Today, the President has announced that general security levels in the Austar Union are being stepped up during the time of which the international conference is being held. All borders have been closed barring major highways, and multiple checkpoints have been temporarly established to prevent entry by terrorist forces. The army are now running the borders, and the equivilant checkpoints, until the conference has finished.
It is also announced that passengers coming from the seaports, and airports are being heavily screened. If there is even slight of suspision, the passenger will be taken into custody for further questioning.
The government would like to apoligise for any inconveniances this may cause in your travels, however it is a nessasary move by the Austarian Government to protect international interests such as world leaders, and the delegates they choose to send.
These measures will end 24 hours after the last delegate leaves the Austar Union, and security at that time will return to a normal state.
