Seeing as how several large nations have been threatening us lately (the threats have not been intelligent, but they ARE from people 5 x our size...), Axis Nova regretfully announces it's decision to begin development of a weapon of mass destruction for it's own defence.

While understandably we will be vague on the details, we can safely say that the weapon will not be a conventional nuclear weapon, nor will it be a biological or chemical weapon. We want something that can be accurately targeted and doesn't contaminate the landscape.

who are these nations that supposedly threaten the world with WMD's?

IMO you would be much better off if your enemies attacked using conventional weapons, at least you would have a chance of surviving. In the event that you use super weapons to defend your nation, you could find that you would govern a large crater not resembling your previous nation.

May we suggest orbital Ion Weaponry?
