The 12 ships of the newly formed Hand of Ganymede...They awaited their prey in a globular cluster which helped to mask them even more then their cloaking devices could...

Captain...Sensors have picked up our prey....An 8 ship convoy belonging to the T.A.S....Current heading will be them into visual in a few minutes...

Very well Lt....Inform the fleet our moment is at hand...Today we strike out in our new life...By taking what is rightfully ours.

Lt. Jones inform the fleet that we shall break off into a 2 ship attack wing...That is 2 Ships will engage each Freighter while the remaining 4 will act as scouts for any T.A.S Warships...

YES SIR....As the bridge crew moved with dedication and determination...The T.A.S Convoy approached.....Unwary of it's role in the ambush....

Several moments later.......

Capt. The convoy is at Optimum azimuth for attack....

Excellent...*Pressing a button on his command chair*...This is the Capt. ALL Ships GO GO GO....

With that the 12 ships leaped forward closing ever so quickly...as the approached the convoy ...They DeCloaked and begin firing concentrated disruptor blasts into Key systems....Namely....Weapons Control,Engine Room & Bridge....After several minutes...They stopped and begin transporting as much of the cargo from the frieghters as they could carry.

As the 12 ships ReCloaked and moved off the last ship..."The Command Ship"...Stopped and beamed a tight beam transmission to the convoy...

"THE HAND OF GANYMEDE THANKS YOU FOR YOUR GENEROSITY...PLEASURE DOING BUSINESS WITH YOU"

With that the last ship turned and moved off after it's friends....Cloaking as it went...

Several parsecs away the 12 ships of The Hand of Ganymede. Pull into their assigned ship berths. Inside an abandoned shipyard with 80% of its shipbuilding capacity long since removed by whoever once owned this station. Capt. Blackstone ordered the holds of all ships transported to the main cargo bay of the station. After ordering a through inventory of their haul…He sat back in his chair and closed his eyes…

It was a goldmine 5 yrs ago when James Blackstone a down on his luck privateer. Displaced of his home by the T.A.S/CorpSac War. Having swore vengeance for the loss of his home and the death of his family. James Blackstone wandered aimlessly from system to system. Until his old decrepit ship’s star drive gave out. As he consigned himself to an ignamious death his ship bumped into the side of this station. Using the last of his available energy he transported himself onto the station as his imploded. Finding the station operating on minimal power. He set about exploring his new home. Much to his surprise was the discovery in the docking bay. 8 brand new Starships…Checking the Computer mainframe he found out this was an old automated shipyard. When the former occupants left they left in such a hurry they forget one fully functional automated dry-dock which had completed its last inputted orders before it ran out of resources. Finally it dawned on him….The instruments of his revenge were at hand…As he stared at the plaque on the wall of the station….”GANYMEDE STATION”

As Capt. Blackstone sat at his desk. He was startled out of his flashback by the buzz of the intercom. Looking up at his chronometer he noticed several hrs had passed…reaching up he tapped his communicator….

*Yes*…in a sleepy voice

Several moments later after he had freshened up. He stepped through the door to the Cargo Bay.

Lt Ellis what have you got for me as he approached a rather tall lanky individual.

Admiral : damn .. i knew this was comeing all right i want you and task force 13 to go in that area and set up a high resolution tacyon scan
Thomson : aren’t those good on cloaked ships
Admirals : yes they are all right i want all the convoys in that area escorted buy at least 3 Soyuz class vassals .

Helm *imputes a Crouse and engages *
a few moments later out side of the system the Georgetown Dropped out of warp...
Thomson : all right hide behind a gas giant i don’t want any one to detect us

Helm *moves the ship *
Thomson : scan every thing . but don’t scan to much that they can detect us .
Ops : scanning sir .

OOC: Tachyon Scans can only detect & disrupt Cloaked Vessels...They CAN NOT track them...At most...If & when I strike next...You can use your Tachyon to disrupt my cloak therefore....ruining my ambush....Other then that...You've been used & abused....

OOC: LOL...What makes you think I’m using an Ion based engine...*HINT*...ever hear of a decoy...HAHA...Any decent pirate will make sure they return trail is treacherous to say the least... we also employ double back maneuvers to throw off our trail...

As the T.A.S Ships approached cautiously...They detected an overload in the main reactor....each pulse coinciding with the reactor countdown...
10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1...With that the decoy base exploded in a blast which emitted a level 5 shockwave...Even though T.A.S Ships would not suffer grievous harm the smaller ships were rocked with enough force to cause them potential damages which could render them unsalvageable
Even the capital ships were rocked about violently....

We heartly condemn this war, even though TFU is our rival. *makes note to invade Ganymede sometime.*
