Today, Doujin announced bringing in its 10 Thunder Child (http://www.geocities.com/doujincorp/doujin.html) Class Battleships for massive refits. Even though she is a relatively new Class, new and better systems need to be integrated into the ships currently in use in order to increase effectiveness of the Doujin Navy.

Its a nice website

I see you used the ships from http://www.kitsune.addr.com/Rifts/Rifts-Earth-Vehicles.htm as your inspiration :)

I used two of kitsunes ships, yes.. and I will be replacing those pictures. No I didn't use them as inspiration, I ran into them while looking for trimaran hulled ships.

Cargo: 12,000 tons of nonessential equipment and supplies. Each enlisted crew member has a small locker for personal items and uniforms. Ships officers have more space for personal items. Refit vastly improved living conditions, every officer now has own cabin, and all living and recreational facilities have been significantly enhanced. Most of the ship's spaces are taken up by extra ammo, armor, troops, weapons, and engines.

APAR 12 Three Dimensional Search Radar System
An incredibly advanced radar and computer system first developed for the Mackensen Class, it far surpasses the Aegis system on most other naval vessels. Powerful and flexible radar system that is comprised of four panels that each emit radar waves. If allowed by the horizon, the system can track out to 800 miles (1280 km) and can simultaneously track and identify up to 1392 targets at one time. The system controls missile launched from the long range missile launchers and the system track and guide each individual missile to a individual target for up to 476 targets. If a target is eliminated, missiles are automatically guided to a new target. The system can also control missiles launched from other linked vessels as well and can also act as fire control for gun mounts.

Advanced Hull Sonar
Mounted under the bow of the ship. Range of 25 miles (21.7 nm / 40.2 km). This hull sonar system has both a passive and active system built in. Sonar system can track up to 32 targets at one time.

THE REFIT:

Turrets replaced entirely, now all triple mounts featuring latest ETC technology and enhanced armour. Each gun overworked and now has greatly improved accuracy, range, and quicker cooling and reloading times thanks to rotary loading mechanisms and improved heat vents and cooling systems.
Secondary armament increased dramatically, with improved AA capability and better protected mounts.
Internal linings reworked, improvements to fire fighting equipment and fitting of pressure release system all greatly increase survivability.
After change in role from flagship to Surface Warfare escort for carriers and dreadnoughts, VLS is removed and replaced by improved gunnery and radar mounts, and an extension to the helipad and hangar facilities.
Major improvements in anti-missile defence, with upgraded ECM, heavier CIWS for larger missiles, and a point defence SAM system.
Major improvements to ASuW capability. General upgrade of decoys, larger number of torpedoes carried and the installation of the super cavitation-defeating ASuW mortars.
Long range SSM complement doubled to counter threat of opposing battleships and missile cruisers.
Increase in gunnery mounts for defence against swarm attacks.
Improvements in NBC protection, including improved filters and an increase in decontamination equipment embarked.
Overhaul and general upgrade of communication and navigation system.
Installation of AS 18 Short Range Air-Tracking Arrays to handle close range combat. Reserve arrays for APAR system and Secondary Doppler Signal Generator installed for vastly improved stealth detection capability. Improved Sonar.
Fighter control systems installed for air-direction operations.
Complete engine overhaul, resulting in greater reliability and available power.
General improvements to the armour plating, and total maintenance overhaul.

At the moment, the Mk 2 Refit is internal only.

When will it be possible to send my 2 in for refits, and how much will it cost?

200 feet longer than a Nimitz, four more nuclear power plants than a Nimitz...what is this ship's displacement? And is this supposed to be modern tech?

[If you would go to the link provided on the top of the page you would see every relevent figure. For your convenience however, the ship displaces 188,640 tons. It really isn't a battleship but a dreadnaught.]

Actually, its era-2006-2010 tech, to be precise, its hardly as if Nimitzs sit on the edge of large ship construction now.

Actually, SS, a dreadnought would be any current battleship in NS if you say that, considering a dreadnought is a battleship armed with six or more guns having calibers of 12 inches or more. That would make even the Iowa a Dreadnought..

[What I'm doing is repeating the cycle that was started during the days when ships still used sails to get around. Sailing ships-of-the-line and everything up to the HMS Dreadnaught were called battleships, then the Dreadnaught came around and anything that equaled or bettered her was a dreadnaught, anything that equaled or bettered an Iowa during WWII was a superdreadnaught. What I'm doing is calling the MacKensen and any other second generation SD a battleship, the Thunder Child/Fenrir a dreadnaught, and the Leviathan a superdreadnaught. Since the Doujin is one-of-a-kind, I just call it a Fleet Flagship (or FS for short.)]
