Police and Armed forces in the dominican republic have announced that they have managed to defuse a 20 kg bomb paked full of high explosive. At the moment no more is know as the police are not letting anyone through their tight cordon. This comes as the dominican republics army has been seen to be actilvly training
In other news the 2 dominican citizens who were kidnapped two years ago have be found dead by a routine police call out. This is expected to provoke then dominican republic into further stepping up its nuclear weapons program despite repeted outcry from the world

"With recent events involving other powers in direct relation to the Empire, The Czar has issued a complete mobilization of the Derscon Military. All the nation is at security level red, and all military forces are at DEFCON 1. There has been an increase of Waffen SS personell at major government and civilian installations, and all public events have been canceled for the time being. With the bunker complexes now opening, government officials and civilians have been moving to the so-called 'Derscon underground city,' which is a rumored underground bunker complex that literally streched acros the nation, but no evidence supports its excistence. You can see from miles away the large military presence in major cities. All cities now have about the same security as a level 1 military base (((OOC: level one as in fences with concrete blocks and antiaircraft crap -- least defensive))), and all Derscon citizens are required to meet the curfiew of 2000hours to 0600hours. It is known that the Derscon Luftwaffe is on full alert, and some divisions already deployed, and rumors are stating that Derscon Special Forces are already begind enemy lines. Flying in his private jet over the Pacific, headed back to Bonstock after a meeting with Democratic Socialist Leader Froogle of Zecro, Field Marshal Gustavus Adolphus, the President of Bonstock, relaxed in his bed in his private chamber. As he lay down to sleep, his aide, Admiral von Stueben, chief of staff for the Bonstocknian Navy, knocked on the door.

"Herr President?"

"Ugh," was the response. "What is it?"

"Diminix seems to be mobilizing for an unknown purpose."

"Come in, sir." Still lying down in full uniform, Adolphus ran his hands through his rusty red beard. Though over 50, he looked as if he were in his mid thirties still; his face was not wrinkled, his hair was not grey, and he still had the energy of someone twice his age. Though even a man like him needed some rest, and this was clearly evident.

After opening the door and walking in, von Steuben gave a response. "We do not know why. I feel we may be slightly threatened." Von Stueben seemed somewhat older then his superior. He stood tall and proud, but very well looked the part of a Prussian aristocrat, emulating his long deceased ancestors from the estate in Pomerinia. When he spoke he did so with a distinct Germanic accent, as if he was a native of Berlin.

Adolphus yawned, and then got up. He put on his military cap, and asked von Steuben to go over intel reports. This he did. After looking over sattelite photos, showing SAMs and redoubts ringing major cities, Adolphus said, "I am unconvinced that this has anything to do with us, but since Diminix and Bonstock have a history of clashes, I want to know more before we dismiss the issue. Do we have any agents on the ground in Dininix?"

"I think we have four teams of four in their capital."

"I want to authorize a somewhat bold mission. I want those men to tap the government's phonelines, and try to infultrate their command structure. Tell them their orders are to figure out why the precautions are taking place. Do I make myself clear?"

"Yes. We shall do so immidiatly. Should we put the military on alert?"

Adolphus hesitated for a moment, and said, "Put us on DEFCON 4, and have a naval exercise near our colony of Maropian Coast off the eastern shores of _Taiwan, just as a detterant to any hostile actions."

"Yes, sir."

In Diminix's capital, while on the way to bug the offices of defense officials, four Bonstocknian spies stop at a local news stand. A headline in a local newspaper blares "Reichskamphen to restore order to the Reich."

The spies look at eachother, and read the article. They look at eachother again, and walk back to their hotel.

Later, as Adolphus's plane comes in to land, a dispatch is recieved. "So this was all an internal matter within the Reich..." said Adolphus. "Damn this over complicated world! It takes too much time to find out things!"

Diminix, even then it is possible to smuggle someone in. Unless you do routine checks on everyone, and have military walking the streets saying "Hey, you! Let me see your identification." then..
