are attempting to break through and reconnect with forces out side of the city. the city is in shambles after the artillary bombardment. naval ships of the white empire patrol the water out side of the city. They bombarded the reds from the battleships and aircraft carrier. The flag ship ( the Hindenberg ) lead the attack on the communist forces. They appear to be holding the communist forces at bay. The battle has a total of 10,000 casulties from both sides, with several hundread civillian deaths.

Thousands of people had turned out in Red Square. The entire nation of Hattia was furious over the Shildonian attack. Effigies of high level Shildonians and Shildonian flags were being burnt, disemboweled and shot. Training camps and recruitment centers for the military were filled to the limit.

Thousands of troops marched through the main streets down towards the docks and the troopships. The tanks and artillery were being loaded up. Escorting the ships were the 4th and 5th Battle fleets.

Hattia would support elections, though the monarchy the communists are fighting against seems not to have allowed them. We are heading to Shildonia, so we are no longer going to fight in Legionair. At least for now.

Airbourne radar balloons detected the inbound bombers while they were still 800km from the coast, giving the air defence units on standby plenty of time to get airbourne and prepare for interception.
At three different bases, the alert aircraft took to the air. In the sectors compromised, there were a total of 12 Demeter-class air superiority fighters on standby with a weapons load of six Cobra long-range missiles, four SideWinder Mk2 short range missiles, and a 27mm cannon with 150 rounds.
Once airbourne, the fighters began heading towards the inbound targets. As they sped towards the targets, initial intelligence was radioed to them. The pilots were told to concentrate on the bombers, as the fighters would be most likely be so loaded with fuel (the Mig 31 has no mid-air refuelling ability, so they'll be carrying most of their fuel in external drop tanks, leaving little space for weaponry) that they would not prove much of a problem.
As each formation approached the inbound bombers, the rear two Demeters slowed down and fell back slightly. One of the rear fighters activates its radar, transferring the data via a secure data link with the lead fighters, who aproach head-on so as to present the smallest possible radar signature. 140km from the target, the lead fighters fire off five Cobras each at the largest radar targets before making a 180 degree turn and making a high speed dash to behind the other Demeters.
The process is then repeated, except with the roles reversed.

With the news that Hattia had decided to mount an imperialist campaign against the our brave and noble nation, Communist party members were rounded up and imprisoned on Suspicion of Conspiracy to Commit High Treason against the People's Republic of Shildonia. Citizens of communist nations are expelled for their own safety, and any personel aboard vessels from Communist nations that are docked in Shildonian territory are subjected to a curfew from 7pm to 7am, during which time they may not leave their ships.

Military aircraft are moved to dispersal airfields to make it more difficult for them to be attacked by air raids. Constant Combat Air Patrols begin to be mounted over major cities and bases, with AWACS support.

Midgetman SICBM trailers are given the orders to disperse from their bases into the Shildonian countryside. Each trailer is accompanied by 20 soldiers from elite infantry units. They are under orders to remain under radio silence, and will only be communicated with in two circumstances: To give the launch orders, or to return them to base.

Logistics teams from Shildonian Special forces groups begin hiding arms caches around Shildonia so that in the unlikely event the country is ovrrun the fight will continue. The caches contain everything from guns, ammunition, anti-tank rockets, mines, food, medical supplies and anti-aircraft missiles. The positions of these caches are carefully marked so that retrieval will be relatively easy.

Nimrods equipped with LASH pods and Magnetic Anomaly Detectors begin 24 hour coverage of the Shildonian Sea to hunt for submarines. (Bear in mind that there is no way of knowing the nationality of any submarines that are found, so if you're neutral and you've got subs nearby you might want to consider moving them)

At Heignton Space Port, the CloudRaker shuttles William IV and Northumbrian are launched on a satallite suppression mission against Hattian satallites, the orbits of which were extrapolated by using data from the Favourdale Space Tracking Centre. They are each armed with five 2.5lb depleted uranium shells for use against targets in a low orbit (i.e. recon satallites) and two rockets which use Hohmann transfers to attack sattalites in higher orbits, primarily targetted against GPS satallites.

Three waves of five Vulcan-class heavy bombers are sent to bomb the Haton docks, which intelligence has suggested is the centre of a large military build-up. The attack is timed to happen in daytime, so as to weaken the morale of the general population, and to inspire thoughts that the Hattian armed forces are unable to defend the country, let alone attack another one. The attacks are conducted from 900km off the coast using SHOC supersonic stand-off cruise missiles launched from low altitude. Each Vulcan carries 24 SHOCs, apart from one of the Vulcans in the third wave which carries 20 SHOCs and a UAV for BDA.
Each wave approaches from a different direction(though always from the sea, obviously) at 15 minute intervals. The missiles are primarily targetted at the troop ships and the jetties\piers\whatever the things you tie the ship up next are called. Any other military vessels that are in port are also targetted. If there are any oil refineries nearby they will also be targetted.

Yathereno will send the imperial fleet to dock in the ports of Hattia with the Imperial Family aboard the flag ship Laviathen of yatherenos imperial fleet to negotiate a peace. It is hoped that Shildonia will not bomb the ports.

Hattia has left Legionair, you can keep the Royals. It is likely they would be shot in Hattia.

We have the Royals but we are send our Royals to help Shildonia and Hattia to negotiate a peace. And to try and stop Shildonia from bombing the ports of Hattia.

Hattia will only accept a cease-fire with the unconditional surrender of Shildonia.

Shildonia will probably not surrender unconditionaly so it will be hard to get them to do so.

Shildonia will not even bother to further this pointless charade until Hattia realises that it is impossible for a 60,000 ton warship to outmanouver a missile flying at Mach 3.5, and that whatever anti-missile systems were aboard the 3rd Battle Fleet would have most likely been launched at the decoy missiles, leaving the Yakhonts a clear path to sink pretty much every ship in the fleet.
Equally, Hattia should realise that Communist Louisiana has been ignored, and so cannot play a role in this RP, whether it be by spamming huge pictures of soldiers, or by using bases in his country. On the subject of bases in other countries, it would be decent of you to actually get the other countries to agree to your using their country to conduct a war of aggression.
Also Hattia may want to find out the range of a cruise missile. I'll give you a clue, it's not intercontinental.
Hattia may also like to explain what these "MDS" things are which can shoot down hundreds of low flying cruise missiles flying at Mach 4.5, and how said missiles (which can penetrate more than 13m of concrete) have trouble causing damage to a ship.
Oh yes, when you fire thousands of rifles into the air, the bullets come down again (it's called "Gravity"). Will you be bothering to RP out the casualties of your little propaganda show? I doubt it, but then Communists seem to think they have the ability to ignore the laws of physics.
