Axis Nova

"Today, Axis Nova has been launching a continuous series of satellites into space. The government says the payload of each is a geosurvey or camera satellite, which explains the large lense structures attached to the bottom."
The camera pans across the launchpad, where even now another rocket flings itself skyward on a pillar of fusion flame.
"Some environmental groups have expressed concern about the presence of military grade fusion reactors in these satellites, but the government has reassured the populace that even if somehow one of the satellites re-enters, it would burn up... or else, fall outside of Axis Nova territory."
"And now for the evening sports..."
